Nikki's POV 

"Well you look like hell this morning"

"Thanks for that Brie you know how to cheer me up"

I took a seat at the kitchen counter a coffee prepped for me, my head was pounding it felt like drums being banged against my skull the only thing about having a night out is the hangover you suffer the next morning

"Where's Seth?"

"Eh he's just gone to see a friend"

I knew she was lying to me, I'm getting sick of her tip toeing around me 

"Brie if he as gone to see Roman just say it stop lying to me, I'm not going to stop Seth seeing him he's his friend just stop treating me like I'm going to lose my temper if you tell me the truth"

"Fine he's gone to see Roman"

"Then why didn't you just say that when I asked"

"You know I heard what you said to him last night"

"Yeah and?"

"I just never heard you being that harsh before"

"I might of been a bit harsh Brie but everything I said was the truth"

"Speaking of truth don't you think you should maybe tell him about you know what"

"No I don't think I should tell him Brie he doesn't deserve to know"

"Look Nik I know your hurting but-"

"Hurting! you have no idea how much I am hurting Brie, over a year ago I had everything, what was supposed to be the best day of my life turned in to the worst and when I left I had one thing in my life I was looking forward to and that was ripped away from me to so when I decide I want to tell him I will but until then he doesn't deserve to know, now if you don't I'm going back to bed"

"Back to bed it's after 12oclock"

"It's Sunday Brie"

Roman's POV

"So I take it Brie told you about last night then?"

"Yeah but let's be honest Roman are you surprised? she's still pretty hurt how did you expect her to react when she seen you"

"She knew she was going to see me at some point when she come back"

"Maybe you should stay clear from her for a while"

"Or maybe she just needs to accept the fact that I'm with Lana now"

Seth had a look on his face a look I knew all to well he wants to say something but thinking how I am going to react 

"I know that look Seth if you want to say something just say it"

"You broke her heart man do you really expect her to accept you've moved on with Lana? let me ask you something if it was the other way round she done that you, moved on that guy would you be able to accept it?"

"Yeah I think I would be able to"

"No you wouldn't Roman"

"Stop telling me if I would or I wouldn't Seth, look she might not want to accept it but she is just going to have to deal with it, I'm happy with Lana"

"Yeah whatever you say"

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"You want me to be honest? I don't think your happy with Lana at all"

"Of course I am I love her I prove it to here everyday"

"Oh come on Roman you don't have to have sex with someone everyday to prove it, I love Brie but I don't get home from work every night take her upstairs, I tell her I love her"

"So your an expert now are you? now your married"

"I'm not saying I'm an expert Roman but I know what it takes to make a relationship last and maybe if you kept it in your pants you would be married now"

"I'm happy with Lana accept it"

"You know what man you keep telling yourself that but I am going to tell you this  now that Nikki is back your gonna realise that you made the biggest mistake of your life letting that girl go and when you do its going to be to late because she'll have moved on and then what are you going to do"

"Whatever man"

"I'm gonna go I have a wife waiting for me at home, I don't know what's happened to you but your attitude as changed since you have been with her, you were never like this with Nikki I was actually good friends with that guy"

I leaned back on the couch after he left letting his words sink in, I scrolled through my phone coming across a picture I thought I deleted but obviously not

I continued to stare at the picture, I got lost in it until I heard the front door open I quickly knocked it off and threw my phone to the side, Seth's words still stuck in my head.
