"Shit" I whispered.

"What happened?" Jacob asked me from his place near the drums.

"My phone is dead." I said.

"Now what??" Emma started panicking.

I had only one option left. I stepped in front of the mic once again.

"Hello. I'm Liya Rose Mathew. 10 years ago, during this time, I was cutting my birthday cake with my family and friends. And 10 minutes after that, I was moving to Seattle due to my dad's transfer without saying a single word to my best friend Eli. I-I was to scared to tell him I was going away, probably forever. But maybe if I had told him I was leaving, I wouldn't be so desperate searching for him at every street in NY. Maybe I deserve this punishment. We were so similar. We both love music, dance, basketball, and never cared that we were born with silver spoons in our mouth. This song, 'Shining Star', we wrote and composed it. Pretty big deal for two 10 year old kids to compose a song. I guess we were pretty talented. The last song I sang with him. And this audio, the last memory I had with him. But now this is also shattered by..by..." I started breaking down. I took a deep breath to calm down for a few more seconds.

"Ellington Adams, if you are hearing this, I'm sorry, please forgive me if you can." By then tears started rolling down my cheeks.

"I'm sorry, I can't perform anymore, excuse me." I whispered and turned around and prepared to run.

"All it takes is a small smile," A voice came from the crowd. I was shocked as hell. I turned around and whispered.

"Eli?"

"And in front of you, stars fade away" He continued.

"Cause you're my shining star" We together finished the song. He stepped into the spotlight. It was Harry.

"E-Eli?" I asked once again to know if it was actually him. He nodded his head with a tiny smile. I couldn't believe it. I jumped off the stage and into his arms. We hugged each other so tight as if we would never let go. I sobbed into his shoulder.

"I'm so so so sorry,I'm-" Was the only thing I could say in between my sobs. I remember him whispering into my ear.

"It's all right, everything is fine now." Even though everyone were applauding like hell for our reunion, I was embarrassed for crying in-front of everyone. But I didn't care. The only thing I cared about was that I was in the arms of Eli. And then, I felt everything go black.
