3 weeks have gone by and taehyung has been super busy lately, around this time of year the department is super busy. its close to the christmas holidays and everyone was trying to get their work done.

taehyung was now in one of the meeting rooms with other officers as they wait for the boss, they werent sure on what this was about but they knew it was something important.

"good morning everyone" sir said as jungkook follows in behind everyone stands and bows then sits back down.

"this is the busiest time of the year for us but we will get through it, we have a new member to our team if you would like to stand up" sir says as a girl stands

taehyung doesnt notice anything till he looks at jungkook who's eyes were wide

"introduce yourself" sir says

"hi everyone my name is olivia and I am the new office person/officer" she says smiling

taehyung looked at jungkook when he heard the name olivia, jungkook was frozen in the spot not expecting to meet his once lover again.

"please treat her well, now carry on as things is make sure to hand in the reports soon" sir says as everyone leaves

officers leave and sir tells taehyung and olivia to stay back- after everyone was gone taehyung and olivia stood up and walked to jungkook and sir.

"olivia, I want you too meet jungkook known as chief jeon and taehyung known as our case officer" sir says 

"nice to meet you" olivia says staring at jungkook who stares back at her

taehyung didnt know how he felt about the way jungkook was staring at her.

"I-i have to go do paper work" taehyung bows and walks out the room

he walked to his office and shut the door behind him, not expecting for this to happen.

seconds later the door opens and jimin comes rushing in

"did you-" he says but gets cut off by taehyung who nods

"she is a real bitch tae but I promise you, nothing will come in between you and jungkook yeah" jimin says as taehyung nods sadly smiling

taehyung had told jimin about them having sex and jimin was over the moon, so happy for his friend.

jimin hugs taehyung before rushing out so no one sees him as he is meant to be on patrol

taehyung shakes his head and reminds himself he has nothing to worry about.

4 hours later

an alarm had gone off meaning there was another call so taehyung got up and ran out of his office to see some officer gathered up, taehyung's eyes followed jungkook who was standing in front of the officers olivia by his side.

"everyone this is an emergency call for a murder so hop in the cars and lets go- also this is olivia she is new and would be joining us zee you are paired up with her" jungkook says 

"why cant i be paired up with you?" she asks

"I already have a partner" jungkook says looking at taehyung with eyes filled with love

"now lets go" jungkook said as they walk out the building jungkook ignoring olivia's calls

taehyung rushes to jungkook's car and they both drive off.

"im sorry tae, I had no idea she was-" jungkook starts blabbering but taehyung cuts him off

"ggukie, you dont have to apologise- you and I are together and I trust you and love you so much, she has no right to come into your life again- i am just worried she would come in between us" taehyung said

"taehyung I love you so so much there is no way I would go back to her- I would rather be single and she may try but my love for you will always stay"  jungkook said as he placed his hand on taehyung's thigh

taehyung smiled placing his hand on jungkook's

they arrived at the destination and they both hopped out, they walked towards the front lawn where they saw some officers and olivia standing waiting for jungkook

"whats the story" jungkook asks

"the victim is a dad, he has 2 daughters who dont live with him anymore as they are away in college- we just need heaps of help on evidence and your team are great with that so after this we can take over" a chief said as jungkook nodded

"lets go in- officer kim, zee, the photographers and olivia" jungkook called out as they walked to the door

jungkook going in first then taehyung behind, the smell of blood was very strong which made taehyung feel quite dizzy- but he shook the feeling off and followed jungkook.

"the body is covered so look around and find evidence the bags are on the table with gloves if anything cant be removed call the photographers" jungkook says as everyone spread out the house.

the house was a decent size, so it will take a lot to go through. taehyung went the opposite way to the others. he walked into a room that was pretty tidy, maybe a little too tidy.

jungkook was looking around when he saw olivia touching things

"you cant go touching stuff, look with your eyes" jungkook said coldly and walked away 

taehyung grabbed a few things and put it in the plastic bag, he leaned down on the ground and sniffed the floor.

'just what I thought' he thought

"chief jeon!" taehyung called from outside the door

jungkook heard taehyung call for him and rushed towards the voice

"you okay?" he asks as he sees taehyung nod

"yeah but look at how tidy this room is" taehyung states as he watches jungkook look around the room.

"look at how shiny the floor is" 

jungkook looks down and hums

"sniff this" taehyung says holding up his finger 

"bleach" jungkook mutters and taehyung nods

"okay I will get a search team in here- good job babe" jungkook says pecking his cheek and then left taehyung smiled and walked out of the room and adventured to the other rooms.

taehyung walked into a room that looked like an office, he walked in and looked around the room. there were a few papers around that he looked at to see they were bank statements.

taehyung looked through them to see that he had a lot of money that was sent to him but no money was sent back and they were all from different accounts.

the door opened and olivia walked through, they made eye contact but the didnt say anything.

taehyung looked at the papers and took a picture on his phone then walked to the bookshelf looking around.

taehyung grabbed onto the bookcase as he felt like he was losing balance, he closed his eyes and rubbed his head. 

taehyung wiped his nose and saw that blood was dripping, he grew a little panicky and opened his eyes fully but saw everything spin.

olivia heard taehyung whimper and watched him lose his balance and fall on the ground going unconscious, she walked out of the room and closed the door not bothering to check on taehyung.

jungkook was in the room that taehyung had called him into, they had finished looking at the rooms and they all walked into the last one. another officer opened the door and walked in before any of the others could.

jungkook was at the back of the group putting all the evidence in the box when he heard a yell

"OFFICER DOWN" he heard a officer yell which was also dragged through the intercom 

jungkook watched as the officers were crowded by the door, jungkook rushed to the door- and pushed people aside to see his love on the floor.

"TAEHYUNG" jungkook yelled as rushed towards taehyung and crouched by him

"is the ambulance on their way?" jungkook ask 

"they're here now" an officer says

"keep on going with the investigation I will go with taehyung" jungkook says as he picks taehyung up and rushes out the door with him in his arms.

officers were shocked to see an officer was laying unconscious in jungkooks arms, the ambulance doors were open and they told jungkook to rush towards him.

"whats wrong" the workers said as jungkook lifted taehyung up onto the ambulance and on the bed

"I am not fully sure, he was on the floor unconscious and his nose was bleeding" jungkook says quickly as the nurses nod

"I will follow you guys from my car" jungkook says rushing out and going towards his car, while he was following the ambulance he called jimin.

"hey kook whats up?" jimin asks

"its taehyung" jungkook says which caused jimin to sit up from his seat 

"what about him is he okay" jimin asks

"we were at a investigation and an officer called out officer down and i rushed in to see taehyung on the floor and he was not breathing and he had a bloody nose" jungkook said

"where is he now!" jimin said 

"I am following the ambulance to the hospital" jungkook says

"which hospital" jimin asks

"not sure, I will send the address when i get there" jungkook says as they both hang up

"FUCK" jungkook yells and slams his hand on the wheel 

he let his tears fall and he screamed again, he hated when taehyung was hurt or in danger. he had no idea how long taehyung had been there for. jungkook pulled into the hospital and parked his car.

he sent the address to jimin and followed the nurses in who were wheeling taehyung in.

"he is back to breathing, we have no idea why he fainted so we need scans now" a nurse called out as they entered a room.

jungkook followed and watched from a far as taehyung was getting scanned, he was now asleep and jungkook was thankful and he hopes it was nothing serious.
