Third-person pov

Mia changed out of her cafe apron uniform and said goodbye to her boss before she walked out of the cafe. Her backpack jiggled on her back, the charms clinking together as she quickly sped away from the cafe. It was later on in the day and the sky was a peaceful orange colour though Mia found herself unable to admire it. Her pace eventually slowed when she considered herself to be far enough away and she found herself just down the road from the Matsuno household. "Maybe I'll pay them a visit." Mia said to herself but her body didn't move when she told it to.

Would I be intruding?

I don't want to bother them...

As she contemplated this, a certain purple hooded Matsu walked up behind her. "M-Mia?" Ichimatsu got her attention and she quickly turned around, obviously flustered. "Ichimatsu! I was just thinking about coming to see you and the others!" She laughed nervously, shocked by his sudden appearance.

"They're all at the horse races. It's just me. Sorry to disappoint." Ichimatsu said, looking away. "You're not disappointing me! It's just as fun to hang out with you alone." Ichimatsu's heart skipped a beat as he went bright red. He nodded and they both walked over to the household. Ichimatsu slid the door open and called out that he was home, expecting his mother to reply back but he received nothing. It was weird not hearing any noises coming from the household. Usually, it was so lively but now it was just silent.

Ichimatsu led Mia upstairs and sat her down on the couch she had been on when they first met. She patted the spot next to her and gestured for Ichimatsu to come and sit down next to her. He hesitantly complied, nervous about being alone with her. Usually, when she came round there was always at least one other brother there but now it was just him. "What ya wanna do Ichimatsu?" She asked, her smile calming the mans racing heart.

"We could watch some youtube videos..." He held up the family laptop and Mia's face lit up. "Perfect! Whilst you set it up, do you want me to make some tea?" Ichimatsu granted Mia access to the kitchen and he began to set up the laptop as she walked downstairs.

I'm alone with her... Ichimatsu's mind went back to when he caught her and felt her body against his.  He smirked, drool coming out of his mouth. I don't think I'll ever get to feel that again but at least I can be alone with her today...

Suddenly, a small 'meow' was heard and a grey cat jumped into the room through the ajar window. He'd seen this cat before and really wanted to pet it but he knew Mia would return soon. "Maybe she'll enjoy feeding you?" Ichimatsu murmured towards the animal as he grabbed the food he kept for cats. Mia returned to the room not long after with two cups in her hands. "I hope you don't mind that I made coffee for myself. I've always been more of a coffee person which I know haha the half British person doesn't want tea but..." Mia's voice trailed off as she looked up and saw the feline in Ichimatsu's arms.

"So is this one of the cats you feed?" Mia asked, setting the cups aside and sitting down next to Ichimatsu. He simply nodded, petting the animal gently as it purred with affection. "You really love cats don't ya?" She asked as she picked up her cup and downed her coffee in a few gulps. "Yeah. They're perfect." Ichimatsu looked over at Mia and couldn't help but smile as she looked at the cat with such a cute expression. She's also perfect...

Everything became calm and peaceful after that. Both forgot about watching the videos and instead just chatted, enjoying each others company. It was beginning to get late and Ichimatsu could tell Mia was getting quite tired. Her eyes were fluttering, half-lidded and Ichimatsu found it completely adorable though he'd never admit it. He tried to keep his eye's focused on petting the cat which was now relaxing on his lap but he couldn't help sneaking peeks at the girl beside him.

Then it happened. 

He felt a small amount of pressure hit his side and turned to see Mia had fallen asleep, leaning on his arm. Ichimatsu was paralysed. He didn't know whether to wake her up or set her down. He felt steam physically coming from his ears as he weighed in his options. 

She seemed like she needed the rest and he didn't want to wake her, yet he also didn't want her to be asleep leaning on him when his brothers came home cause that was just a recipe for disaster.

The cat at this moment decided to jump off his lap and back out the window, leaving him alone with the sleeping girl. It was as if it knew the panic he was going through internally and decided it didn't want to be involved. After at least ten minutes of his heart beating incredibly fast, Ichimatsu decided the latter option of setting her down was probably the best option for his hearts health and slowly got up. She fell softly down onto the couch, still fast asleep. Ichimatsu frigidly turned and looked at the girls sleeping form. Her face was so calm, unlike the cheerful face he'd seen only an hour before.

I don't want my brothers to see this face. It's a memory I only want to have... He smiled, something he rarely did with others and picked up the girl. He put her on his back and set out to take her home, making sure that when he exited the house his brothers were nowhere in sight. He'd carried his brothers home before after a night of drinking so carrying the girl wasn't too difficult.  Though he did note she was a lot...curvier than his brothers.

He hurried to Mia's and after waking her up, she let herself into the flat. Not before she apologised profusely for having him carry her all the way. She thanked Ichimatsu and gave him a hug to say goodbye. As Ichimatsu walked back home, he reflected on these new feelings.
