Their father, William, has abused the two, mostly Aster, for the last year. However, he has also been murdering women, Aster has witnessed some of these murders, his father even forcing him into help him clean it up. Though, the team was soon called in for the case at hand, they began catching up to the unsub. Their profiling skills eventually brought them to warn kids in high school, since those are the main age range for the victims.

Obviously, Aster sticks out a little, his neck covered with a chocker. Though, their attention wasn't fully in him until they spoke up about their being a curfew.
