"Why'd you drag me along?" Frisk growled.
"Cause, I heard it has the best views when you get on the top!" Corey countered her question.
"Ugh, fineeee.. as long as we get home for dinner..." Frisk sighed and pulled herself onto some rocks, following.
{Time Skip to where they are about to fall}
Corey slowed to a stop, "Woah!"
"W-what, what's wrong?!" Frisk asked and scrambled up to were he is, "Oh my Irene!"
A huge hole stood in front of them, a small strip of rock around it. The black, gaping hole seemed to of swallowed the earth and waited until something else would fall victim. Frisk slowly inched towards the edge and looked into the stretching abiss, "I can't see bottom..."
Corey frowned and looked at the small cat-walk of rock. "Come on!" He breaks out into a nervous grin and inched towards the rocks until he stood on it.
"C-Corey! Be careful!" Frisk hissed and carefully walked over as Corey started slowly stepping forward until he was halfway.
"Frisk, calm down! Just follow me," Corey said to the panicking red-head.
She huffed but slowly followed. Corey finally reached the end and turned to face her. Frisk looked worried as the terrain beneath her creaked and groaned to her weight. Frisk was extremely light but Corey had loosened the rocks. Frisk squeaked as the rocks crumbled slightly. Corey's confident look started to melt away, "Can you m-move alittle faster...?"
Frisk clenched her teeth in fear and started walking alittle more up-paced. It was too late now, she felt the ground start to shatter and threw her arms toward Corey. The blond boy grabbed her sleeve of her purpleish and blue sweater.
The ground heaved once then crumbled away, clattering against the sides. Corey tried to pull his friend back up, Frisk dangled from the simple hold of her sweater. Corey's hands began slipping, Frisk could tell and tightly closed her eyes.
Corey cried out as the last inch of fabric disappeared under his fingers. Frisk screamed, it felt like her cry hit him in the face and froze his blood. Frisk fell into the unknown dark, her scream dissipating into nothingness.
"No! NO NO NO! FRISK! FRISK?!" Corey started crying from his blue eye, his camera side showing nothing but emotionless-ness.
Corey quickly looked around, panicking. There was nothing to safely get down. "H-Hold on Frisk! I'm c-coming!" Corey said to the shadows.
Corey swung himself over the side and slid down the long wall. He's hands scraped on the rough and pointed rocks making the wall he was going down. His hands became scraped and bloody by the time he reached the bottom. He stumbled nod pushed off the way to stand. Strange light filled the cavern he stood in.
Corey instantly started to look around for his fallen companion. He saw flashes of purple, blue, and red in a patch of odd yellow flowers. He raced over and saw Frisk laying there limp. "F-F-Frisk!" Corey yelped and dropped down to crouch next to her.
He touched her wrist and before he could check her pulse or anything Frisk's fingers curled into a fist, Corey looked at her face and she blinked her eyes open. He let go of her wrist and instantly hugged her. "Oh my Irene! Frisk! Your okay!" Corey cried.
Frisk scrunch up her face slightly in pain. She looks over his shoulder since he's still hugging her.
A child their age stood silently. Silent, they made no sound at all, no breath, no anything. A small smirk appeared on their face, Frisk blinked and the person was gone. The child had a simple expression and an aura that left a empty dread in Frisk's stomach.
She didn't mention it, not yet, not now. As Corey pulled away from the hug she heard a tiny whisp of sound, not from Corey.
Fallen.
