Chapter Seventeen

~~Liam~~

I woke up and seen Chloe. I jumped up from my bed and ran over to hug her.

"What are you doing here?!" I basically shouted.

"You three are in danger. You need to run from here. Don't look back." Chloe demanded.

"We can't just leave. We are going to fight this so you can come back!" I shouted.

"I want to come back. But you guys safety is more important than fighting for me."

"No it's not chlo! I will get you back here. You know Emily is your sister?" I asked. She turned and looked at me in shock.

"What?" She asked.

"Emily is your sister. She was born like six months after you I think. I'm not sure about all the details but Emily found your adoption records and her parents are the same parents as yours." I informed. Chloe looked at me and sat at the end of my bed.

"I had no idea....." She said and flipped her hair back.

I heard footsteps reaching my room.

"Go! You will find me again. Just run!" I exclaimed. She tossed me a piece of paper and ran out the window. I watched her climb down the tree and into a car as she drove off.

"Who was that?" My brother asked coming into my room.

"Who was what?" I asked, trying to keep my cool.

He looked at me and shook his head as he walked out of my room. I unraveled the piece of paper and started reading.

Dear Liam,

I will find you again. You can't find me, I will find you. Here is a prepaid number. You can call me when it's an emergency. Be safe. Xoxo.

I read the note and then read the number. I slipped the paper in my secret stash in my bedroom. I got onto my bike and rode to Emily's.

I pulled into her yard and ran inside. Kaden's mom was on her porch looking at me suspiciously. Something is up with her. I swear. She is the creepiest mom in the world. I ran into the house and up into Emily's bedroom.

"Emily!" I jumped on her bed. She jumped in shock.

"WHAT?!" She slapped me in the face.

"Guess what?!" I shouted.

"What?!"

"Chl- Abby was in my room this morning. I told her that you are her sister. And she told me that we are in trouble and that we need to run far as possible." I informed.

She jumped up and looked at me with her eyes widen.

"Why didn't she just stay away?! She could have been killed?!" Emily shouted at me. I just shrugged my shoulders.

"We need to go to school anyways. So let's get ready. We will tell coral there." Emily said and ran into the bathroom.

We was sitting in the courtyard at the table, talking about this morning. We was eating lunch and waiting for the next period when Detective Higginson walked over with two cops by her side. Everyone turned to look.

"Is everything ok?" I asked her.

"Everything is fine Liam. But Emily and Coral here are arrested for the disappearance of Abby White. And there will be a search warrant going through your bedrooms and cars." She smiled and they arrested Emily and Coral.

"What?! They did not have anything to do with that! Get your hands off of them Damnit!" I shouted at the detective and the two cops.

"Step back Liam." The one cop demanded.

"NO! Get your fucking hands off of them!" I shouted.  People was looking at us in shock.

"If you don't want to be arrested I suggest you to stay back." The cop said and pulled them away.

"Liam call my parents!" Coral shouted.

"I will get you two out of there! Don't worry!" I shouted. Tears filled my eyes. Kaden, Colton and Hailey came running over.

"What happened?! Where are they going?!" They all asked.

"They were arrested for the disappearance of Abby White." I informed. Colton looked at me. At least I know what Chloe meant by us being in trouble......
