"Queens, New York. It's a rough borough but hey, it's home." Peter filmed out the window on his old phone, catching the lights of cars as they speed past. They were on their way to the airport and boy, were they excited.
Happy, still focusing on the road, called out to Peter. "Kid, what are you doing?" He asked over Evelyn trying in vain to suppress her giggles.
"Uh, just making a little video of the trip," Peter replied, slapping his sister on the leg.
"You know you can't show it to anyone, right?"
"I know."
"Then why are you doing it?"
Peter shrugged. "Uhh, 'cause it's fun."
Happy rolled his eyes. He couldn't believe Tony had stuck whim with a pair of childish kids who had no idea what they were doing. One was full of questions, completely unsure of what to do while the other was a humanoid form of sarcastic comments and witty comebacks. He was seriously tempted to shove them in the boot for some peace.
"Hey, so uh, why'd they call you Happy?" Peter asked, staring at the back of the driver's head. His response was a screen being raised, blocking Happy from the twins in the back seat.
"Wow."
"That was passive-aggressive," Evie said, pulling out her book and an apple. "Well, now he can't know that I'm eating back here. You eat too, I know how crazy your metabolism is."
Peter obeyed, pulling out another apple. He bit into the pale flesh, allowing it to dissolve on his tongue as he watched the world speed on by. Though he was excited, there was a little cloud of anxiety at the back of his mind, worried about what they were about to do. He didn't even know what they were doing yet.
The car finally slowed to a stop and Happy got out, getting Peter to wake up his sister who had fallen asleep, her head resting in an uncomfortable position. Peter poked her in the arm, then the nose before giving her a wet-willie. She jerked awake, slapping his finger out of her ear and nearly tackling him before she noticed Happy, an annoyed frown on his face.
"Come on," he said, walking away. "We don't want to be late."
They got out, the kids lugging their bags behind them as Harold led them to the jet. Peter's eyes grew wide with excitement while Evie grew anxious. Every since she was four, she had always had a particular disliking for planes.
"Should we go to the bathroom?" Peter asked.
Happy rolled his eyes. "There's one on there."
If it was even humanly possible, Peter grew even more excited. He nearly exploded at the fact that the plane was driverless, oblivious to his sister's discomfort. She grabbed his hand, tapping her thumb nervously on the back of his hand. It clicked in his mind how anxious she was and he gave her a warm smile, leading her to the seats opposite Happy.
"Is this your first time on a private plane?"
"Uh, it's our first time on any plane," Peter said. Happy pulled an irritated face and moved to the other side of the aircraft, absolutely refusing to sit near the two weirdos.
For the whole trip, Happy slept while Peter did everything in his power to make the trip fun for Evie. He poked Happy during his slumber, running for cover when the man snored unexpectedly, they had a silent dance party, streaming tunes through AirPods as they partied in the narrow aisle, he even attempted to do her hair, and anybody with curly hair knows how hard it is to try and tame their mane, let alone have someone with very minimal experience in hair do it.
Eventually, they grew tired, collapsing into their chairs. Peter watched out the window, enjoying the view of the cloud blanket below. It wasn't long until he felt a weight on his shoulder. Evie, confident, untouchable, powerful Evie, had fallen asleep on her brother's shoulder, her glasses askew under her brown locks.
Peter smiled. "I love you too," he whispered, resting his head on hers, slowly fading into a light slumber.

"Here's your room," Happy said, unlocking the door. They had finally arrived in Germany, and after a nice nap, the twins were full of energy and chaos.
"Oh, we're neighbours?" Peter asked, reaching for the door handle.
"We're not roommates." With that, Happy shut his own door, glad to be rid of their chaotic glory for the night. They had already gotten lost in the city after wandering off on the park, leaving a very panicked Happy to go bolting after them.
Evie pushed Peter inside, already opening doors to figure out where everything was. "Woooow," she said, turning in a full circle, "this place is not bad."
Peter nodded, then pointed at a rather offensive chair by the window. "That orange couch is really ugly though."
"Oh definitely. Orange is not my colour. On the opposite side of the colour wheel to blue." She found a bedroom and dumped her nags next to the bed, flopping down into the soft mattress. "If I was tired, I would sleep, but I'm not, so I'm just gonna lie here."
Peter nodded, opening another door. "Huh. We have our own rooms." It's not that he didn't like the room, it was just... empty without his other half. Fortunately, she felt the same way. Dragging her mattress off the bed, she shoved it into Peter's room and went back to grab her bags.
"I refuse to sleep in a creepy room by myself," she stated.
"Agreed." Peter opened his backpack, pulling out a zip-lock bag. "Movie time?" He asked.
Evie shot him a sly smile, her eyes sparkling. "Of course."

Happy walked tiredly into the first bedroom that he found the next morning, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. "Let's go, kid," he said, mid-yawn. He stopped, blinking at the empty bed frame. What the heck did they do to the bed?
He turned and walked out frantically, hoping that they hadn't vanished overnight. Without even knocking, he barged in, startling two teenagers who shot to their feet, the sheets going flying.
"Oh there you are," Happy sighed. "Why did you move the matters?"
"We didn't want to sleep in separate rooms," Peter said.
"But you didn't even use it."
That was true. They had been watching movies on Peter's queen-sized bed until they both fell asleep, only half in their pyjamas and half in the clothes they had worn the day before.
"Oh well," Evie said, stretching. "What's up?"
"Suit up, we need to leave in an hour."
The twins nodded. Happy turned and left, leaving the two of them to hunt through bags for their suits. They ate a hurried breakfast, got changed and pep talked each other up until they were absolutely determined that they could accomplish whatever the heck they were doing. Happy walked in again and blinked, tolling his eyes for the 674th time.
"What are you two wearing?" He asked.
Evie looked down at her outfit. "Our suits," she replied.
"Where are the cases?"
"The cases?" Peter asked, confused as Happy opened a door and walked through. "Wait, there's another room in here!?"
"You told me it was a closet!" Evie said as she dragged him with her. Lying on the table were two cases, one with the initials PBP and the other with EAP printed neatly on the front. Evie opened hers and gasped.
"Oh. My. Goodness. This is the best day of my life." In the case was a brand-new suit, similar son her old one, but way better. Made out of a strong, stretchy white fabric, the suit had three pieces: the full-body suit with a half-mask that ran across her nose, a white skirt with blue snowflakes and a matching cropped hoodie that attached to the full-body part. It was all slightly holographic, adding an icy touch to the look.
Peter also had an upgrade. Made of heavy-duty spandex was his suit, mostly red with blue on the sides, back, arms and legs. Over the top of the blue and red was a black spiderweb pattern, spiralling out from in between the two white mechanical eyes. A black spider symbol was in the chest, made from the same material as the new and improved web-shooters. "This is so cool," he whispered.
Happy didn't have all day. "Come on, put them on and let's go!"
"Wait, you mean we get to wear these?" Peter asked.
"Well duh, I don't see any other Spideys running around," Evie retorted, running to get changed. Peter slipped into his suit, admiring how superhero-y he looked in the mirror.
"How do I look, Spidey?"
He turned, the mechanical eyes growing wide. His sister looked amazing like she was about to go kick some criminal butt in style. "Amazing."
"I'm loving the colours on yours. And the eyes are hilarious."
"Hey! I like them!"
They caught up with Happy in the living room, still gushing over their suits. They felt so cool and heroic and like they could take on absolutely anything.
"You ready?"
They nodded, determined. "What exactly are we doing?" Frostbite asked.
A small smile played on the man's lips. "Kicking Captain America's butt."
