Flashback *Yukino pov*

The sound of running feet echoed through the forest. The sound of me breathing heavily was the only thing that I could hear. I wanted to turn back to see if I was being followed but I didn't. If I did it could mean my death.

"Hurry!! She couldn't have gotten far!!" I heard a voice in the distance. Shit!!

"I gotta find a place to stay." I said as I continued running. I came to a small field where two cloaked figured stood. I noticed it had the same cloak as mine so I appoached with caution.

"I knew we would meet again." My eyes narrowed as I took out a kunai.

"Who are two and what do you guys want?" I asked as I looked back to make sure I wasn't followed out here.

"Well I wouldn't expect you to remember since we met about a month or two ago." I looked at the person on the right and glared. They turned to face me and my eyes widened.

"Itachi? Itachi Uchiha?" I asked as I stood in front of him.

"In the flesh. Nice to see you again Yukino Sara." He said with a smirk on his face. I was about to say something when I heard people shouting in the distance.

"Shit!! They found me!!" I shouted as I started to run again. However...

"Come with me. Kisame distract them." Itachi said as he grabbed my arm. He didn't give me to react as he had dragged me across the field. I looked back and noticed the ninjas where following. Shit!! I only have one way out of this!!

"Itachi! Hold on to me and don't let go!!" I shouted as I ran ahead of him. I picked up my speed and jumped into the air. Itachi quickly wrapped his arms around me as I started to fly. I looked at him and noticed he was smirking.

"You know, you look even prettier up close." He said as he winked at me. I rolled my eyes at him and continued to fly.

"Where to?" I asked as flew over the Hidden Sand Village.

"Here is fine though I suggest you lose the cloak since these,people don't really like the Akatsuki." He replied with a smile. I flew us down and took off my cloak. I sealed it inside a scroll and looked over at him.

He had also done the same but he took out a plain black cloak and put it on. His tied his hair into a high ponytail and took his head protector off. He looked over at me and quickly looked away with a blush?

"Well I feel out of place." He said as he walked in front of me. I looked down at my outfit which was a black skirt with knee high ninja boots. I had a blue shirt that was ripped from the back and on top of that was a black leather jacket.

I looked back at Itachi and shook my head.

"Boys."

Once we reached the village we were greeted by guards. They tried to stop us but Itachi simply looked into their eyes and they let us through. I looked up at him and noticed him looking down at me.

"Something on my face?" I asked as I walked in front of him. I tried to cover a faint blush that was starting to form on my face.

"Hn."

"Uchihas." I mumbled as I rolled my eyes. "So why did you want me to bring you here in the first place?" I asked as I looked at people walking by us. The sound of children playing echo through the streets as they laughed and screamed of joy. I frowned.

I have always been alone. No place to call home. My parents went missing after a mission while I was being chased by creeps like Orochimaru. I have no one.

"And why do you say that?" I jumped at Itachi's voice since his face was so close to my ear. I pushed him back and walked a little bit ahead of him.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I said as I looked around for a weapons shop since I remembered that I needed to restock.

"You said that you have no one. What did you mean by that?" I cursed at myself and turned to face him.

"Just like it sounds I'm on my own. Always have been and always will be. Now hurry up and do whatever you came to do." I said before turning around again and looking for the shop.

"Yuki-"

"Hey!! Stop you brats!" A man working in the fruit booth shouted cutting Itachi off.

"But we're just asking for food!" A little girl yelled back. Her long blue hair covered most of her face but not to a point where you couldn't see her purple eyes.

"Get lost kid! Once you have money then came back and I'll give you food." The man said as he pushed the little girl on the ground.

"HEY!!" The man turned to look at me and glared. I glared back but with much more hatred making him back down. "What do you think you're doing to a child!"

"A c-child!? Why, this thing here is a street rat who only steals from people!" The man shouted. He looked at me then glared at the girl.

"Well you're no better. I suggest you change the way you view people like her unless you want me to tell Gaara that his people are treating each other wrongly?" I replied with a smirk. The man just scoffed and rolled his eyes

"He wouldn't do anything to me." The man said as he crossed his arms.

"Are you sure?" A deep raspy voice asked. The man tensed as I smirked at him.

"Gaara." I said with a nod.

"Yukino." He looked at me then at Itachi. "I see you brought someone with you this time." He said sending a playful glare at me. I rolled me eyes playfully and pointed at the little girl.

