He was staring out the window, watching a few birds build their nests for the spring. They flew around outside in the large-open garden, the bright blooming flowers bringing much needed color to the land – after the months of cold and stark white winter.
He propped his elbow up upon the windowsill and placed his head into his hands, his deep blue eyes sparkling as he watched the birds. It had been, months since he had begun living with his lover. Kakyoin’s own delusions had sank into Jotaro himself, and now, they both were living some twisted fantasy. There were moments, heart pounding and reality shattering moments when Jotaro came to his senses. When everything would sink in once more, the blood. The horror. The fact that, every day he woke up beside a monster.
A soft touch upon his arm, made him jerk up to attention. He turned to look, at the ever-gorgeous Noriaki.
“You’re going outside, c’mon.” the redhead said, with a small smile. The dark-haired male rose an eyebrow.
“Why are you making it sound so special? We go outside all the time!” he gestured through the window behind him, as he swung his legs over the windowsill so that he was sitting up straight. His lover chuckled a little, and he patted the taller’s head.
“We go into the garden, all the time. I’m taking you out.” he grinned and retracted his hand, stuffing it into hs pocket and pulled out a wad of cash. “You’ve been behaving well, lately, so – his is your reward.”
Jotaro stared. He sucked in a breath, and glanced behind himself – staring at the fence that had barred him in for so long. Outside – with other people? He swallowed, and a fleeting thought flickered across his mind. Escape.
The intangible prospect of running from the siren before him, finding somewhere to hide. Maybe even get in contact with his remaining family, if Joseph would even want to see him. Kakyoin’s sharp gaze landed on him, and narrowed. He could see the gears turning in his lover’s head. Perhaps, this wasn’t such a good idea.
“And, please, JoJo,” he purred out and he cupped Jotaro’s face, his seemingly cold touch jerking the Joestar’s mind to the present. His fantasies shriveled up and died on the spot, as he was pinned by the redhead's blazing gaze and slick tone. “Don’t make me have to punish you for indecent behavior.”
“No! No,” Jotaro laughed and he stood up embracing the shorter, who stiffened with surprise. “I’m just so happy – to be able to go out with you... I hate being in this house all alone when you go out for work or supplies.” he felt like his words were made of tar, slipping off of his tongue in vile coiling lies.
He hated the feeling that flooded into his chest. The male couldn't’ believe his own feelings. He felt guilty whenever he lied to Kakyoin. He felt gross every time he thought about escape. The redhead had perfectly molded his own thoughts and soul. Jotaro found, that somewhere in his heart – he really still did love the other teenager.
Noriaki pulled away, laughing softly. A soft flush was upon his face – and he kissed Jotaro on the cheek. “I see. Now, hurry and get ready! The world awaits us!”
The dark-haired male nodded, and he went to grab his shoes.
[---]
They were walking down the street, hand in hand. The street was busy, flooded with students to the elderly all enjoying the fresh and warm air. Couples like them were all around, hands intertwined and leaning into each other’s personal space soaking up the other’s company, as soft whispers passed between them. For a moment, everything fell into perfect peace. Jotaro was able to close his eyes and melt into the feeling of Kakyoin’s hand in his. He could feel the fluttering tension between them again, as mutual feelings of affection were sprung back and forth. In small gestures and smiles. It was almost, as if he was in the past. When they had first started their littler romance.
A time when he had been blissfully unaware – that the hand he held, had been coated with blood before.
His eyes snapped open. He stared at the ground, but tried to keep his merry façade up as much as possible. If he let it slip, it could be deadly. Noriaki didn’t like to see Jotaro sad, or distressed in any minor way. And if, the male was distressed because of Kakyoin it wouldn’t matter. The redhead had a tongue made out of sweet, honey dipped lies. A tongue that could manipulate and twist one’s mind with his smooth venomous voice. Jotaro glanced around trying to find something to latch his thoughts onto, to distract himself. He spotted a wooden post, a telephone line. Stuck upon it were missing posters, fro animals to people.
His own face stared back at him. His hand slipped out of Kakyoin’s grasp. The male trembled as he stepped up to the post, surprised. He tore it down, and tears began to slip down his face. Someone, had hung this up here – miles away from where he had lived in effort to find him. Hell, he wasn’t even sure he was in the same district of Tokyo anymore. Noriaki frowned, and he stepped up beside him. The paper was tore from his hands – the redhaired male’s knuckle went white as he gripped it.
“What the hell were you looking at this for?” he accused, and tore the paper in half. The pieces fluttered to the ground. “Thinking of going home, hm, JoJo?”
The taller male took a step back, every day, Kakyoin grew less predictable. The slightest mistakes set him off now. He stopped. He straightened out his back, he had spent enough time cowering. He hadn’t played into this psychopath's hand only to back down – now that his chance of escape was so near. He hadn’t allowed himself to slip into delusion an almost lose sight of his goal, to back down now. He was a Joestar.
“You know what,” the dark-haired male snarled through his teeth. Behind him, flickered a shadowy image. [Star Platinum] had been unable to manifest, due to Jotaro’s broken will. He had been gaining strength though, he had been forging his walls again. Forcing the images of domestic life with Noriaki away. Shattering everything he once admired in the redhead, replacing it with the vile creature he knew him to be. “I am going home-!”
He choked. Trembling hands grasped at something that was around his throat, and he watched as
[Hierophant] materialized before him, already unraveled. Noriaki, didn’t say a word. His silence was deafening though, as Joaro felt his body shudder, as something slipped into his ear. The taller’s blue eyes widened, their color sharpening into a panicked ocean. Kakyoin hadn’t trusted him at all. The green-spirit creature had been gently wrapped around him the whole time. Waiting, for him to slip up. Jotaro – had never had an upper hand.
He was, once again, one step-behind. He growled, and attempted to summon [Star] but, the Stand didn’t appear – he tugged at his soul, but in his heart, he already knew there was fighting this.
He could feel [Hierophant]’s tendrils slipping through his muscles and wrapping about his nerves. A vile and grotesque feeling that he couldn’t describe, as his whole body jerked in awkward ways trying to dispel the intrusion.
Noriaki sighed deeply, and he tsked. His lover’s body went limp, as he lost all control of his own limbs – his face, however was pulled into an expression of horror and pain. The redhead admired this for a moment, before growling out. “I really thought I had gotten through to you, JoJo, Yet, it seems, you still need to be taught where your place is, darling...so, we’re going home.”
He gripped the male’s collar, and dragged their faces close – purring his sinister promise upon the Joestar’s lips, “And are going to have some fun...”
