Everything was decked up...why wouldn't it be TV's most adorable bahu is getting married today

Omkara, Kunal and Avinash were waiting for Gauri and Shrenu...Omkara was talking to someone when he saw someone ascending from the stairs...He shifts his gaze towards the stairs to see Gauri walking with Shrenu

Gauri makes Shrenu sit on the chair while Avinash sits beside her much to Kunal's discomfort.

Gauri: "chalo toh fir Haldi ki rasam shuru karte hai."

Kunal looks at Gauri in disbelief...Shrenu's mother moves forward the haldi

But she on purpose bums into Kunal and the Haldi scatters all over his face

Om (Acting): "Arrey Kunal tu theek toh hai na...aacha ab haldi gir gayi hai toh lagi rahene de panditji ne kaha tha ki beech mein uth ke nhi ja sakhte."

Kunal: "Theek hai."

Shrenu's mother goes towards Shrenu and applies Haldi then her father goes and applies Haldi...Then RiKara both move forward and apply haldi together

Kunal: "Aunty Avinash ko koi kyu nhi haldi laga raha?"

All look at Kunal tensed

Avinash: "Wo..Woh kya hai na Kunal ki tujhe toh pata hai na meri allergy problems mujhe kuch dino pehle pata chala ki mujhe Haldi se allergy hai."

Kunal not fully satisfied nods and OmRi were giggling

(Since I don't know much about Gujarati Weddings I decided to add a little Punjabi tadka to it.)

Shrenu's Mother: "Gauri, Omkara tum dono leke aane wale the na Chura toh kaha hai woh."

Gauri: "Ek minute Aunty."

Gauri goes towards a table and comes with a box...Omkara covers Shrenu's eyes...Gauri opens the box

Shrenu's Mother: "Bohat sundar hai ab Shrenu ko pehna do."

Gauri nods and dips the chooda in milk and then makes Shrenu wear it...Omkara was still covering her eyes...Gauri pulls out a handkerchief and ties it over the Chooda...and then ties the Raksha dhaga...Omkara removes his hands from Shrenu's eyes.

Om: "Chalo ab Shrenu Kunal tum dono ja ke naha lo and fir taiyaar ho jao."

Shrenal leave to take a shower...All the guest left...OmRi left as well.

Evening (wedding)

OmRi's room

Omkara was getting ready when he saw Gauri entering the room still not ready

Omkara: "Gauri pehle taiyaar ho jao."

Gauri: "haan Om bas woh kuch kam tha main abhi taiyaar hoke aati hoon."

Gauri goes to the bathroom

After Half an Hour

Gauri moves out of the Bathroom...setting the veil on top her head

Omkara looked at Gauri shocked

Om: "Gauri."

Gauri: "Om ab batao hum kaise lag rahe hai."

Omkara doesn't say anything but just steps forward towards Gauri...Gauri moves back and hits the wall...Gauri was now pinned to the wall

Om (near her earlobe): "Qayamat lag rahi ho...If you don't mind can I kiss you?"

Gauri looks at Omkara shied and then nods her head lightly...Omkara lifts her head by her chin and removes the huge Nose ring vigorously and takes her lips into his...Both kiss intensely...Omkara bits her lips her causing them to go numb his hands were travelling up and down on her waist and Gauri's hands were in his silky, smooth, beautiful locks...When Omkara bits her lips Gauri fist his hair making him growl. Both head towards the bed...Gauri on top of Omkara...Both break the kiss...Both were breathing heavily.

Gauri moves Om's hair stand behind his ear...and giggles...Omkara archs his brows.

Gauri: "humari position pe hasi aa rahi hai...ab toh teenagers ke tarah behave kar rahe hai...chalo ab chalte hai."

Om giggles and Gauri got off from the bed...Omkara puts her Nose ring back on...Gauri fixes her Veil...Gauri wraps her hands around Omkara's upper arm...Both leave for Shrenu's room

Shrenu's hotel room

Shrenu's look (same makeup, jewellery, hair)👆🏻

Shrenu was checking her self in the mirror when OmRi enter...Shrenu smiles at them...Gauri moves forward and hugs Shrenu.

Gauri: "Finally ab tu Mrs.Shrenu Kunal Jaisingh banegi."

Shrenu blushes...Om was about to say something when the door burst open and Kunal marches towards Shrenu and holds her by her shoulders.

Kunal: "Shrenu kya tum sach mein shadi kar rahi ho."

Shrenu looks at Gauri

Shrenu: "haan main sach mein shadi kar rahi hoon."

Kunal: "Lekin kyu tumne toh kaha tha na ki tum mujhse pyar karti ho?"

