"oh my gosh look at that! they have glow in the dark vampire teeth! have I ever told you about that time I thought mingyu was a vampire? wonwoo had to talk me out of killing him, good times." jun rambled as he picked up a pair of vampire fangs and added it to joshua's cart. the brunette scowled at the sight of the toy next to his carton of almond milk, so when the chinese male wasn't looking he placed it back on the shelf.

jun ran off ahead to look at more vampire themed toys so for now he remained unaware of what joshua had done to his vampire fangs. alongside joshua who was pushing his shopping cart trailed jun's twelve year old sister jia who cringed out of secondhand embarrassment as she watched her brother walk up to a free samples display to try to swindle the employee for more than one serving.

joshua had discovered on his way to the grocery store that jun was actually at the playground because he was watching over his little sister. although it did appear as if the twelve year old was the one babysitting jun because he was the one who seemed to be out of control. it was all part of the very quirky personality he had, was what jia had told joshua. 

"is he always like this?" joshua asked jia who nodded without hesitation. joshua hadn't even known that the purple haired male had a younger sister let alone did he know that the twelve year old would end up being more mature company than jun was himself. it made joshua wonder what else he didn't know about the weird senior. "he had two bowls of marshmallow cereal so he may be experiencing a bit of a high here."

"hey you took my fangs out of the cart, that's not very fang-tastic joshua." jun tried to keep an angry glare at joshua as he brought back another pair of vampire fangs and a pudding cup from the samples display, but the energetic student failed in doing so. jun had actually ended up laughing at his own pun. he was the biggest fan of weird jokes and very dumb puns, it reminded joshua a lot about himself in the way that the brunette had a very weird sense of humor as well.

though he didn't seem to retain that sense of humor now because he was very adamant on getting his grocery shopping over with. all he wanted to do was finish up with this errand so that he could get home and work on some  studying and some pleasant homework assignments. it wasn't only that joshua loved to study and prepare himself for school efficiently, but the brunette found comfort and order in being such an organized and studious student. "I took them out because we're here to shop, not fool around."

"loosen up joshua, I'm just having a bit of fun." jun smiled, nudging his pudding cup towards his sister. a little bit of jun's personality shone from the smaller pre-teenager as she happily accepted the dessert food and began to enthusiastically consume it. the purple haired male had a proud grin on his face as he patted jia's head before going back to anticipating joshua's response.

"I didn't even invite you here junhui." joshua said very flatly, ruining the happy expression on jun's face. the brunette actually felt bothered that his comment had made jun look so down, so he decided to suck up his irritation with the chinese male for a few minutes as he mustered up the nicest tone he could to speak to jun again. "if you actually want to be useful though you can get a dozen eggs for me, that'll help."

"alright I'm on it sir! come jia, I may need some back-up for this excruciatingly difficult mission!" jia looked up from the now finished pudding cup and nodded at her brother. she was sure that on their way to where the eggs were they would be able to pass the pudding sample stand again so that she could get another cup. her brother had the same idea in his head as he dragged his sister off towards the pudding display.

it took jun about ten minutes to figure out where the eggs were and retrieve them for joshua, so what was supposed to be a quick shopping trip ended up being so much longer than the brunette had expected. not only did he have to make sure that he got the groceries he needed, joshua also felt somewhat of a responsibility to ensuring that jun didn't cause any trouble for him. after all, he didn't want the chinese male to get him banned from his favorite supermarket.

of course just as they were checking out, jun also insisted on helping with that process. he had given his own sister some money to purchase the candies joshua had taken out of his cart, the brunette made it very clear he wasn't buying anything fun after jun tried filling his cart with all kinds of goodies, while he helped packed joshua's grocery bags.

it was when he got home though that joshua finally allowed himself to loosen up. while unpacking the bags and grumbling to himself about how annoyingly long the shopping trip was, the senior discovered something that made him smile greatly. at the bottom of the bag laid a pair of the stupidly annoying vampire fangs, purchased for him by a certain purple haired boy.
