Lee Felix

STAY Int. School
8:49 am

Minus the incident in the morning where Jisung was almost run over by a truck, it was a perfectly normal school day, until fourth period. Jisung was early to class so he sunk back into his seat and relaxed. He hummed the tune to a song he couldn't remember the name of, until the teacher, Mr. Yuchan walked in and greeted the students.

A couple of minutes flew past. Little did Jisung expect to see the one person he would've never expected, to barge into the room out of breath, with lilac swirls of hair sticking to his forehead.

Did Felix and I always share this class?

Mr. Yuchan folded his arms over his chest and frowned at the boy. "Felix, you barley made it on time." said the teacher sternly, earning a small apology from Felix. He was ushered to any empty seats available, and just then it hit Jisung that there was one by his side as well.

Jisung peeped over the other heads to catch Felix's attention, then proceeded to make weird noises along the lines of 'psst' and 'chkchkchk'. Luckily, Felix spotted him and immediately melted into a huge smile.

He collapsed into the seat and whispered, "We go to the same school?!" His voice and eyes held excitement like that of an innocent child, naturally causing Jisung to smile.

"I had no idea too.." Jisung replied, running his fingers through his blond hair.

"Then I should've just chased you when you ran away in the morning!" Felix chuckled.

Jisung cringed at the memory. He had left Felix just like that after the latter saved him. "I'm sorry about that.."

"All good, don't look so pouty! I might pinch your cheeks." Felix giggled, murmuring the last part to himself.

Jisung sighed. Not only did he find Felix's voice mismatching with his appearance, but it was the opposite of his loud and bubbly personality too. "Your voice is hella deep man, like, that's awesome.." Jisung admitted.

"Right? Do you like it?" Felix smiled proudly. "And you're cute." said Felix as he eyed Jisung, who shrunk back with red cheeks out of embarrassment. "How did I never see you before?"

"You two at the back, quiet down!"

Jisung flinched at the loud volume of his teacher as both Felix and him immediately snapped their heads to pay attention to the lesson.

But really, paying attention was almost impossible, and both boys knew that. When Felix would occasionally glance at Jisung with a little smirk, he'd catch the latter already looking at him then turn all flustered once he's caught staring; a sight Felix mentally swore was the cutest.

.

Right as the bell rung, Felix didn't waste a second to excitedly turn his whole attention to Jisung, who noticed and awaited expectantly.

"So can you like," Felix paused, a stupid smile plastered on his face. "Can we hang out? I mean- With my friend too! Well I'm sure Seungmin wouldn't mind, he's nice I promise. I'm just asking though, haha! I get it if you don't want to though..." He trailed off, but his eyes held hope.

Jisung broke out into a gummy grin. "Of course! There's no way I wouldn't want to.."

And as they headed to the cafeteria side by side, neither of their cheeks turned back to their normal colours, their soft red blush refusing to leave.

"I need to get something from the library," said Felix's friend, Seungmin. "So you two lovebirds can hang out together." He flashed a wink, grinning widely.

Upon seeing Jisung almost choke at the words, Felix was quick to elbow his friend, embarrassed. "Shut up and go Seungmo."

Seungmin raised his hands in defense as he chuckled at his red-faced friends. "Where's the lie though? Only a week and you guys are glued to each other. Couple goals, pretty much?" Seungmin shrugged. He swiftly brushed his hair back before turning to leave. "Alright see ya."

Once their friend was out of sight, Felix released a breath.

"Now you get what I mean when I say he's stupid?" whispered Felix as he tugged on Jisung's arm, signaling the other to walk with him. "He says stupid stuff. I hope you don't mind.."

Jisung couldn't resist a giggle. "No need to be so flustered, I don't really mind." He replied, feeling his cheeks catch fire at his own statement.

Once they were out in the school gardens, they slowed down. Felix skipped a few steps forward and turned around, now facing Jisung as he walked backwards. On his lips played a smirk he couldn't explain, returned by Jisung's own smile.

"Watch where you're going." said Jisung playfully, while the other shrugged in response.

"I'd rather watch you." With a wink, Felix grinned, immediately noticing the blond's cheeks flush.

Soon, they reached their new favourite spot; the bench that faced the massive school building. Both boys settled next to each other.

"I want the three of us to hang out more."

As Felix abruptly voiced his thoughts, Jisung hummed in response, shifting his gaze to look at the other. "He's always studying.. Can't relate."

Felix chuckled at the reply, his contagious laughter causing the blond to smile in return. The gentle breeze that swept through carried a tinge of freshly picked flowers, and over the days, Jisung had learnt it was Felix's own scent, as alluring as his very presence.

"You're staring.." Felix lifted an eyebrow, a teasing smirk on his lips.

An obvious red spread over Jisung's cheeks at the remark, reaching all the way up to his ears. Immediately turning away, he scratched his nape in embarrassment and fumbled, "I wasn't- or maybe I was.."

It was comfortable. Even with little to no words, the boys wore content smiles on their lips, Felix's being more of a confident grin. Jisung let his eyes wander over the brick-walled building that stood tall before them. Each floor was marked with rows of huge glass windows that occupied entire walls. Jisung squinted, catching sight of a familiar face, with cold eyes, watching from a certain window.

And at that moment, Jisung realized that Seungmin wasn't quite fond of him.
