Here's the problem. A lime wizard has recently went missin'- sources say he relatively was younger than most, about 100 years apart from others. He disappeared last week durin' an outing in this very town.

Been troublesome narrowin' down a place, however...

There's a chance Asta got somethin to do with it. How ironic, ain't it? Two fruit wizards involved on opposite sides of a potential deadly crime...

More importantly, though, his brother might be the same age as the lime wizard... Could be possible they know each other.

''I tried so hard to be nice, i really did! But this kid...he had such a bitter attitude!''

"I know what you mean. Kids these days really gotta lighten up a bit more."

''Exactly! Or at least give workers a bit of respect!''

"Do anythin these past few weeks?"

"Realized most of the time when we come in here we mostly talk 'bout me...What have you been up to?"

''Aww, that's silly! We talk about me plenty...''

''Hmm...i really can't think of anything exciting...''

''Ah! I have been testing out this new recipe for a cherry brownie recently!''

''Maybe next time you come here you could have a bite, you can be my little taste tester, hehe!''

"Brownie, ya say...?"

Well, i'd do anything to eat a cherry brownie. Sounds delicious.

...But that info didn't help me at all.

"Did ya hear what The Everlasting did yesterday?"

''H-Huh? What did they do...?!''

"Some jackass claimin to be with The Everlastin tried stealing from one of the Council members."

It wasn't true, actually. I made it up to see if A had a strange reaction.

A, not failing to dissapoint, looked like he was gonna choke on his own drink.

''R-Really?! You've got to be kidding! To do something like that...-''

He took a deep breath in.

''That's just horrible! Awful, even! Did anyone get hurt?''

"Thankfully, no. They imprisoned the sucker behind it, though."

A looked like he was about to say something, but quickly closed his mouth.

If i had t' say one thing 'bout A, is that he ain't much for hesitating.

Somethin here's obviously wrong.

God fucking dammit...No matter where i do or say, i always get lead into another fuckin dead end.

''Is something wrong, O?''

"No, no...Don't worry 'bout it too much, A. You got any boxes or bags i can put this in?"

''Y-Yeah, but your leaving already? You didn't even take a bite...''

"I'm sorry, A. I just...got a lot on my mind right now. I'll see ya again, though!"

A packed away my pie slice, tryna force a smile. Felt bad for the guy, but...my mind's too clouded with work at this moment.

''But...can you keep your promise please?''

"Will do. See ya, A."
