they were now in a meeting and jungkook got handed a envelope filled with who the dna came back to from the clothing and gun also the suicide note. jungkook grabbed the white board maker as he opened the envelope.

"okay on the gun was mrs wilson" jungkook said as taehyung felt like his hope was running lose

"on the clothes was jack and mrs wilson" jungkook says writing it on the white board

"the suicide note only had jack's dna on it" jungkook said

"can someone go check in evidence for other letters that may have been written by the victim- wether that be files or documents" taehyung asked

"it would be good to be able to compare" he continued and received a nod. 

jungkook was definitely proud of taehyung for voicing out his opinions and thoughts.

jungkook read down the letter to see if it was a murder or suicide his eyes go wide.

"this was a murder" jungkook says

"and we have our muderer? right?" taehyung says as jungkook nods

"wait how when his dna did not come up on the gun?" an officer asked

"because he most likely wiped the gun for his prints and if his dna was the only thing found on the suicide note that is wrong cause it should be mrs wilson and also jack's eligibly doesn't match up with what his friends are saying" taehyung states

"the weirdest thing to me was that he was wanting to become a police officer?" taehyung commented. 

"maybe that was to try find a way to cover his tracks if he was on the team?" 

"okay I need two officers to go arrest him and bring him here" jungkook says leaving with a few other officers.

taehyung sat there are started to finish the case file so he can hand it into the judge if needed.

jungkook was now in the interview room talking to jack who was in hand cuffs.

"your dna was on the suicide note and clothes" jungkook says chucking the file on the table.

"is that it" jack says

"your alibi is false and does not match up and we have enough evidence to arrest you for the murder of your mum" jungkook says smiling

"taehyung is clever then I thought" jack smirked

"jack, this was not the hardest case ever- a 12 year old who has watched crime documentaries could of solved it" taehyung replied.

"why did you kill your mum?" jungkook asked

"she was just annoying and I needed money" he shrugs

jungkook felt furious at the comment

"so you dont even care about your little sister? amber ring a bell" jungkook commented

"nah I dont care" jack said

jungkook looked at him coldly, jungkook stood up and opened the door to let two officers in.

"enjoy your life in jail and let me tell you; some inmates admire their mums" jungkook smirks as he walks out walking to the meeting room that taehyung was in.

"you arrested him?" taehyung asks as jungkook nods

"yus!" taehyung says relief shown on his face

"I will go visit amber and dorathy to let them know" taehyung says

"take my car" jungkook says

"really?!" taehyung asks

"of course!" he hands taehyung the keys

"be back soon" jungkook says leaving the room before taehyung could hand him back the keys

taehyung ran out of the meeting room and went outside, hopping into the car and driving off.

taehyung pulls up in front of their house that he put on the navigation, he parked and walked out walking up to the front step knocking on the door.

he hears a few footsteps before the door opens.

"oh officer kim, come in" dorathy says moving to the side to let them in.

"I just wanted to check up on amber and you" taehyung asks

"she is much happier here" dorathy says walking behind taehyung

"is she home?" taehyung asked as they entered the kitchen only for taehyung to see her watching tv

"hey amber how are you?" taehyung asks sitting down beside her

"im good, a lot better now" she smiles taehyung nods feeling happy that she is okay.

"amber dear can you give me a officer kim some privacy to talk" dorathy says as amber nods rushing to her room after pausing the TV.

the nana sits down in front of taehyung and smiles

"how are things with the case?" the nana asks

"have you found who did it?" dorathy continues

"yeah it was jack" taehyung says looking at the nana waiting for a reaction only to see her hum and nod

"you dont seem very surprised?" taehyung says

"jack was quite aggressive and I knew if anyone were to kill ambers mum it would be him" the nana says

"your documents for custody of amber are here" taehyung says handing her the folder filled with information

"you just have to sign these and hand them into the office" taehyung says

"I would like for jack to not request for him to see amber and etc" she says

"that is fine you will go through that information with your lawyer" taehyung says

they chat for a few more minutes before taehyung leaves.

taehyung was now driving on the road when he saw people running out of a shopping mall screaming, taehyung's eyes widen as he saw some people running out with blood on their clothes.

"attention all officers there is a 24.42 at highway 3 just off the motorway at milford mall, we call all units that are out on patrol to drive there, over" a voice came over the radio.

taehyung knew he had to as he was an officer on patrol he was glad that jungkook kept a spare gun in the glove box. he drove into the parking lot and grabbed the gun, he parked the car and rushed out.

the new officer ran towards a lady that was behind a car clutching her stomach as blood poured out.

"miss can you hear me" taehyung says crouching down

"y-yes" she mumbles

taehyung grabs his phone and dials for emergency contact

"hi something has happened at milford mall and there are groups of people who look like they have been shot" taehyung says

"yes thank you" he says before hanging up.

