"I'm sorry! "
We both blurted out at once and burst out laughing.

After some period of awkward silence and staring, both of us attempted to say something.

"I was wrong!"
We both said at the same time and started laughing again.

He looked so cute when he laughed.

"I'll go first"
We both said at the same time.Again!

We laughed so hard this time that I almost rolled on the floor.My stomach hurt from all the laughing I did.

"Do we have a bunch of lunatics in there?"
Elsie asked furiously.

So she was standing by the door all this while hearing us laugh?
I'm very sure ambulances were on their way to take us to the hospital. She might have taught we had gone insane!

"No, we're cool".
I replied as Ethan kept staring at me.We were sitting on my bed.

"Emily, I'm so sorry for the way I acted earlier. I know I was a jerk out there but I was having a bad time today.."
He said with deep regret.

"Ssshhhh! I know everything. Your mum told me everything. I'm so sorry for your loss.He must have been very important to you"

I said rubbing his back.

"Yeah and thanks for understanding. Am I forgiven? "

He asked smiling.

"Of course!"
I replied excitedly and hugged him back.

"Am I also forgiven? "
I asked.

"I don't think so"
He said smirking.

"Oh!"
I pouted as I turned my back and folded my arms knowing very well that he was only joking.

"How can I not forgive my cutie?"
He said and turned me around to hug me.

"You can come out now guys"
Elsie shouted and unlocked the door.

We went downstairs with her to meet Ethan's friend. By the looks of things, Elsie was already crushing on the guy.

"Hi"
He said as he hugged me.

"Hi"
I said and hugged him.

"Emily,meet my best friend Bennett Jergens and Bennett meet my friends Emily and Elsie"
Ethan said pointing to us.

"Nice to meet you ladies. I've heard so much about you. Ethan won't shut up about you guys. He keeps on talking about you"

He said and laughed as Ethan smiled shyly.

"Now I'm going to serve dinner. Mum's gone out with a friend.She'll be back before eleven"
Ethan said.

"Excuse me ladies.I'm going to help Ethan out"
Bennett said smiling as he winked at Elsie.

I already liked him.He didn't seem like a bad guy at all to me.I just hope whatever chemistry is between him and Elsie grows and works out.Elsie has had mant heartbreaks and if he was also going to do same, I'm so gonna use him for barbecue.

"I like him already"
Elsie whispered.

"Yeah I can see that.You guys look cute together already. I just hope it works out"
I whispered smiling at her.

"Yeah me too"
She replied.

"We're back"
Ethan said as he and Bennett started serving us dinner.

After they were done, we started dinner.

"I'll be travelling to Canada tomorrow. I'm going there for some business deals.I'm sorry for informing you late"
He said.

"But Bennett will staying here till next month so you guys have fun"
Ethan replied smiling at me and Elsie.

"Sure we will"
Elsie said.

"But we still have scores to settle"
She said scowling at Ethan.

"Okay sure. But let me come back then we can settle it"
Ethan said pulling her cheeks as they both giggled.

"That's enough man!"
Bennett said turning green with envy as he swatted Ethan's hand away from Elsie's cheeks.

We all laughed as Elsie's cheeks turned red as cherry.

"Guys, I have an idea"
I said as they stared attentively at me.

"What?"
They all asked in unison.

"Let's all freshen up and watch a movie in Ethan's room.What do you think?"
I asked.

"Great idea!"
Elsie said.

"Cool!"
Bennett said smiling.

"Nice idea!"
Ethan said.

We all hurried upstairs to freshen up.
This is gonna be so much fun!

We were having a movie titles battle in Ethan's room.

"Relax guys, let's just watch the first movie suggested and save ourselves the trouble.
After the first one, if we have time we can watch the rest or when Ethan comes back from the trip, we'll continue watching them.How about that?"
Bennett suggested.

It was a cool thought.

I high-fived him and smiled.He was so smart.

"Okay then but I win because I suggested Beauty and the briefcase"
Elsie said shooting us a victorious smile.

"Yep because I'm already looking at the beauty"
Bennett said winking at Elsie.

"Excuse me?"
Elsie said almost spitting her juice out.

We're having juice while watching the movie.

"Nothing..never mind"
Bennett said and suddenly smiled like an idea just popped up in his head.

"Guys, I've come up with an idea on how to spend the night"
He continued on.

"Let's bring another bed from the guest room and join it with Ethan's bed and tuh-duh! we have a double bed"
He said waiting for our reaction.

"You're a genius Ben!"
Ethan said as they fist-bumoed each other.

They both went to the guest room and brought back a bed.After joining the beds, we all sat back and started watching the movie.
After the first movie, we watched Enchanted then we were mid-way through The Perks Of Being A Wallflower when everyone was getting sleepy.

I turned off Netflix and retired to bed with the others.
Ethan had to wake up early tomorrow in order not to miss the flight.
I slept in the middle with Elsie and Ethan and Bennett were at the sides, Ethan at my side on the left and Bennett at Elsie's side on the right.
Ethan placed his hands around me and covers all of us with a large comfy blanket.
I would really muss him when he travels.I'd really miss him! Really!
