Chapter 1: Nico
"I should be the one to kill him," Cyrus muttered, draping their legs over the arm of the chair they were in.
"One, get your legs off of the arm of the chair," Jesse started, "Second, I have to be the one to kill him. I'm the only one here who can get the kill done while making it feel like agony during the process."
"So a gunshot wound couldn't do the same thing?" I asked, laughing as I pulled my sunglasses on top of my head.
Four angry glares sent my way before they turned back to the plans we had laid out on the table. "I'll be in and out and it'll be excruciating for him," Jesse continued.
She looked at me. "Then I'll meet Nico out at the van where we'll check the surveillance cams for you guys to do your parts. Do you understand?"
"And what would our parts be exactly?" Cyrus asked leaning forward onto the table.
Before she could respond, there was a knock at the door. We all looked at each other before Hayley got up. She sped over to the door, her hair flowing behind her. Once she got over to the door, she took a second to unlock it before opening it up. "Hello," a man's voice said.
The voice was low and gravely. Almost like it could've been my grandfather. Shaking the thought out my head, I stood up and walked over to them. My eyes widened when I saw the guy standing in front of me. One thing was for sure, he was definitely not my grandfather.
