So he needs strong belief in himself to suppress the curse mark. Remember the first time the curse mark went rampant during the Chunin exam arc? And this is without the seal, but who was the one person that was able to suppress the curse mark WITHOUT Kakashi's seal?

Sakura really did mean more to him that early into the series. She was one that made him believe in himself when he couldn't. That action was the one thing that was able to make him actually control the curse mark and suppress it. And clearly, once we reach Boruto, I completely forgot Sasuke had that curse mark. He still does, and the seal's obviously been broken. But he's a different person, now. He's married to Sakura, and their love is connected. And we've all completely forgotten about that curse mark because her love for him has been his strength to stay strong. She's his strength to pull through. 

All this time, from their very first mission, SasuSaku was right in front of us. We just never realized it... Well, I never realized it until some time ago. 😅

Honestly, though. Why else would Sasuke have run in front of Sakura like that? She was ready to defend Tazuna, but he ran in front of her to defend her as well.

And if this isn't proof enough to show SasuSaku exists, I don't know what is.
