College Work
I attended college in 2014, so this chapter will be dedicated to my work in which I did back at college. I learnt a lot of things, I often thank the course I was on. It taught me a lot and now looking back, I miss those days.
I studied a whole range of topics. Art isn't just about drawing, it can take many forms. Here is a list of the forms in which I took part in.
* Fashion Illustration
*Illustration
* Book Making
* 2D Drawing Workshop
* Painting
*Photography
* Print Making

Book Making
Yes, that is actually a thing. I had to use a sewing machine to stitch the spine together. It had to be a personal book hence all the quotes. I added music, my favourite quotes, the human body and pictures of my boyfriend (now my husband).
Fashion
I love patterns and bright colours. I experimented by actually making clothes from paper. This is small scale, but I did make a real life-sized one which I wore.
Drawing
This was a turning point for me. I was used to drawing with a pencil and if I made a mistake, an eraser was my friend. College taught me to be confident in my abilities, that it is okay to make a mistake because even the best artist has done the same. The question we should ask ourselves is, how can we adapt to cover up the mistake and make it part of the drawing.
These drawings are in ink and as you can see, no pencil lines. It really taught me observation and trained my eye.
3D Buiding
From a recent trip to the British Museum, we had a task to make our own museum. I've always been fascinated with Egyptian history, so I made my own Egyptian museum.
I made a mummy, an open door in which the dead lay food outside for the afterlife and a sarcophagus (did I spell that right). Who knew that 5 years later I would be married to an Egyptian. I've been fortunate enough to visit the pyramids and see Tutankhamun's mask.
Having said that, I did not know Arabic when I made this.
Fashion Illustration
These are some of my designs.
Final Project
I studied Islamic Patterns with certain artists that liked bright colours. I put the two together and created my own designs.
My Mini-Me
We had to make a life-sized version of ourselves. So I used my own clothes, blew up gloves and used my hair extensions (yes, don't judge me).
