the coasters have come to a stop, finally reaching the said destination. jungkook pulled out one of his earbuds and looked around, stretching his arms as he did so. a grin made its way on his lips and he stood up.

"rise and shine, y'all! we're here!"

he shook everyone awake, purposely hitting yoongi a little harder than the others just because he wants to annoy his hyung again. everyone started to wake, slowly coming to their senses and looking out of the vehicle, seeing the fancy fountain just in front of the entrance and all their schoolmates filing out of their own coasters. jin and hobi both stood up and helped the others with their stuff.

yoongi's already up but he still doesnt wanna open his eyes nor get up, his nose scrunched up but his body leaning against taehyung comfortably. he mightve forgotten that the boy was beside him because he suddenly snuggled closer and ended up falling asleep again.

namjoon glanced at the two and smirked as he saw just how cuddly they look. "look at these two fools."

after he said that, tae started mumbling something under his breath before making grabby hands, whining as if looking for something. jin laughs at the sight and nudges yoongi, making yoongi fall just on the younger's lap, taehyung's hands circling around yoongi and finally stops mumbling.

hoseok raised a brow and grinned impressively. "i guess tae's needy too even if he's asleep?"

"oh, hyung. you dont know just how much of a baby that boy is..." jimin piped up after gathering his things, snapping a pic of the two.

jungkook rolled his eyes and nudged namjoon. "hyung! i wanna go now! i want to use hyung's gift already..." he finished with a pout. the older sighed.

"okay okay, hold on." he said and nudged yoongi and taehyung.

tae opened his eyes, his hands coming up to his face to scratch his eyes. "where are we?"

"we already arrived like fifteen minutes ago. now up, so we could all check in and go to the beach or something..." jin informed the younger.

tae nodded and let out a yawn before standing up, only to end up sitting down again when he noticed the weight on his lap. his eyes hover down and widened, seeing a sleeping yoongi on his lap, the boy's fringes covering his eyes.

"w-what is he d-doing here?" tae asked, pointing at the male on him. jimin laughed at his reaction.

"hyung and the others transferred here during the stopover. you were sleeping then and we thought you didnt mind so we allowed them to sit with us." jimin said, gesturing to the others who were there.

taehyung's mouth forms a small 'o', as if finally understanding what happened. he then looks down at the boy on his lap and brushes the fringes off of his face. "shouldnt we wake him up?"

namjoon shrugged. "you should do it, i guess. he's there on you anyway."

the younger gulped and looked down once again before slowly, carefully shaking yoongi's shoulder. yoongi opened his right eye and looked up at taehyung, who was taken aback that he almost stood up.

"h-hyung..."

yoongi then sat up and stretched his arms wide. "are we there yet?"

"actually, we've arrived like fifteen minutes ago so if you dont mind..." jungkook said in a duh tone as he rolled his eyes at the older. he grabbed his own bag and hopped off of the coaster, leaving the others behind.

"what's got his ass on fire?" yoongi asked as he stood up and gathered his things. namjoon looked out and saw the youngest standing by the fountain, his dslr hanging around his neck, a pout visible on his face.

hoseok shrugged and hoisted his bag up around his shoulder. "come on so we can check in."

they all went out of the coaster and gathered around before lining up to the front desk so they could get keys for their rooms. just as what they have predicted, each room could only accomodate two. jin, as the eldest, ended up having a room all by himself, much to yoongi's dismay. he's sick of being in the same room with namjoon, but then, who could blame him anyway? they've been sharing a room for years that they have memorized the sleeping habits of each others.

namjoon locked yoongi's head using his arm and ruffled the older's hair. "guess we're stuck with each other forever, my favorite hyungie."

yoongi scrunched up his nose and tried getting out of the younger's grip. "namjoon i swear if you dont let me go now, im going to kick your ass."

"if you can catch me, midget." namjoon teased, sticking out his tongue. he released yoongi and ran ahead, their room key with him. yoongi's eyes widened as he took off to chase the younger, his bag still on the floor where the others are.

"yah, come back here!" they heard from a distance, yoongi's voice coming out as a growl. hobi and jungkook just laughed before dragging their friends' stuff with them.

jin cant help but chuckle. "are they always like this?"

jungkook grinned. "oh you guys havent seen the worst. they wrestle, i tell you. one hundred percent wwe material."

they all agreed to split up first to settle in their own rooms and just meet up at the beach bar twenty minutes after. taehyung and jimin went off to their own and placed their bags on the floor before they plopped on the bed.

tae propped himself up using his right elbow and faced jimin. "jimin?"

the older opened an eye and raised his brow. "hmm?"

"do you... do you think namjoon and yoongi are... you know..." tae fiddled with his fingers as he tried finding the right word.

