Gracidea Fields
A small group of the tiny pokémon stepped through the fields, fields that their kind called home. They were a species tiny in size, and quite similar to a hedgehog. Their elder was different, but not much larger.
Time had turned his wings a dusty rose. His white fur had been bleached white by flying the sun, while the green had become brighter by the same. This Pokémon was much older than the others, but his large eyes held seriousness, courage, wisdom, and kindness.
He was a Sky Warrior, protector of the Gracidea fields. He was one of the few of their kind whom had been gifted with wings. It was his duty to keep his colony safe from danger. He stood guard as the others settled beneath the blossoms to eat the vegetation there quietly.
A searing light came rushing towards the field. With a harsh bark, he alerted the Land Shaymin of the potential danger, and they quickly burrowed beneath the flowers, leaving him to face what had happened. At the moment though, all the Warrior could do was stand and watch as the object continued to plummet towards their flowers in a brilliant white light. Eventually, he heard a crash as it made impact. The old guardian then unfurled his wings and flew to the impact site.
Just my luck... A flying object has to crash in our field- of all places! His mumbling stopped suddenly as he froze. There was no scorched earth from the object's impact; only overturned soil. Even as he watched though, the grass and blossoms that had been crushed were returning to life. The growth spanned outwards from a tiny white form that lay curled in a ball at the epicenter. Short green hair fell just above her shoulders.
Oh my... It's just a little girl. How did she get here though? The elder looked to the sky she'd just fallen from. Little girls don't just fall from the sky...
The child yawned in her sleep, and his brow furrowed with concern. She's very young to be on her own. I doubt she'd survive on her own, not at this age. Based on how she looks, I'd say she's only about five years old at the most...
What will I do with her? I can't just leave her here... But she's human... How could she survive in our fields..?
The girl, asleep, sighed softly as she snuggled closer into the newly grown, tender grass and rolled over. The Pseudo-legendary gasped, not daring to blink his green eyes.
This... Is impossible.
He hadn't seen it before because the girl had had her back facing away. Now, he could clearly see a tiny pair of white wings sprouting from her back. A smile came upon his aged face as he touched her forehead with his nose gently. He whistled sharply, and two adolescent Shaymin popped up from the flower beds.
Prepare a nest for her. She is to stay with us. The two scampered off, and the elder looked at the seemingly helpless child in front of him. With his nose, he nudged her. She yawned again, then blinked her large eyes open, revealing viridian irises.
What is your name? He asked, then remembered that humans don't understand pokémon. Before he could rephrase his question with telepathy though, her small mouth opened.
"My name is....." Her eyes clouded over. "My name is Zahra," she mumbled before looking to the sky.
Where did you come from, Zahra?
Her eyes squeezed shut. Her mouth made no sound, but he heard her small voice in his mind. I... Don't know... I don't know anything... Just my name... Her green eyes opened and landed on the Sky Shaymin.
"Who are you?"
My name is Iridium. I am the Sky Warrior who protects these fields. She gave him a blank look, so he explained. I belong to a species known as Shaymin. We call these flower fields-Gracidea fields- our home.
Oh...
He nudged her tiny arm. You can live with us as well.
A shy smile broke out on her face. "Ok." As the two returned to the heart of the Gracidea fields, the Sky Warrior Iridium looked unto the sky from which the child next to him had just fallen.
So it is to begin, just as my grandfather foretold... He gently closed his eyes. With that prophecy, we did not know what our future would hold. He opened his eyes to examine the young girl with angel-like wings upon her back. Only that it would lay in her hands. He had to speed up to keep pace with the little girl, who now seemed to be full of energy.
Thank you, Lord Arceus. Our savior has come.

Ok, hi. I apologize to anyone in advance if I don't update much. School's tough. But even though I already have a bunch of stories going, I couldn't help beginning this when I thought of it. I'll try to work on Fighting for my Identity, A Face Everyone Knows, and if you read my originals, Shade, Together We Fall , and The Whisperer, as well as this, but maintaining my grades comes first. As always, thank you for reading. Feedback is always appreciated.
