a few days had gone by and they were still no where. they had a group meeting and it turned out that there will be a bunch of information that ended up becoming a huge blur. marshall was scratched off the suspect list, so was marie who they interviewed and she was out of the country when all this happened. 

"something that I dont get was that the papers sherly had in her office were documents saying how well the coffee club is doing, and how much money they are getting. it says this in the police documents" jimin said pacing back and forward. 

"josh have you downloaded any security footage from that morning?" taehyung asked

"not yet, I did that this morning as it was a bitch to access but its downloading now- it has 5 minutes to go" he replied. 

"good, any more evidence?" jungkook asked 

"no chief jeon, to examination of sherly came back with a shot wound that killed her, she had no other injuries" acacia said. 

"can someone pull up pictures of the crime scene while we wait for security footage?" taehyung asked. as nico was placing all the pictures all over the board taehyung, jungkook and jimin all stepped closer. 

taehyung's eyes scanned the pictures, his finger touching the picture in the living room. to see two cups of a drink on the table. "wait guys" taehyung called out pointing to the picture. 

"there are two cups on the table? she lives alone" taehyung stated watching as jungkook's eyes widened. "so she had someone over" jimin said. 

"thats why nothing was broken, or stolen" 

"so whoever was with her would of been someone she trusted. someone she let inside her house willingly." taehyung said. 

"footage is downloaded" josh commented. they all stopped what they were doing and walked over to josh, they all stood behind him as he pressed play. he fast-forwarded it a couple of times till they were at a day before she was found. 

"so dorothy talks to her by the mail boxes" taehyung said, saying out-loud what he sees. 

"talks to a few more other neighbours" jungkook said 

"they all seem to be older neighbours" jimin replied. 

"okay she lets a neighbour into her house, the day before she was found" jungkook called out. 

"now this is the day of and she has not come out of the house" jungkook said 

"look there is dorothy!" taehyung said and looked at the time "this is earlier then the call" he muttered. they all watched as she walked up the sherlys home, knocking on the door only for the door to open. 

sherly let her into the house, then the door shut. "fast forward it" taehyung muttered. 

"stop" he said watching as dorothy leaves the house, before the call. holding a pink medium box as she walks back to her place. "go ahead" the brunette said. "stop" taehyung said again. 

"she goes back out" jimin called out. they all watched in shock as she entered with a black box and entered the house without knocking. as josh skipped a little bit over the footage until she left the house with the same box she entered with.

walking back into her own. taehyung looked at the time to see this was when the call was. 

"it was dorothy" taehyung muttered, letting out a chuckle. 

"how come we could not check the security sooner?" acacia asked. 

"apparently they had be tampered with so it took awhile to get into it" jungkook said. 

"send all this to sir, we need to get a arrest warrant" taehyung said to josh who nodded. 

"we have to find the weapon" jungkook said to his husband who sighed. 

"I got an idea" taehyung smirked, looking at jungkook who smiled. 

"okay so after we talk to her, you go upstairs to go 'toilet' i will keep her busy, if you find a gun that matches the bullets then you press the button on your belt. sir will get a alert then give a all go for police to come in and circle around her" jungkook whispers to his husband who nods, they were walking up to dorothy's front door. 

"if we just got a search warrant to search her house she would have found out someway or another, she could have someone working with her to help her?" taehyung questions.

taehyung did feel a little nervous, this was the first time he knew who killed someone and he was gonna have to pretend. he gulped when jungkook knocked on the door, he felt his heart sink when he made eye contact with dorothy who had a bright smile on her face. 

'who would of thought a 70 year old could pull this all off' which is what taehyung wanted to say straight away.

"oh officers, what a pleasant surprise" she smiled at the two. 

"do you mind if we come in to ask you a few questions?" jungkook muttered first, letting out a small smile when she nodded and stepped back to let them inside. 

"you have a beautiful home" taehyung mentioned, looking around the room to see its a really similar shape to sherly's. the wallpaper is the same, the lounge is placed the same. 

"thank you, I got it renovated last year" she smiled as they all took a seat. 

"how may I help?" she asked. 

"we just wanted to go over the day you found her, the time-line. just wanted to make sure we have everything correct" jungkook stated. 

"ask away" she replied. 

"so you had only gone to her house once the day you found her?" the chief asked 

"yes, we were meant to meet up for a cup of tea but i had not heard from her so i was worried and decided to go check to see if she was home" 

"why do you think the son killed her?" 

"they never got along, they always argued and he always used her" she replied. 

"im assuming you havent found much evidence to get him arrested"

"we are getting there" taehyung replied confidently. 

"when do you think she was killed?" taehyung asked. 

"on the day I found her, her son visited her the night before hand then I heard he visited the morning of" she replied. 

"do you think i could use your bathroom? we went to a horrible restaurant before and its given me an upset tummy" taehyung asked.

"of course you can, if you walk upstairs its at the end of the hallways to the right" she replied. 

"thank you so much" taehyung said getting up from his seat and walking up the stairs. he made sure his footsteps were quiet, so he could make sure jungkook was still talking to her. his eyes scanned the hallway, he saw the bedroom and slowly walked in. it was super clean. 

his foot lead him to the window, where it got a view of sherlys back yard. he turned around to look at the walls to see nothing stand out. he started to rummage through her stuff quietly, picking up some papers to read them- then putting them to the side when they meant nothing.

as taehyung took a step back the floor creaked a little, he turned to the floor to see it was a bit of a weird shape. he found it weird how this was the only floor piece that creaked. he got onto his knee's and bent down to take a closer look at it. 

he gasped when he realised it had a gap to lift it. so he placed his hands on it and lifted it to reveal a slot with a black box. it looked like the same box she took over to sherly's, he took the box out and lifted the lid. 

he unwrapped all the cloth to reveal the muder weapon. his breath hitched, and he quickly left everything how it was and pressed the buzzer. not even a minute later, he heard loud shouts as officers entered the house. 

"tae?" he heard jungkook's voice coming closer to where he was. 

"in here" he called out. 

he stepped back from what he found when jungkook entered the room, nico following in with his camera. "take pictures of this then get acacia to pack it up and send it to forensics" taehyung commanded and walked out the room with his husband following behind him. 

"we did it" jungkook whispered looking at her getting pushed into the car. 

"we just have to interview her and see if she is working with anyone else" taehyung replied.
