Antonio signed as his mom threw up again.

The pregnancy had been hard on his mom.

The divorce also didn't help their situation.

They had divorced when Elliott Dawson, Gabriela Dawson, Ramona Dawson, and Antonio Dawson were 3 years old after they had caught their dad Ramon cheating on their mom with another woman.

Then his mom met and started dating Tony Stark, and they started dating and got married in a year. They had kids, Yasmine Stark, Hillary Stark, Cassius Stark, and
Adrian Stark right after the honeymoon.

They are 15 years old now and very smart.

Antonio said," I wish I could get buy more  medicine for your morning sickness mom, but we barely have enough money to buy groceries and pay bills. This is not the life you should have. I will become rich so I can get you more medicine to make you well again, mom.  I don't want to lose you, mom.

Camilla said," Antonio, it doesn't matter to me. All I need is a great son in my life, and I do.

Antonio said," Please let me do this, mom. I can't lose you. You're my mom, and I need you more than you will ever know, Mom.

Camila said," Hey.... it's... ok.. Antonio. I... love... you....my....son. Rememer..be...strong.

Camilla's water then broke, and  Marcus Stark Mary Stark, Hayes Stark, and
Charlene Stark was born healthy, and after that, His mom Camilla passed away.

Antonio started crying while he held her hand. He couldn't believe he had just lost his mom. She was the only one whom he cared about. She supported his dreams for years.

His step-dad came home along with Yasmine Stark, Hillary Stark, Cassius Stark, and
Adrian Stark saw Antonio crying and Athena unmoving on the couch, and he was devastated.

Tony softly asked," Antonio, what happened?

Antonio said," Mom passed away from her pregnancy. What are we supposed to do now?

Tony said," I don't know, Antonio. Get a job and pay for the funeral expenses. That's all we can do at the moment, unfortunately, Antonio.

Antonio said," Okay. I'm going to go on a walk.

Tony said," Alright, see you soon, Antonio

Antonio went to his room, gathered up what money he had left over, which was a lot walked to the store, purchased a laptop, and is looking for a job. He saw Dolan Rhodes was hiring, and he filled out an application.

Antonio made dinner for him, his step-siblings, and his step-dad.

Antonio then heard back, and they accepted his application right away . He had an interview for tomorrow at 12 pm.

Antonio went through his closet and selected a long-sleeved blue button-up shirt with nice khaki pants and a pair of black dress shoes.

He got a shower, dressed in PJ’S, brushed his teeth, and headed to bed for the night.

The next morning.

Antonio made breakfast for himself and ate.

Antonio then washed his dishes and headed upstairs to his bedroom to get ready for his interview at Dolan Rhodes. He was nervous.

He got dressed and used the last of his money to book an Uber to the store and back home. He hoped they hired him today.

He needs the money for business/economics classes, especially if he wants to own his own business someday. Which will be soon.

He got his references, resumes, and a list of  questions as well on his notebook finished.

He heads to the Uber and buckled up, and Uber takes him to the Dolan Rhodes store.

A girl with dark hair and brown eyes noticed him and said," Hi. I'm Izzy Lightwood. Connor Rhodes will be with you in just a moment.  have a seat and wait.

What Antonio didn't know was that Izzy Lightwood was actually a shadowhunter undercover because there were reports of demons in the Dolan Rhodes store recently.

Antonio nods and says," Thank you, Ma'am.

Antonio sat down in the chair and waited patiently for his name to be called out.

Connor said," Antonio Dawson. I'm ready to interview you now.

Antonio took a deep breath and walked inside.

Antonio talked about his experience selling clothes and how he was good at it.

Antonio handed Connor his references and  resumes for him to look over, and Connor looked everything over, and he nodded at everything he was seeing.

Connor said," You're hired. You start now.

Antonio said," Thank you, Mr. Rhodes. You won't ever regret giving me a chance.

Connor said," You're welcome. Let's get started working now. Here is your uniform.

Antonio heads to the bathroom and gets changed into his uniform, and starts working right away, making jewelry.

Antonio took college business/economics classes, and boy, they were brutal.

What Antonio didn't know was that his step-dad Tony Stark was actually rich and owned a bunch of business but he wants everyone to work hard and earn their own way in life so they can see the meaning of hard work and Antonio sees the meaning of hard work. He really does.
