there was a mix. something of a little excitement, of course the happiness, but also the nerves were hitting him hard right now. it seems like jungkook was always in a situation like this when it came to the brunette.

clothes littered the floor and an empty suitcase was on his bed, all he had picked out were his slip on vans and one of taehyungs hoodies to bring. jungkook packed a hoodie that wasn't his to bring to hawaii. of all things.

speaking of the boy, the older came walking in to the bedroom and whistled at the sight, "damn kook, i left two hours ago." taehyung said, "how far did you get?"

jungkook was laying on the floor with his eyes closed, hoping to take a nap but not anymore obviously. he just whined and pointed at the suitcase on the bed for his hyung to look into.

"if you plan on walking around hawaii in just a pair of pink vans, i'm going to have to stop you."

he giggled, rolling over onto his tummy and looking up at the older, "did you bring lunch?"

taehyung smiled down at his boyfriend, "of course." he held up the brown paper bag of takeout and laughed lightly at the ravenette clapping his hands. that boy could really eat nearly all the time yet remained so tiny.

"i even got those veggie rolls." the brunette sat down on the floor across from the other, opening the bag and pulling out some napkins first, then came the white cartons of takeout, orange chicken for the older and glazed tofu for the vegetarian, all on top of noodles and vegetables.

"ugh i knew i loved you for a reason." jungkook made grabby hands for the food, not noticing how the older froze, for once in all their encounters he was speechless. "ignore that." the ravenette caught on to what slipped past his lips, "let's just eat."

"oh no, we'll get back to that one." taehyung chuckled, handing the boy his food and a set of chopsticks. jungkook just ignored him and focused on his cheeks reddening and the noodles in his cartoon.

they ate for a bit, talked about random things and teased each other with flirty comments, most of those coming from the brunette of course. "you know," taehyung said, finally changing the topic and letting the boy try not to blush so much, "we leave in three days and you're barely ready."

jungkook glared at his boyfriend and threw one of his chopsticks at him. "no shit. i'm trying. i only own sweaters."

"alright, let's go shopping." taehyung tossed the trash in the brown paper bag and stood up, "i need some shorts anyways."

"can i pay this time?" jungkook asked, getting up for his phone and following the other down the stairs to his fancy cadillac outside.

the two walked out to the sidewalk and the door was opened for the younger, "i spoiled you when we were friends, imagine what i'd do now that we're boyfriends." taehyung said, leaning down to peck the raventtes lips.

"if we were still in my bed would you show me what you'd do?" jungkook blinked up at the brunette with bright innocent eyes, every innuendo that could be made ran through taehyungs head and he went to open the passenger door again, "okay no shopping today-" he tried to say, but jungkook locked the door and put his seatbelt on and pointed to the drivers seat, "get in."

taehyung huffed and stomped his way around the front of the car, getting in and pulling out to the road. "we have to go to the mall, they have the one store with summer clothes." he said, glancing at the gps on his phone.

the drive was quick, the mall not being so far away, the boys inside and walking to the shop within twenty minutes. "how long will we be in hawaii?" jungkook asked, the two were holding hands and he was swinging their arms as they walked into the shop.

different shirts and t-shirt hung on racks, all summer colors made of lose fabrics and nothing for the cold weather of seoul.
"3 weeks." taehyung said, taking off a pair of shorts from the rack, a pale pink color and keeping those for the younger to try on. he grabbed a gray pair for himself.

"wow." jungkook breathed, that was a long time to be on vacation. he couldn't help but smile knowing it would be 3 weeks of nonstop time with taehyung.

"what do you think of these?" taehyung held up the pastel pink shorts and watched the raventtes jaw drop, "i want eight pairs." he said, letting go of the olders hand to find the rack and grab more. "this will match my daisy sweater taehyungie!"

this went on for a few hours, the piles of shorts and t-shirt's with palm trees or flowers were stuffed in shopping bags and tossed in the back of the cadillac. jungkook even wanted a camera to finish up his 'tourist look.'

the sun was down as they drove home, taehyung actually let the younger pay for some since he was trying to save more for the actual trip. "do you want some hot chocolate when we get back?" the brunette asked, turning on the street he lived on.

the apartment building was close, the cadillac pulling in across the street where the only
open spot was. jungkook grabbed some bags and started to think of what hoodie he would take from his boyfriend this time. "yes please, do you have any of those strawberries?"

taehyung chuckled, taking the bags that wouldn't fit on the others arms, "for you, of course." he said.

the younger smiled, following behind the taller boy to the apartment building until going all the way to the top where his place was. "go upstairs and change, i'll make the hot chocolate." taehyung said, setting the bags down on the floor and going to grab the mugs.

"okay." jungkook said, leaving the bags beside the others and running up the stairs to grab the certain hoodie that was very big and comfy. he left his jeans on and went back down a few minutes later.

the hot chocolate was made, a bowl of strawberries balanced in one hand while two mugs were in the other. jungkook noticed his boyfriend standing by the window, the one that led to the fire escape and up to the roof.

he could feel the breeze already, not excited for the cold but really wanting to see the city lights again. jungkook grabbed the blanket off the back of the couch and went to meet the older at the window. "i'll take that." he took the bowl of strawberries to help out, making it easier for taehyung to hold both mugs and climb out. "thank you." he said.

it was cold, but the blanket helped, wrapped tightly around jungkooks shoulder despite wanting to share. "i'm okay." taehyung insisted, holding onto his mug and walking closer to the edge of the building.

the ravenette followed him, shuffling behind and slipping his arms around the older boys waist, his forehead against taehyungs back.

"hello there." taehyung chuckled, putting his hand over the youngers smaller ones over his stomach.

"pay attention to me, not the lights." jungkook pouted, tugging them both away from the edge and loosening his grip so the older could turn around.

"are you jealous of the city lights, little angel?" taehyung asked, resting his finger under the boys chin and lifting his head up. "you brought us up here, talk to me then." jungkook pouted.

"do you remember the last time we were up here?" taehyung asked, moving his arms back down to the boys waist and swaying them slightly to no music except the beating of their hearts. jungkook nodded, leaning his head on the others chest and closing his eyes. "you told me you wanted to treat me like your baby."

taehyung laughed lightly. jungkook loved the sound.

"do you know what i want to tell you tonight?" he whispered quietly, that deep voice that sent shivers down the youngers spine and he knew he could listen to him forever. "hm, tell me." jungkook said, tilting his head with a soft smile.

"that, i love you." taehyung said, his eyes seriousness and still swaying their bodies back and forth at a gently pace. jungkook didn't even realize his fingers had slipped under the hoodie to graze against his bare skin. "i love you jungkook." he said again, a smile on his face now as their noses brushed, the distance between them somehow decreasing even more.

if he could put into words how he felt right then, jungkook would need a lifetime trying to figure out how to perfectly define the happiness he had in his heart and the love that was there for this boy in front of him. the adoration flooding through his body made him sure his heart would burst any second, and god that smile.

"i love you." jungkook said back, somehow his voice didn't waver and his smile grew even bigger, realizing he said what's been on his mind and in his heart. and there was no greater feeling then knowing the other boy felt the same, and how'd they would spend forever feeling this way, in a perfect world crafted by them to live in together.