Shrenu: "Lekin Kunal uske baad bhi toh tumne Bharati se engagement karli."

Kunal: "Haan Shrenu kyuki main confused tha."

Shrenu: "That doesn't mean ki tum usse Engagement karlo and announce kardo ke tum dono December mein shadi kar rahe ho."

Kunal: "Shrenu...dekho please yeh shadi cancel kardo."

Shrenu: "Kyu...main tumhari baat kyu mano, kya lagte ho tum mere, kya rishta hai humare."

Kunal (falls on his knees): "Pyar ka rishta...Main Tumse pyar karta hoon Shrenu...I love you and main tumhe Avinash ke saath nahi dekh sakhta mujhe farak padta hai Shrenu because I am deeply and madly in love with you and haan main manta hoon ki maine apni engagement Bharti se Karli thi lekin maine uss din ke baad kabhi bhi woh engagement ring nahi peheni...and main apni feelings ko leke confused tha mujhe tab realize nahi hoha ki main tumse pyar karta hoon...please Shrenu yeh shadi rokh do and mujhse shadi karlo."

OmRiRenu were standing with tears in their eyes...Shrenu wipes her tears and lifts Kunal up and hugs him tightly...Gauri puts her head and on Omkara's chest and one hand on his chest and the other around his waist...Omkara had his hand around Gauri's waist and the other stroking her hair.

Shrenu (in the hug): "Duffer finally tujhe samag aa gaya...and main Avinash se nahi tujhse shadi kar wali hoon."

Kunal looks at them confused

Gauri: "Shrenu ke kehne ka Matlab hai ki Avinash se nhi Shrenu ki shadi tere se ho rahi hai...Engagement mein lights off ho jana humara plan tha...haldi tere upar girna woh bhi humara plan tha...yeh sab humne tujhe jealous feel karne keliye kiya and haan woh cards the woh 6 cards he the jin pe Avinash ka naam likha tha and real cards pe tumhara naam likha tha...Sunil uncle, Poonam aunty hum sab mile hohe the."

Kunal's jaws drop

Kunal: "Ri tujhe toh main nahi choodon ga...meri shadi ho lene de."

Om: "haan ab yeh sab rona dona band karo warna inn ladies ka makeup karab ho jayega."

OmNal laugh...Gauri smacks Omkara's chest and Shrenu smacks Kunal's head

Gauri: "Ab jaa KJ aur jaa ke taiyaar ho ja teri sherwani tere kamre mein hai and fir tujhe hum mandap mein bula lege."

Kunal nods and leaves to get dressed...OmRi hug Shrenu...Gauri gives something to Shrenu

Shrenu looks at Gauri confused

Gauri: "Well tumhare jo yeh Omkara bhaiya hai na unko apni pyari behen ko gift dena tha toh yeh tumhare liya."

Shrenu: "lekin bhaiya yeh to kitna expensive hoga."

Om (cups her face): "Lekin meri behen se zaada toh nahi...ab isse rakho and main aur Chennai Express ja ke shadi ki vidi shuru kar wate hai."

Shrenu nods and OmRi leave for the mandap

Venue

OmRi were helping panditji

Panditji: "ab Var aur vadhu ko bulae muhrat nikla ga raha hai."

OmRi nod...Gauri goes to get Shrenu and Omkara goes to get Kunal

After some while

Kunal enters with Omkara by his side

Kunal's look 👆🏻

Kunal comes and sits and starts the var vidies

Panditji: "ab vadhu ko bulale."

Gauri enters with Shrenu and makes her sit beside...Shrenal do the vidies

Panditji: "ab sab var mala keliye kade ho jaye."

Pandit: "phele vadhu var ko var mala pehnegi."

Shrenu makes Kunal wear the varmala...all clap

pandit: "ab var vadhu ko varmala pehnege"

before Kunal could move forward...Omkara and Shubham lift Shrenu on their shoulders...Kunal tries hard but fails every time...everyone laughs...Omkara and Shubham put Shrenu down and Kunal makes her wear the var mala...all clap...Shrenal sit down...Panditji starts chanting the mantras

Panditji: "kanyadaan keliye ladki ke pita ya bhai ko aage bule."

Shrenu's father moves forward and keeps his daughter's hand on Kunal's hand.

Shrenu's father: "meri beti ko koi bhi problem nahi honi chiya and agar uski aankhon mein ek bhi aanso dikha na toh mujhse bura koi nahi hoga."

Kunal chuckles at his father-in-law's sweet threat

Kunal: "I promise uncle...I mean papa ki main Shrenu ko humesha khush rakhoga."

Panditji: "ab gatbandan keliye koi aage aaye."

OmRi move forward and do the gatbandan...Panditji start chanting the mantras

Panditji: "ab var vadhu ko mangalsutra pehnega."

