Third-person pov

Mia had always been particularly good with hangovers. She got a headache and maybe a belly ache but most of the time that was the end of her suffering. She also was lucky enough to never experience blackouts in which she forgot the events of the night. So when she woke up a few days ago after her night out with Osomatsu, needless to say, she was more than shocked. It was now the weekend and she still hadn't managed to get it out of her mind.

She was trying to clean the living room but found herself stopping every now and then, Osomatsu's voice from that night echoing in her mind. "Did you enjoy our date baby?"

"AHHHH!" She slapped her hands into her face."He called me babe...Does he like me? Or was it just him being his usual mischievous self?" The end of the night flashed into her mind again as it had many times since that day. I CAN'T BELIEVE I KISSED HIM...

Mia sighed and tried to keep cleaning. She would never actually say what she thought. She was too embarrassed to even accept the thought in her head. But in the back of her mind, she knew one thing. 

She didn't regret that kiss.

After a while the living room was clean and she flopped down onto the couch, feeling slightly bored. Jax had buggered off out leaving her alone in the flat with nothing to do. Suddenly there was a knock at the door and Mia jumped up. Did Jax have a package coming?

She looked down at her outfit which consisted of a baggy flannel shirt and black leggings. Meh I look tolerable. She walked over to the door and opened it to find the second eldest Matsuno brother, a guitar case on his back and dressed in his leather jacket and sunglasses. "Ah my honey! You are looking particularly beautiful today."  He winked his smile wide. I suddenly do not feel like I look tolerable anymore...

"Karamatsu, come on in!" She invited him in and he removed his shoes. "How come you're here?" Mia asked as she went over to pour him some tea. "Ah Jax offered to practice some guitar today! I am ready to grace the world with my beautiful sound!" He let out a laugh. 

"He's not here though. He went out." Mia looked sadly at the boy who looked almost heartbroken. "Oh...Maybe he forgot..."

Mia felt her heart ache as she looked at his sad expression. It physically hurt to see him look so down. "You could always practice with me? I'm not as good as Jax but--" Before she could even finish her sentence Karamatsu had jumped to his feet, his guitar somehow suddenly out of its case and in his hand. "I would love to see you play my Karamatsu girl!" 

Mia giggled at his over the top personality and went to grab her guitar from her room. The guitar had a sticker of the skull mascot from Gorillaz on, though Karamatsu didn't recognise this at all. "What songs do you usually play?" The girl asked as she stretched her fingers for playing. 

"I usually play my own creations on the roof of our house! Sometimes I'm a lone wolf, playing for only the sky to hear and other times my dear brother Jyushimatsu joins me!" He continued on, talking about what he played, even at one point playing a small song about him being a sextuplet. Mia just watched, enjoying his company. She didn't get why people hated the way he was, she found it to be quite adorable.

"Play me something my honey~" Karamatsu sang out to Mia, causing her to blush slightly. I'm going to die if he keeps calling me honey... "Okay. I'll play this." She took a deep breath, her hands shaking slightly from nerves. She glanced up at Karamatsu and his eyes were filled with anticipation. I don't want to look like an idiot in front of him...I hope I don't mess up...

She began to play a slow tune, eventually feeling her nerves dissipate as she got lost in the music. The song was simple enough, not being too difficult to play and being quite short in length. Karamatsu could only watch with fondness in his eyes as his crush played the melancholic melody, her eyes half-lidded and focused on the strings. She looks so beautiful...

The last note was played and the girl looked back up at Karamatsu, her face slightly pink. "What do you think? It's a soundtrack from one of my favourite shows. I just always thought it sounded pretty." She bashfully rubbed the back of her head, not looking him in the eyes. Karamatsu took a second before he began to sputter out a response. "I-It was stunning my b-beauty! My soul feels as though it has been brightened by your wonderful performance!" He tried to sound like his usual confident self, but he couldn't help but stutter slightly.

"It wasn't that good Kara." She laughed, her face red from his compliments. 

