This proves that even from the start of the anime, Kishimoto already had SasuSaku in mind. So everything that happened from their first meeting to Naruto's wedding was written with SasuSaku in mind. So Kishimoto had the idea of putting them together even when Sasuke left the village, when he called her annoying the many times, the times he nearly killed her, the times she tried to kill him, the times he left her, all those times, Kishimoto knew Sasuke was going to marry her. So there was actually thought behind all these moments.

This is from The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring Manga. And it's true, he did claim that Sakura wasn't weak and that she could handle the man that captured her all on her own. This backs up the fact that he believes this because she was able to save herself in Sakura Hiden when she went to fight Kido Tsumiki, an ANBU executive and a high-ranking member of Root, the man whom she found to be the one behind copying and disguising himself as Sasuke. She defeated him all on her own and no one else's help, and Sasuke knows this because he saw. So he'd never called her weak, because he knows that she can take care of herself.

This is so true, if you think about it. He only spent a year knowing Sakura, then he left the village and spent three years with Hebi, where Karin actually was. He really could've loved Karin, someone as clingy as Sakura. But this is proof that even though he knew Sakura not as long as he knew Karin, that that one year he knew Sakura, he fell in love with her during that span.

Now tell me.

According to Naruto, what does it mean to be a ninja?

The word "endure" is a very important word here. To endure means to withstand, to bear with resistance, to never give up, no matter the consequence or obstacles.

Sakura never gave up on Sasuke. Gave up her love for him, I mean. Even when he left the village for years after their marriage, her love for him never wavered. Same for Sasuke, his love for her stayed strong and never broke. Which leads to this:

This is what makes SasuSaku a strong and inspiring ship. That the two of them can love each other long-distance, that their love continues to endure past the obstacles in their way, that they still love each other with all their heart. That's the amazing thing about SasuSaku and why it deserves more recognition in the states.

Now finally, I can go on and on about this one.

When Sasuke left the village, we all remember that Sakura yelled that she loved him and pleaded with him not to go. At that moment, the camera doesn't even show Sasuke's face, it only shows his back.

This is the scene that they never showed but that they should've shown. Because there are so many different reactions Sasuke could've had. It would've been normal to show Sasuke's annoyed face that he uses around her all the time, Kishimoto would've shown that. But if they decided not to show his face at the moment, it could only mean that they wanted to hide it. They wanted to hide how he truly would've reacted, and that he loves her more than he thinks.