"She wanted food but the man just wants money. And as for why I have someone with me, well you see Orochimaru hasn't left me alone since day one. So he helped me out and now we're just passing through your village to get some supplies." I explained while Gaara used his sand to trap the man. He grabbed the little girl's dirty hand and smiled at her.

"Well I should probably get this girl to my house and get her clean up. You two can stay as long as you want. However if this Akatsuki member does anything to harm my village-"

"Do worry Gaara. I got him wrapped around my finger." I said cutting him off.

"Don't ya mean that I got you wrapped my finger?" Itachi said as he smirked at me. I looked away blushing and punched him in the stomach as fast and hard as I could making him fall over.

"Oops! My hand slipped." I said as I walked away smiling.

"Same as ever Yukino." I heard Gaara say before disappearing with the child and the man.

"Come Itachi! We don't got all day to sit around and do nothing!" I shouted as I continued to walk away from him.

"You have some serious issues! You know that!" He shouted as he ran to catch up with me.

"Yeah and so do you." I said as I laughed. He let out a chuckle and put an arm around me.

"Then we're both crazy." He said as we continued to walk around the village.

End of Flashback

I came across an opened field with a figure standing in the middle.

"Far from home aren't ya?" The figure said. Guess by the voice it was male around his early thirties or last twenties.

"Could say the same about you." I replied as I started to walk around him.

"Well I do have a country to rule but first the map Yukino." His voice became darker towards the end. I glared at him and continued to walk.

"You're foolish if you think that getting the map will bring back your beloved." I said as I walked closer to where he was.

"Then why are you going?" I didn't answer. I just kept going as I was already pass him. "He's never come back you know." I ignored. "He's better off dead Yukino! He was nothing but a criminal! It-" I quickly dropped what I was dragging and place my hand around his pale neck. Sand shot up and made a spire that was pressing against my neck.

"You know, if you want to join him so badly then why don't you just let me kill you." He spoke as my grip tighten around him. His sand moved deeper as well drawing a little blood.

"I would have done so if it was for you Gaara." I spat. His sea foam green eyes stared into my aqua colored eyes.

"It can bring him back Yukino. You know that." He spoke calmly but softly as well.

"And how do you know that!? Have you tried before!? Huh!? Tell me Gaara!" I shouted. He just struggled in my grip. His sand moved deeper as well but I felt no pain there. Just in my chest where my heart should be.

"N-no... b-but my... f-f-fri...end N-Naruto has... tried...I-it d-didn't work..... w-w-with him..." Gaara said as he could breathe properly now. I picked him up and threw him across the field. His sand soon chased after him to catch him letting me breathe better as well.

"Only because it didn't work with your friend doesn't mean it won't work on me." I said as I walked away. I was about to pick up my bag when sand shot up again.

"Sand Bullets!" Gaara shouted as he stood forty feet away from me.

"I see you want to play that way. So be it." I said flying up into the sky. I looked down at Gaara and used the shadows around me and him to attack.

"Sand Dome!" Gaara shouted as he noticed the shadows.

"Idiot." I took out my bow and made and made an arrow out of the shadows. "You can't hide from me or protected yourself from my abilities!" I shouted as I released the arrow. The arrow flew down at him at a blinding speed and created a small crater. I flew away the area to see if Gaara was there, however, all I found was a sand clone.

"I know all your moves Yukino." Gaara said as I was floating on a pile of sand. I narrowed my eyes at him and made another arrow.

"Let me go Gaara! I don't want to kill you!" I warned. He just stared at me and smiled. "Gaara I mean it! Back down or I'll shoot and you know that you won't be able to dodge my arrow from this distance!!"

"Girls!!" My eyes widen as I looked down and notice his children watching us. How did I not noticed they were here!?

"Daddy!" A girl with red red just like his made in to ponytails shouted.

"It's okay Fugi! Daddy's fine!" Gaara shouted back without taking his eyes off me.

"Dad!" I looked down and remembered her from the time that me and Itachi went to the Sand Village.

"Mira. Let me guess baby Kuro is with them?" I said as I fixed my grip on the arrow.

"Of course. I couldn't leave them back there. I was planning on taking them to Naruto but he's busy with his own children and a country." Gaara explained. I nodded and put my bow and arrow down. The arrow disappeared as I flew down towards my dag . I grabbed it and continued to make way to the place I never wanted to go back to.

"Are you coming or not!" I spat as I continued walking.

"Hai! Girls give me your brother."

"Hai Daddy!!" I rolled my eyes as I I held my stomach.

"I'll see daddy soon princess." I whispered.
