Chapter Ten

I spent the whole day shopping with Rachel. Rachel is one of my close friends. When I had no body a while back, she was there. And ever since then we have become extremely close.

"Thanks for the ride Rachel." I said and grabbed my bags out of the trunk of her car. "When is your parents going to get you a car? You are rich and live in a somewhat big house. It's weird that you don't have a car." Rachel said.

"Tell me about it! They promised me one here soon so I guess I have to wait whenever that soon is." I laughed.

"Well I will see you tomorrow at school babes." She waved and drove off. I walked through the front door and sat my bags down. My dog comes running. "Lucky!!!" I shouted and he jumped up. Lucky is a golden retriever. He is literally taller than me when he stands up.

"How is my baby boy?" I asked. He barked and licked my face.

"Ew!" I wiped my face and walked into the kitchen.

"Hey mom." I said and opened the fridge.

"You missed dinner." She said.

"So? Dad misses it all the time. I just went shopping. I actually bought you something." I smiled so she would forgive me.

"Really?!" She asked. I walked into the foyer and picked up a pink bag. I waved it at her. Her eyes widen and she snatched it out of my hand. She opened the box and she smiled so big.

"I have been wanting these heels forever!" She gave me a hug.

"I kind of figured that." I laughed and hugged her back. The front door opens and Dad walks through the door.

"Hey dad." I said and hugged him.

"Hey baby." He kissed my forehead. He then walked over to my mom and gave her a kiss as well.

"How was your day at the office?" Mom asked.

"Rough like always." He sighed and took off his jacket. My dad is one of the top lawyers in Phoenix. So you know he has a lot of trouble to deal with.

"Can I ask you guys something?" I asked. They both turned to me.

"What is it baby girl?" Dad asked.

"When am I going to get a car?" I looked at the both of them. They looked at each other and smiled.

"Come here." They said and covered my eyes.

"What are you doing?" I screeched. I tried to peek and look through their hands. I could feel a desert breeze so I knew we was outside.

"Open your eyes." They said and I opened. There was a red BMW 6 series convertible in the driveway.

"Don't be joking with me. I do not like to be joked with like this!" I shout. They started laughing.

"We are not joking. Here is the keys." Dad said and handed me the keys. I smiled so big and jumped into their arms.

"I LOVE YOU GUYS SO, SO, SO FREAKING MUCH!" I say and kissed them both on the cheek. I jumped down and run over to the car. Oh sweet baby Jesus. It has a navigation system and all.

"I'm going to call this baby Red." I shouted and sat in the seat. Mom and dad started chuckling.

"I am guessing you like it?" Mom asked.

"Like it? Hell no. I LOVE IT!" I shout. Dad rolled his eyes.

"Come inside when you are done drooling in your new car." Dad said. He and mom walked back into the house. I called Liam over FaceTime.

"Hey girl hey!" Liam answered.

"GUESS WHAT?!" I shouted.

"What?" He chuckled.

"I just got this new baby. Her name is Red." I said and turned the camera around. "WHAT?! YOU GOT A FUCKING CONVERTIBLE?!" He screamed. I started laughing. "I sent the pictures to Ems but she didn't reply. I don't know where she is." I explained. He looked at me confused.

"She asked me to go somewhere today but she didn't say where. Then she heard..... Colton...." He informed.

"Yeah, about Colton. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING WITH HIM?!" I shouted.

"Girl chill. He wants to be together. He wants to come out of the closet. And we kind of been secretly together before I even talked to Elijah....." He informed me. "You can't just do that to Elijah. He is way too sweet to be treated that way." "I broke up with him tonight. I told him to come over. I explained everything to him. So I wouldn't lie to him. He was glad that I told him the truth and actually talked to him about it. Then he said that he loved me and always will. So I told him that I liked him a lot. But I don't feel nothing like I have for Colton. I love Colton. I only like Elijah. I rather pick love over like." He said.

"True.... Just be careful. I am going to try calling Emily. So I will see you tomorrow." I blew a kiss in the phone and hung up. I tried calling Emily as I walked back into the house. But no answer. So I decided to text her.

Hey, r u ok? – Me

Ya, fine. Just driving home – Emily

From where? Liam said u were going somewhere but didn't tell him where. – Me

I rolled my eyes and carried my bags up into my room. My phone started vibrating.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hey... I'm not sure you remember me. You gave me your number at a party last weekend?" A guy said on the other line.

"Tyler?" I asked.

"You do remember me I see." He chuckled.

"I didn't think you were going to call. Because I kind of lost your number..." I giggled nervously.

"I thought you was going to call first. That is why I waited." He laughed.

"So what's up?" I asked.

"I was wondering if you want to go out this week sometime. Maybe get a coffee or something?" He asked. I started blushing.

"Of course. I will text you when and where." I responded.

"Good. See you then." He said and hung up. I smiled and put my phone on my desk. Tyler is a senior. But I am a sophomore. I wondered why a senior would even care about me or be interested. But I guess Tyler is.

 I started doing my homework and then got ready for bed.