"a thing? is that what you mean?" jimin asked. tae bashfully nodded and looked down. the other sighed and got up to sit across the younger.

"look, tae. i dont know, we cant be sure. i mean they are pretty close, they've been sharing a room for years, and they are a little too playful and maybe intimate, too, but it could be platonic. i dont want to keep you hoping for something that would end up hurting you, but i hope that you dont end up digging yourself a deeper grave." jimin said softly, as if the people outside their room would hear him if he spoke in his normal tone.

he lifted tae's chin with his finger. "let's just enjoy this small getaway, okay? no more yoongi and all that. for now, yoongi is just a friend, forget about your crush on him for a while. forget all yout problems and let yourself be free just this once. you can do that, right?" jimin smiled, patting tae's head before he stood up and dragged their bags to the cabinet.

taehyung closed his eyes and sighed. he realized that jimin's right. whatever namjoon and yoongi have, it could be platonic, it could also be something more complex than that. as much as tae likes yoongi, he cant just focus on the boy all the time. he should give himself time to be free of his thoughts and worries and just be happy.

jimin was about to enter the bathroom when taehyung called out his name. he stopped short by the door and looked at the boy on the bed.

"thank you, for everything." taehyung said with a smile. jimin grinned and nodded.

"get changed so we can go out to the others."

after changing into more comfortable clothes, the two went out to the beach. most of their schoolmates are already in their swimming clothes, playing in the ocean or just laying on the mats they placed on the floor, probably getting a tan. they went to the bar and found the others sitting by the counter, each with a drink in front of them.

"nice, are those margaritas?" jimin said as he sat down beside namjoon. tae sat beside his bestfriend and faced the others.

yoongi shook his head and lifted up his glass. "nah. just some punched soda. like seriously, i cant even taste the alcohol, it's like soda but it gives you the warm feeling when you drink it straight up."

jimin pouted and turned to tae. "looks like we cant have fun, taetae. these oldies here are boring. should we go somewhere?" he said with a smirk. someone scoffed, no one noticed who though, but it surely isnt beside jimin nor taehyung.

"oi, you better not plan on getting tattooes, you two. i was so against those piercings but i was nice so i let you, im not letting tattooes anymore." jin said, raising a brow at his two friends at the other side.

"you ended up getting piercings too, though..." tae pointed out. jin blushed and drank his soda in one-go.

"i-it looked pretty on me, okay?" he defended.

jimin puffed out air from his mouth and sighed. "im seriously bored, though. can we go do something?"

hobi made a move to stand and yanked jungkook with him. "we're gonna go ask those guys there if we could join. wanna come?" the older offered, pointing at the people playing beach volley just by the coconut tree from a distance.

a smile broke out on jimin's lips and he hopped off of his seat. "im in! let's go!"

jin sighed and stood up. "tae, wanna go check out the stores by the beach?"

taehyung nodded, he doesnt have anything to do anyway so why not? it's better than just sitting his ass on the high chair or locking himself up in the room.

he glanced back and saw yoongi looking at him, making him let out a small gasp. he played with the hem of his shirt and bit his lip. it was the first time he saw the boy showing much skin, only wearing a white tank top and some black basketball shorts. although there's a sweater around his waist, it didnt do much to cover much skin.

"d-do you guys wanna go or...?"

yoongi smiled and shook his head. "nah, im gonna go back to the room after i finish my drink."

tae felt a bit sad and just nodded before turning to namjoon. the boy just grinned and shook his head. "im gonna pass. who knows what this grandpa's gonna do. he might drown himself in punched soda and someone needs to be here to sto—ow! why'd you hit me?!" namjoon said as he massaged his arm. yoongi gave him a sarcastic smile and looked at taehyung.

"dont believe him. i have high alcohol tolerance, dont worry about me."

the younger's heart felt warm at that that it made him smile, the brightest today he's ever done today, and nodded. "okay then. see you guys later."

jin bade goodbye too and the two started walking when yoongi called tae. the boy turned around and saw a flustered yoongi scratching the back of his neck.

"t-take care, okay?"

taehyung smiled yet again, nodded, and finally.

he gave yoongi a wave that mightve made yoongi drown... figuratively speaking.

this is srsly crap and a filler chapter... i feel so bad.

i mighve written this while on the verge of sleeping... but i really need to publish this now so...

anyways, sorry for the late update! a lot of things happened lately so i had to stop writing for a while. i did say im still gonna write but i lost inspiration because of what happened so...

idk if anyone cares but I SAW BANGTAN LAST SEVENTH OF MAY THOUGH DJDLHWDNDJ i might post a chapter about everything that happened but idk where to put it. should it be here or in one of my other fanfics? :3