"ambulances are on their way can you tell me what happened?" taehyung says

"everyone was eating f-food and walking around when everyone heard gun shots coming from a store, everyone screamed and ran out and I was one of t-the ladies in the store. they shot me as I was running" the lady says

taehyung helps her up and brings her towards nurses who came rushing out. once he handed the lady to the nurses he grabbed his gun and ran around the other side of the mall, finding a staff entrance.

taehyung walked in quietly.

it was hectic at the office like crazy busy, this was a major incident that does not happen often. of course you get the occasional robberies and fights at bars but nothing as messy as this.

jungkook was gathering up his team as they all were putting on their suits.

jungkook was super worried that taehyung might be at the mall now. he would only be there if he was on his way back and it was jungkooks worst fear knowing taehyung might be there all alone.

"lets go!" jungkook shouts as everyone rushes towards the vans and cars and hopped in

jungkook hopped into the dark huge police van and told the officer to drive.

jungkook was so nervous for the first time ever, he was scared.

the last thing he wanted was for taehyung to be hurt or in danger. he understood that taehyung would get put in situations like this but it did not stop him from being worried.

jungkook and the guys had finally pulled into the malls parking lot to see cops on guard at the front and ambulances everyone filled with nurses fixing injuries.

once they parked everyone rushed out, jungkook spotted his car and felt his heart clench as he looked around and saw no taehyung.

jungkook and his team walked up the the officers at the front a shook hands.

"chief jeon, seems to be we have 10 males in there looting stores we have 6 shots that have injured 6 people" an officer says

"has any officer gone through?" jungkook asks

"we heard from a lady that one did go in" the officer replied jungkook sighed already knowing it was taehyung.

"okay we are going in but in secret" jungkook says

"we respected your judgment" the officer says

"I need 2 people with me, 2 officers to enter the back end, two officers to entre the side end and two officers to enter through the top" jungkook says as the people gather up in line ready to go.

"we also need police vehicles at each end besides the top so when we bring them out we can have officers to cuff them and drive them off" jungkook says as officers get into the car and drive towards the set area's.

"to the officers who are going inside what you need to do is grab any of the 10 male's quietly so cover their mouths as you drag them out so we want cause any chaos" jungkook orders

jungkook walks around the side of the mall and sees a staff door. he points to the door as one of the officers open it. jungkook holds his gun up tight as he points it towards the door and walks in, the officers following behind him.

taehyung was now inside the mall, the door he had entered into lead to a shop. he quietly walked around to see everything nearly gone.

he walked quietly towards the entrance of the shop to see no one around. he gripped his gun as he stepped out of the shop and looked around to see other shops.

taehyung's eyes widen when he heard shouts and quickly rushed towards another shop.

jungkook had just entered the shop to see it was empty and glass was everywhere.

they all hid behind a wall when they heard footsteps coming.

three males walked a head of them not noticing that they were there, jungkook looks towards the officers and nods. they all slowly walked up to the three males who had a bag each filled with items.

the males covered the three males mouth muffling their voices as they head towards the door and handing them towards other officers before going back inside.

"you two stay together" jungkook says as he splits up from them and walks to the entrance to hear loud footsteps.

he grips his gun and rushes towards a dark clothing store that had not been louted yet.

taehyung was in the store next to that store to see not everything was gone

'why the hell did I come into an electronic store' taehyung thought as he looked around

"grab as much things as you can" taehyung heard a male yell as he quickly hid behind a cabinet.

 he heard people enter the store, he shut his eyes trying to not get scared.

"grab all those electronics" he heard someone yell, he heard glass smashing and been thrown everywhere.

footsteps were right behind taehyung as someone was grabbing things out of the glass cabinets.

glass flew everywhere including a large piece of glass that sliced taehyungs upper cheek.

taehyung covered his mouth as he bit his lip in pain, feeling the blood rush down his face.

he heard footsteps leave as he quietly looked around and stood up once he saw no one was there.

taehyung didnt know what the goal was for now he knew that his own goal was to make sure no one was hurt or still stuck in the mall.

he walked towards the entrance to see the males walk away, taehyung quietly rushed to the store next to him and looked around to see nothing really gone.

he walked around the mens clothing and saw nothing, he walked past the changing rooms and did not see anyone.

he felt a hand been placed over his mouth as he squeals when he was pulled into the changing room, his eyes widen when the door was shut and locked. tears welled up in his eyes.

"tae its me" he hears jungkooks voice and the hand moves off his mouth, he lets a quiet shaky cry as he turns around to see jungkook, he spreads his arms and wrapped them around jungkooks neck.

jungkook felt relief fill his body once he saw taehyung walking past the changing rooms, he wrapped a hand over his mouth and pulled them in, hearing his yelp and feeling his tears as he closed the changing room doors.

the head officers eyes widen seeing taehyung cheek cut, he wrapped his arms around taehyung's waist pulling him closer.

"fuck taehyung I was so worried about you" jungkook whispered as he kisses taehyung's neck and pulls away

"what happened to your cheek" jungkook says placing his hand on the smaller males cheek and wipes the blood from taehyungs cheek

"glass cut it when one of the man slammed the glass to get the electronics" taehyung said

"boys grab the clothes" they both heard someone said from outside

taehyung's eyes widen, "we have to keep quiet" jungkook sat in the corner on the floor, taehyung sat next to jungkook placing his head on his shoulder.

"we will wait for them to leave and then we will go and start grabbing them all" jungkook said

"what is the plan?" taehyung asked
