With The Burgess Family in Portland, Maine.

Nicole Burgess, Kannan Burgess, Archer Burgess, and Kim Burgess, who had just turned 16 years old stood by their mom, Patricia Burgess, who was a great mom raising them, and they loved her a whole lot. Her husband Calvin is away on business.

Patrick said," Okay, kids. I have letters saying if you got accepted into racing school. Would you all like to open them together?

Nicole said," Yes, please, Mom.

Kannan said," Yes, please, Mom.

Archer said," Yes, please, Mom.

Kim said," Yes, please, Mom.

Patricia handed them their letters, and all of the kids opened their letters from the racing school.

Nicole looked dejected and said," I didn't get in. They rejected my application, mom.

Patricia said," I'm sorry to hear that, honey.

Kannan looked dejected and said," I didn't get in. They rejected my application, mom.

Patricia said," I'm sorry to hear that, honey.

Archer looked dejected and said," I didn't get in. They rejected my application, mom.

Kim finally opened hers and smiled and said," Mom, can we please talk in private?

Patricia said," Of course, sweetheart.

They head to The master bedroom.

Kim quietly said," I got in, but I don't want my siblings to know because I don't want to hurt their feelings even worse now, mom.

Patricia said," I appreciate you not boasting about you getting into racing school to your siblings. I'm sure they will appreciate it.

Kim said," You're welcome, Mom. When will Daddy be back home home from his trip?

Patricia said," He gets back tomorrow at 10.

Kim said," Okay, Mom. I love you so much.

Patricia said," I love you too, Kimmy bear.

Nicole Burgess, Kannan Burgess, Archer Burgess, and Kim Burgess then head to bed.

The next morning at 10 o'clock, am.

Calvin comes home, and Kim is dressed in a red knee-length skirt with black tights, a blue shirt, a white jean jacket, and red boots, and her hair was in a bun/ponytail.

Her mom was still sleeping, so she hugged him and whispered," I got into racing school, but don't tell my siblings. It'll make them sad, and I don't want them to feel sad.

Calvin said," Ok. We won't tell your siblings. We'll go out to celebrate and say I got a promotion which is technically true, Kim.

Kim said," Congratulations on your promotion, Daddy. You deserve it.

Patricia woke up and made breakfast.

Patricia said," Welcome home, my love.

Calvin said," Hi, my love. How was the week without me? Kids give you any trouble?

Patricia said," perfectly well-behaved angels. I was having morning sickness sick, but it turns out I'm pregnant.

Calvin said," I'm excited to be a dad again.

He hugs his wife, and they share a kiss and Kim cooks breakfast, and her siblings come downstairs already dressed, and the family eats breakfast together and have a fun time.

They spent the whole day together and went out to eat dinner together as a family.

Calvin took them to a nice steak restaurant and said," I have something to tell you all. I got promoted, and we're moving to Manhattan, New York, first thing next week.

The family congratulated their dad/husband and hugged him tightly. Calvin paid the bill.

The family headed home and headed to bed.
