the long weekend was over and everyone was back at home continuing with their busy lives, around the end of the year is always the busiest for everyone- especially the police force it always seems to be like that around the end of the year.

more crimes seem to happen, people go crazy for the new years. they were all back at work and it was busy there were officers walking around everywhere carrying files filled with cases- taehyung was in his office alone working on harry's case.

he was so close to finishing but he had to write a few reports and think of the impact of harry's life after if he gets let out which the new officer hoped for.

jungkook was in his office in a meeting with a few bosses about up coming plans and how things are going to work for the new years as everyone goes on long holidays some officers do some shifts and some people stayed to earn money.

taehyung was walking through the halls and swiped his card to enter a inmate block, the door opened and he moved inside making sure the door closed behind him before walking.

he walked into the cafeteria and walked up the stairs to harrys room, there weren't any officers around only because the people in this section were trusted and were mostly older people who were in the prison for minor things.

taehyung reached the door and knocked on it, he heard a little come in and smiled once he opened the door and saw harry who looked at him in shock.

"you're back!" he says jumping up and hugging taehyung who smiled and hugged back.

"yes I am back and ready to get you out of here, I just wanna catch up see where your head is at- ask a few more questions and then I have to write a few reports and grab some evidence and then we can talk to the boss and then a jury" taehyung says clapping his hands as he walks on sitting on harrys desk chair.

taehyung started talking about his conversation with his bestfriend tobi and what he said and all the evidence he has.

"he is worried you hate him and his misses you heaps" taehyung said looking at harry to see him smile sadly

"i miss him too and I could never hate him, I dont blame him at all cause if I had a kid and was being threatened I would shut my mouth as well" harry replies

"your a good man harry" taehyung said causing harry to smile

 taehyung and harry talked for about an hour and a half, until harry had to go eat and taehyung decided it was best to go back to his office. they bod goodbyes and taehyung rushed to his office shutting the door behind him.

he sighed walking towards his desk and smiled feeling the necklace against his neck, once they got home from the trip jungkook and him have been glued to each other. jungkook was very clingy- everywhere taehyung went jungkook followed.

the day before work taehyung was sitting on the couch and jungkook came out of nowhere and ran to him sitting down and pulled him into his embrace so taehyung was laying on his lap.

taehyung remembered how much he was blushing but jungkook acted like it was nothing, he just threaded his hands through his hair. 

the male smiled at the memory while he opened up his computer and logged in, he was half doing actual work and half doing his own searching.

taehyung was really wanting to find a house for himself, he is still young but he was becoming very successful and earning good money and he wanted to get his own place- dont get him wrong he loved being with jungkook in his house but he just wanted something that was his and was new.

taehyung saw a few houses he liked, that were quite hidden and had a back garden and a decent fence, he was a little bit over protective  of himself because of the recent advents that had happened when he was in the dorm houses.

there was a knock at the door causing taehyung's head to snap up when he heard the door open

"hi baby" jungkook said poking his head out from the door, taehyung's heart skipped a beat hearing the nickname

"h-hi" taehyung smiles looking down shy, jungkook smirks at the cutie and walks towards him- he bent down to kiss his cheek.

"what you doing bub" jungkook asked looking towards the laptop screen and frowns

"you looking for a new place?" jungkook asks looking at taehyung who nods

"what why?" jungkook said with a little disappointment in his voice.

"I have always wanted to get my own place and I have been earning well money, it has nothing to do with you gguk" taehyung comments feeling bad when he heard the hurt in jungkook's voice. taehyung stood up from his seat

"I just want to own a house, I know I am still young but instead of moving around everywhere I just wanna settle somewhere" taehyung said leaning against his desk.

jungkook sighed and walked towards taehyung wrapping his arms around his waist.

"im going to help you look for one, I want you to be safe" jungkook says smiling when taehyung pecks his lips.

"im glad you will help me" taehyung smiles and leans back 

"I have to go to a meeting but after we can leave and go check some houses? if you see one you like would you have enough money to pay for it?" jungkook asked receiving a nod from taehyung

"okay" jungkook says pecking taehyung's lips

"see you soon babe" jungkook says before pecking his lips one last time before leaving.