They continued to talk and practice all afternoon, Karamatsu mostly playing songs he had made up on his own. Whenever he played those songs to his brothers, they would call him painful and walk away, yet Mia stayed and cheered him on. She'd be honest with him when she thought there could be some improvements and he appreciated that more than anything.

It was getting later in the afternoon when Mia asked if Karamatsu knew how to play any songs from bands he knew. He thought for a moment. Sure he knew how to play a few popular songs but which one would he pick to play for his sweet flower. He wanted to impress her so much. He wanted to win her heart.

"I know what to play." He shot a bashful look over to Mia before placing his hands over the strings. He began to play and instantly a large smile fell onto Mia's face. She knew the song all too well. Who didn't?

"Here comes the sun, here comes the sun and I say, it's all alright." Karamatsu looked up and nearly stopped playing with shock. He didn't expect her to start singing along! He quickly collected himself and kept playing, wanting to hear more of that sweet voice. 

"Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter, little darling, it feels like years since it's been here." Karamatsu had never felt so in love staring at the girl before him. 

We're dueting together... Her voice is so pretty. I never want this to end.

"Here comes the sun, here comes the sun and I say, it's all alright." 

"Little darling, the smile's returning to their faces, little darling, it seems like years since it's been here." 

"Here comes the sun, here comes the sun and I say, it's all alright."  Mia felt herself moving closer to Karamatsu as she sang. She was embarrassed but her impulse to sing along was more powerful. Her heart was pounding in her chest and her whole body felt warm and fuzzy. These Matsuno boys will be the death of me...

As they began to sing the bridge, Karamatsu joined in, their voices blending together in beautiful harmony. His voice...him singing in English...fuck.

"Sun, sun, sun, here it comes. Sun, sun, sun, here it comes. Sun, sun, sun, here it comes..." Slowly both of them looked up at each other, their voices halting as they realised how close their faces were. Karamatsu's fingers stopped moving against the strings, plunging them into silence as they stared into each other's eyes. Both their minds were racing and before they could even think about it, their lips were pressed together.

It was short-lived as they slowly pulled apart again, both with half-lidded eyes and red flushed faces. "Mia.." 

Suddenly the front door opened and Mia jumped up in shock. "K-K-KARAMASTU!" She couldn't believe what just happened. I KISSED KARAMATSU! 

"Mia! Oh and Karamatsu. What you guys up to?" Jax kicked his shoes off and walked in, a smirk on his face. "G-Guitar practice!!!" Karamatsu gave a weak smile, his face crimson red. "Y-Y-You went out after promising to hang out with him you d-dick!" Mia stuttered, unsure where to put herself. Jax gave a small apology, saying he completely forgot.

I kissed Karamatsu..after kissing Osomatsu a few days ago... What am I doing? I'm terrible! It's bad enough that I like them all at the same time but this...

Mia looked over at Karamatsu but instantly looked away, feeling too embarrassed to even see his face. "You've got work tomorrow right?" Jax said, causing Mia to nod quickly. "Y-Yeah! I need to shower and all." She worked up the courage to turn around and gave Karamatsu a quick hug. "Thanks for today. It was fun."  The boy only gave a small nod in response, his heart feeling like it was gonna beat out of his chest. She pulled away, grabbed her guitar and quickly escaped into her room. 

Once the door closed Karamatsu grabbed his things and was led to the door by Jax. "Thanks for h-helping me today Jax." Jax nodded in response. "You like her. It's clear as anything. I trust you guys not to be dicks about this." As he said that last part he shot a glare at the other guy, causing him to nod nervously. "Y-Yeah we already all talked about it as brothers." Jax nodded and said goodbye as Karamatsu left. 

He turned back and looked at the door. He could tell those boys genuinely felt something for his best friend and trusted them to try and win her over fairly. 

Just wanna hear Karamatsu sing. Also the soundtrack Mia plays on guitar is from Doctor who. As much as everyone has their own opinions on the 12th Doctor, Clara and his run on the show, I always thought his acting was some of the best and that soundtrack 'Clara's Diner' was brilliant.
