they had just finished wrapping up a case study and again taehyung was the only one who was clever enough to get the right answer and of course his group was not happy about it. they were now in the field as there was an announcement.

"today we have been notified that there are renovations being done to this campus so we will have to leave early. tonight we will be doing a hunt around the hills and then at night tomorrow we will be playing spotlight as a fun night before we head back" sir says

"this camp is a fun experience that every officer gets to enjoy, these tranings get harder- so keep that in mind" 

it was getting darker and they had already had dinner as officers were handing everyone torches.

"you all will be in your home groups and your leader will give you all a map, this is a team work exercise once they give you the map you follow it find the hidden item and bring it back" Sir says

once everyone knew the rules all groups went outside and the leaders handed one person the maps.

"who wants to be leader?" jungkook asks as jack puts his hand up

jungkook laughs in his head rolling his eyes internally but still hands jack the map.

"you guys have 30 minutes go" jungkook says setting a timer.

jungkook watched the group walk off to the forest focusing his eyes mainly on taehyung who was following behind them. once jungkook could not see them anymore he sat down and waited.

"I think it is this side" jack says following the path as him and his friends try to scare each other.

it was dark and a little cold.

by this time jack says they seem to be close to finding the treasure as sir likes to call it.

they were reaching quite close to the hill so they all turned their torches on "oh mine is broken" jack says

"can I use yours taehyung" jack asks taehyung who nods handing him his only wanting to help the team.

jack takes it turning it on and walks fast towards his friends, taehyung rushes as well trying to catch up.

"we found it" jacks friends said as they grabbed the box and started walking down the hill.

they were all walking on the path as taehyung was trying to get closer as he couldn't see.

taehyung walked close to the edge one of jack's friends saw him and nudged him, taehyung eyes widen as he tried to keep his feet on the ground but squealed as as fell off the hill rolling down the steep hill until he hit a path.

taehyung let out a painful cry as he felt sharp pain on his thigh and his head hit the ground. it was so dark and taehyung felt tears run down his face.

he looked up the hill to see his team looking down and shrugging walking off.

jungkook saw that his team was coming back and walked closer towards them

"chief we found the item" jack says handing jungkook the box who nodded opening it to see a bunch of sour lollies

"yum" jack says as his friends nod jungkook hands them the lollies for their price as he looks up at everyone, then looks around to see there was no taehyung.

"where is taehyung and why do you guys have an extra torch?"

"we dont know" they say shrugging not minding at all that someone was missing

jungkook snatched the map off of jack and rushed towards the field to grabbing a torch from his belt.

he grabbed his intercom, "this is chief jeon we have a boy named taehyung missing in the forest, over" jungkook calls out looking at the map following the trail.

"we will keep an eye out, over" namjoon calls out.

"that is my bestfriend, find him!, over" jimin yells through the intercom.

jungkook was a little surprised that jimin knew taehyung but did not think another second of it.

he walked up the hill to see foot prints, he froze hearing little cries.

"TAEHYUNG CAN YOU HEAR ME" jungkook yells out

"J-JUNGKOOK H-HELP" taehyung yells out in pain as jungkook rushes closer to the edge flashing his light towards the bottom to see taehyung on the ground

"shit" he says out loud as his heart stops seeing taehyung crying on the ground.

jungkook slides down the hill and lands on two feet crouching down by taehyung

"what hurts?" jungkook asks

taehyung cries in pain, jungkook frowned realising that he could not talk- he was in that much pain that the only thing that could come out was cries.

jungkook runs his hands over his legs checking his hands, thighs and lifts his hands seeing blood. he wiped the blood on his own pants before running his hands through taehyung's hair to see blood again.

jungkook grabs his intercom.

"I found him, get nurse kim ready, over" jungkook says lifting taehyung up in his arms.

he walked fast across the path already knowing his way back since, he rushed towards the nurses office to see jin there with equipment

"lay him there" jin says pointing to a bed

"there is blood from his thigh and head" jungkook say's wiping taehyung's tears

"hey tae, my name is jin I will be your nurse for today, I will need you to take off your pants so I can see what is happening it is up to you if chief jeon goes or stays" jin says

"p-please dont go" taehyung holds onto jungkook's arm who nods looking at jin.

taehyung pulls his pants down as jungkook looks away, letting taehyung clutch onto him.

"there is a stick in your leg taehyung, I dont want you to look though" jin say's as jungkook moves his arm from taehyung grasp and wraps his arms around taehyung's neck making sure taehyung's face was on his lower chest area

taehyung would have been blushing if he wasn't in so much pain, he hid his face more in jungkook's lower chest area and wrapped his arms around him.

jin pulled the stick out as taehyung screamed and cried, jungkook held onto him tighter as taehyung screamed. he was hyperventilating jungkook pulled away and put both of his hands on taehyung's cheeks.