Gauri moves forward with the mangalsutra:

Kunal makes Shrenu wear the mangalsutra

Panditji: "ab var vadhu ki maang mein sindoor barega."

Gauri moves forward and lifts Shrenu's maang tikka and Kunal applies Vermillion...Gauri moves back Panditji starts chanting mantras again

Panditji: "ab var vadhu pehreo keliye kadhe ho jaye."

Kunal and Shrenu stand up and take vows and do the pehre...everyone showers them with rose petals and flowers

For the First Vow, Kunal promises: "om esha ekapadi bhava iti prathaman" meaning 'You will offer me food and be helpful in every way. I will cherish you and provide welfare and happiness for you and our children'. Shrenu complies in return: "dhanam dhanyam pade vadet"' I am responsible for the home and all household, food and finance responsibilities'. Concisely, the bride and groom promise each other prosperity by fulfilling their respective roles in their lives.

For the Second Vow, Kunal says: "om oorje Jara dastayaha", meaning 'Together we will protect our house and children'. Shrenu in return promises "kutumburn rakshayishyammi sa aravindharam", which translates as 'I will be by your side as your courage and strength. I will rejoice in your happiness. In return, you will love me solely'.

During the Third Vow, Kunal says, "om rayas santu joradastayaha" by which he means 'May we grow wealthy and prosperous and strive for the education of our children and may our children live long.' In return, Shrenu promises, "tava bhakti as vadedvachacha", meaning 'I will love you solely for the rest of my life, as you are my husband. Every other man in my life will be secondary. I vow to remain chaste'.

During the Fourth Vow, Kunal declares "om mayo bhavyas jaradastaya ha" by which he means 'You have brought sacredness into my life, and have completed me. May we be blessed with noble and obedient children' In return for this promise, Shrenu says "lalayami cha pade vadet", by which she means, 'I will shower you with joy, from head to toe. I will strive to please you in every way I can'.

For the Fifth Vow, Kunal says, "om prajabhyaha santu jaradastayaha", which means 'You are my best friend and staunchest well-wisher. You have come into my life, enriching it. God bless you'. To this Shrenu says, "arte arba sapade vadet" or 'I promise to love and cherish you for as long as I live. Your happiness is my happiness, and your sorrow is my sorrow. I will trust and honour you, and will strive to fulfill all your wishes'.

During the Sixth Vow, Kunal asks, "Rutubhyah shat padi bhava" which means 'Now that you have taken six steps with me, you have filled my heart with immense happiness. Will you do the kindness of filling my heart with happiness like this for all times?' to this Shrenu replies, "yajna hom shashthe vacho vadet" meaning 'I will always be by your side'.

For the Last and Seventh Vow, Kunal says "Om sakhi jaradastayahga", by which he proclaims 'We are now husband and wife and are one. You are mine and I am yours for eternity.' Shrenu accepts this proclamation and says "Attramshe sakshino vadet pade", which means 'As God is the witness, I am now your wife. We will love, honour and cherish each other forever.'

Panditji: "Vivah sampan hoha."

Everyone celebrates and Shrenal head to take everyone's blessing...Shrenal go to Kunal's parents first...then bend down and take their blessings

Sunil and Poonam: "Khush raho."

Poonam: "aur haan Kunal agar tumne meri beti ko tang kiya na toh tumhe ghar se bhar nekal doongi."

Kunal: "Mom Shrenu ke aate hi party change ab aap Shrenu ki side main ho."

Sunil: "sirf Poonam hi nahi main bhi Gauri ki side pe hoon."

Kunal pouts...all laugh at him...Shrenal then move to Shrenu's parents and seek their blessings

SP's parents (while hugging Shrenal): "God bless you both."

Then Shrenal seek the blessing of all the elder's blessing...and then go to RiKara...they were about to touch RiKara's feet when RiKara stopped them.

Om: "yeh tum dono kya kar rahe ho?"

Shrenal look at each other and smile and then look at RiKara

Shrenu: "Aaj aap dono ki wajah se hum dono ek hai...bhagwaan kare apki jodi Shiv-Parvatiji ki jodi ki tarah ho...and hum bhi chate hai ki humari married life bhi aap dono jaisi ho."

Gauri: "lekin uske lie tum hum dono ko hug kar sakhte ho yaar itne bhi buddhe nahi hai hum dono ki seedha pair touch karo."

All laugh...OmRi hug Shrenal

Gauri: "aacha ab tum dono ja ke change karlo thodi hi der mein reciption bhi hai."

Shrenal nod...All the guest leave to change for Reception...OmRi and Shrenal also go to their Hotel rooms.
