"C-can I see him?" I asked.

"I-I don't know I'll um...go ask the doctors." He said and left leaving just Johnny and I.

"Hey Johnny." I smiled.

"How come you didn't answer you're window last night?" He asked.

"I went to bed early." I lied.

I could lie so good it scared me sometimes.

"Oh. I hope Darrys okay."

"Me too Johnny...and it doesn't help knowing I caused it...but thanks for finding him Johnny if it wasn't for you I would never even get a chance to see my brother again."

Johnny's face lit up as he looked at me. He opened his mouth to speak but before he could say anything Soda and a doctor walked in with a wheel chair.

They got me in it and I already feel so helpless...I just wanted to get up and run on my own. Stupid church.

I was wheeled into the room and the doctor left and there lays Darry lying awake.