"you're okay, breath for me" jungkook says as taehyung shakes his head breathing heavily

jungkook felt his heart break seeing taehyung like this.

"im going to have to stitch him up" jin said rushing to one of the cabinets. jungkook looked at what jin had and nodded towards him as he slowly moved to the side. 

"n-no n-no n-no" taehyung mumbles panicking and moving around all over the place.

"its okay taehyung, he is gonna make sure you dont feel anything" jungkook whispered to the male who was looking up at him. he watched jin place something over his mouth. 

"I will stay here, dont worry" the black-haired male said 

"the joys of anesthesia" jin replied and sat back down on his chair as he started to stitch taehyung's thigh. 

"how will this affect his training and all that stuff?" jungkook asked. 

"he is very lucky that the stick did not do any strong damage, it definitely would of still been painful but these stitches are obviously just so his cut does not get infected and if he can keep his thigh clean and from exposure for I see a day, then everything should be fine" jin replied

"so if it went deeper?" 

"yeah it would of been really bad, he is lucky but also how did he even fall?" jin asked

"not sure yet, but I will find out" the officer replied.

"you got a soft spot for him?" jin asked 

"maybe" he whispered back in reply. 

"deja vu for you isnt it" jungkook smirked looking at jin who chuckled "maybe".

"all done" jin says wiping the stitches trying to move away any blood.

"I am just gonna check his head" jin whispered, standing up from his seat and brushing his hand through taehyung's hair. lifting his hand up to see a little blood. he started to slowly seperate the strands of hair and found a small cut. 

"everything okay?" jungkook asked worried when he saw the blood on jin's gloves. 

"he is gonna be just fine, he has a super small cut on his head but nothing to worry about. it may sting when he washes his hair so he should put that off for a few days. 

"I have to go inform the boss what had happened take him to my cabin please; thanks jin" jungkook says and left the room. a few minutes had gone by and jin had already taken off the mask and cleaned up a little as he waited for taehyung to wake up. 

"w-where am I?" he heard the male mumbles and groan. 

jin turned to look at taehyung who was slowly trying to sit up.

jin brings in a wheelchair helping taehyung sit in.

"you had a bit of a fall taehyung, you had a stick in your leg- but luckily it did no damage. a few stitches but nothing serious."

"you have a small cut on your head so try not use shampoo for a few days or it may sting." jin replied

"thank you for taking care of me, it feels like i have been crying for hours" taehyung replied

"it may feel like that for a little while, im gonna take you to your cabin so you can get some rest" jin said smiling when taehyung thanked him.

"you're jimin's bestfriend right?" jin asks

"y-yeah how did you kno-" taehyung starts but gets cut off

"jimin talks about you all the time" jin cuts in as taehyung nods

jin wheels him up the ramp pushing jungkook's door open and wheeling him in

he helped taehyung get on the bed. "try stay off your feet tonight and tomorrow then your thigh should be healed" taehyung sighed as he laid down on the bed.

jin walked towards jungkook who was on his way to the cabin.

"how is he?" jungkook asked jin who smiled

"he is okay, just quite sleepy. make sure he doesn't get up, he needs to rest as much as possible and he should be fine tomorrow"

jungkook nods.

jungkook walked to his cabin opening the door and walking inside to see taehyung on the bed.

he shut the door behind him and walked towards taehyung who was now looking at him.

jungkook sighed sitting next to taehyung, "how are you feeling?" jungkook asked

"sore and really tired" taehyung says to jungkook whos nods

"how did you end up slipping?" jungkook asked

"I got nudged off" taehyung says bluntly not caring anymore, he could of died.

"did your group not help you?" jungkook frowns at that thought

"they were the ones who caused me falling down" taehyung says not caring to hide anything anymore

"you dont seem surprised?" jungkook says looking at taehyung's facial reactions

"I have been in there class for years now, its not anything new" the brunette says sadly 

jungkook felt really bad that someone as nice as taehyung got treated so poorly.

"they wont be passing anyways" jungkook says causing taehyung's head to shoot up

"really? why?" he questions 

"it is required for people to keep their team and collogues safe, everyone's well-being is important" jungkook says

"and they dont have that, im lucky enough to be able to decide who has passed and who hasn't" jungkook continues.

"thank you chief jeon" taehyung says super grateful

"call me jungkook when it is just us" jungkook says as taehyung nods smiling.

"it is getting late, have you eaten?" jungkook asks standing up

"yeah I have" taehyung says

"you get some rest, I will grab myself something to eat" jungkook says

jungkook walks out and takes a breath.
