He began walking in the direction where our table was,smirking.
"Oh no! Ethan! Please don't pick me! Please....please....please.

He reached our table and held out his hand to Elsie, saying,
"May I have this dance? O! beautiful lady Elsie."
He asked.

Elsie's cheeks turned to a shade of red.She was blushing so badly.
As they were  dancing , I was dying of jealousy so I excused myself to the washroom.

I mean, I couldn't help it.I was dying of jealousy. Why didn't he choose me.Or maybe, he just wanted me to feel bad and uncomfortable. But I'll show him I'm not moved at all by his action.

After all, he's a rude jackass with his big ego.

By the time I got back, there was a deafening applause for both of them.It was time for the pick and act section of the party.I stood up to leave when suddenly a hand held my arm, stopping me in my tracks.I turned around and saw Ethan.

"Not so fast, girl.Because you're coming with me. You're gonna be my partner.You pick, I act.No excuses."

He said and pulled me towards the stage.

I opened my mouth to speak but no words came out.I picked from the box and gave it to the MC to read.

"Give your girlfriend a grand romantic gesture"the MC read aloud.  

Everyone was like "Awwwwwww".

Seriously?

This people need some good beating from me.It wasn't as if I had a choice.I couldn't say no in front of this crowd and let my parents down.

I searched the crowd and saw my mum winking at me.

Seriously?

My mum is so emotional.

I turned my attention back to the playboy I was currently on stage with.He began to serenade me with Taylor Swift's Blank space.
After singing, he removed the white tulip corsage and handed it to me.This attracted cheers from everyone. 

I did my part and gave him a peg on his cheek. A fake one of course.I still have my opinions about this cocky guy.We had our seats and another pair of people were called.Ethan signalled me to come outside and I followed him outside.He began to initiate a conversation which surprised me. 

"Emily, I know we are not on the best of terms but we can be friends if we try"
He started.

"Hmmmmm, I see"I said staring at him, anger etched on my face.

"Hey, I know that I was rude to you at first at the restaurant but I wasn't having a good day"Dylan continued on.

"And so you decided to vent your anger on me.In case you didn't know, I'm not an anger venting material"I said pouring out my heart and I attempted to walk away but suddenly stopped in my tracks as a pair of hands stopped me.

"I know I was rude but I said I am sorry"
He said.

I said nothing and stared at him blankly.

"How about this? Let us see if it works"He said and carried me up in the bridal style.

"Will you get me down this very minute?People are staring at us right now like a bunch of lunatics"

I said scowling. "Not my problem. They can stare for as long as they want."He replied with a mischievous smirk on his adorable face, wait! What are you doing admiring him.

"Fine, I'll put you down but I'd like to be on friendly terms with you"He said really serious.

"No way.It's easy for you to say."I reply unsure of what to say next.
"This is my number. Meet me at the cappuccino shop down the Ally street tomorrow"

"I'm sorry to disappoint you Loverboy but I ain't coming"I replied sarcastically.

"I'm sure it will interest both your mum and dad that their daughter is not on the best terms with their very close friend and business partner"He said winking at me.

"Ughhh you're such a blackmailer.I'm not coming and that is it.Do you think just uttering a few words of apology will make up for my respect and pride that you shattered? If that is what you think,I'm sorry but you're wasting your time.Now if you would excuse me, I don't have all evening to waste."I said and walked back to our table smiling in self satisfaction.  

Elsie noticed I was grinning and stared at me strangely. I know I owed her an explanation but for now, some things are better untold and I grin even more as angry playboy is staring at me right now.
