Magic academy
This is just in the slightest bit similar to Harry Potter. But only in one way. The students are separated into houses.
Choose a house
Radiant:
-(not entirely) friendly rivalry with Vespertine
-choose an extra combat class
-referred to as Paladins, heroes, and Knights
Vespertine:
-(not entirely) friendly rivalry with radiant
-choose an extra stealth class
-referred to as spies and assassins
Obcultus:
-secretive
-choose an extra magic class
-referred to as mages or mad scientists
Regillus:
-natural leaders
-choose an extra leadership class
-tend to become known as kings, presidents or (if all else fails) warlords
Medeor:
-peaceful
-choose an extra magic class
-known as doctors, clerics and healers
Exultantis:
-just want to have fun
-choose an extra arts and crafts class
-known as entertainers, artists, or just boozehounds
Acritas:
-really strong
-choose a free combat class
-known as soldiers, Martial artists, and street fighters
Conclamatus:
-first thought in situation is own survuval
-choose an extra survival class
Classes for 4 years, choose six classes per year, extra classes can make it seven classes per year.
Taking the same class for multiple years will increase proficiency. Proficiency levels are basic, intermediate, adept, and master. Classes are divided into 6 categories: combat, stealth, magic, and arts and crafts.
Combat classes
Martial arts:
-basic fighting
Swordplay:
-understand the difference in different swords
Small arms:
-skills with different kinds of guns
Shields:
-self explanatory
Archery:
-not only the basic but trick shots with bows.
Heavy weapons:
-large projectiles
Blunt weapons:
-maces, flails, hammers, clubs, staffs and lances
-mounted and un mounted training
Edged weapons:
-train with all bladed weapons
Explosives:
-handling, arming, detonation, disarming, and disposal
Stealth classes
Concealment:
-move silently in any terrain, vanish into shadows, hide in plain sight, shadow a person without being noticed.
Poisoning:
-learn to craft, use, and (when possible) cure poisons.
-lethal and non lethal effects, identify poisons, build up an immunity to poisons
Disguise:
-train to craft a convincing disguise
Camouflage:
-receive training in the crafting of near invisible camo, using only the environment.
Distractions:
-craft smoke and flash bombs
Observations:
-train to memorize the contents of a room in a single glance, notice the smallest detail in your environment, and memorize the position of every single object in a room.
Acrobatics:
-increase your flexibility and dexterity.
Magic classes
Summoning:
-train to summon the most fantastic creatures from far existing planes of existence.
Alchemy:
-purify, combine, and perfect materials.
Assuagism:
-close wounds, knit bones, cure diseases, and naturalize poisons.
-masters can resurrect the dead.
Enchantment:
-forge weapons and armor, and infuse other objects with other magics you know.
Pisonics:
-learn telekinesis, telepathy, mind control and more.
-don't overuse, or you can damage yourself
Transfiguration:
-learn to modify the bodies of animals and humans, allowing for shapeshifting and cosmetic alterations.
-masters can alter traits on a genetic level
Worldwalking:
-all students are taught the basics of this, this class can teach you to how to make small pocket dimensions and more
Druidism:
-learn to communicate and control plants and animals
-masters can curse others with lycanthropy
Illusions:
-learn to fool all senses
-higher proficiency allows more complex illusions
Leadership classes
Negotiation:
-maintain the upper hand in any negotiation
Communication:
-learn to give a clever speech
Sociology:
-study the nature of humans in groups
Strategy:
-gain an understanding of battlefield supply logistics and personnel deployment
Carriage:
-train to project an air of dignity
Survival classes
Wilderness:
-learn the skills to survive in all average environments
-learn to make tools and build shelters
-identify edible plants
Desert/Artic:
-learn the skills to survive in extreme environments
-how to find food, water, and shelter in barren landscapes
-how to navigate featureless environments
Intuition:
-train to develop your gut instincts
-prevent yourself from being caught off guard
Pain control:
-learn a series of meditation techniques that will allow you to control how much you feel pain
-when wounded, you'll be able to function as if un injured
Extreme temperatures:
-go through a series of magic trials to help you develop immunity to extreme temperatures
-by the end, you'll be able to casually stroll through an active volcano
Immunity:
-a master necromancer will perform a long series of enchants on you, creating a virus colony that will destroy any invading bacteria or viruses in your body
Arts and craft classes
Music:
-learn to read and compose music
Acting:
-learn to effectively memorize lines and emotions
Dance:
-train in various dances
Art:
-learn to draw, paint, sculpt, write manga and comics, etc...
Cooking:
-learn to cook like a master chef
Extracurricular clubs
You may only participate in up to two clubs. They are not part of the seven classes. A limited number of people may join each club.
Student council:
-make rules for the school and approves the rules of other clubs
Disciplinary committee:
-enforces the rules
Festival committee:
-each year there are five festivals (create the budget, plan, and execute the plan.)
Occult club:
-researches aliens, cryptids, and ancient magic
Band:
- rock band or school band
-rock band produces more modern music
-school band is produces more classics
