🍒Epilogue🍒
Destruction
Two points of view.
Cherrys tormentor just happened to be the one and only recently deceased Pat.
Once she was able to mutter those simplistically easy words that she always mutters to send a spirit off to another plain, Pats spirit ended up drifting away along with others before her that very night. Thankfully.
Since that horror filled night that Pat was vanquished sending her spirit far away from here, things around here at the mansion have taken such a dramatic turn.
Edge ended up having to have another spell cast upon him by Taz to rid him of his obsession with my Cherry and I'm just grateful that this time it actually did worked. Once the spell was done he turned right back into his old self.
He then proceeded to apologize to my Cherry profusely, he even went as far as buying her, her own damn car. A sixty nine mustang that's oddly enough painted cherry red. Needless to say she fucking loved it.
Him and Gage have since made up and moved in together into a house that River had built just for them on the mansion grounds.
A three bedroom one bath beauty.
Cherry did eventually end up forgiving Edge for what he had did to her that horrible night but she still always keeps a very cautious eye on him whenever him and Gage come around. I can't blame her for that though.
Dax is still living the single life, he has flown through tons of women since him and Teagan called it quits. A true man whore he is. With the worst reputation of being an all around low down sleazy ass cheater.
He is now dating some big bosom woman that oddly enough has striking pink hair. She's a well known stripper that works in Sins Shop, but who knows how long that shit will even last though. By this time next week he may just decide to switch her over to someone new. Like he always seems to do.
Teagan has amazingly gotten back together with her true mate. Now she is seven months along and pregnant with a boy, its her first baby and this time it seems to be actually for real. Since she's actually showing this time around.
Her and her true mate seem happier than ever but we rarely see her anymore. I myself don't mind that a bit. She was never been my favorite person to begin with in all actuality.
Gage and her have made up also, with him living with her for a while after him and Edge separated, they actually started working on mending their broken relationship while he was staying with her and now that he's going to be a first time uncle he couldn't be more ecstatic about it.
I'm kind of glad that they did end up mending their relationship though. Gage seems so much more happier now and he just loves the idea of spoiling his nephew rotten.
So much so that he and Edge are now taking about adopting a child of their own now. They have been searching all over for a good adoption agency. Luckily they ended up finding the perfect one for them. So far they have their eyes set on a little tyke of just five years old named, Topan, he's a cute little bugger that's mischievous as hell.
His poor parents died horrifically in a car crash when he was just three. I really hope that they will be able to provide him with the home that he so deserves, one with a loving environment and fulfilled with unlimited laughter, to help him take his pain away and someday be able to come to terms with what happened to his parents.
Taz also found her chosen one about year ago, she's absolutely beautiful, a long dark hair vixen beauty with soft hazel eyes that is amazingly also a witch just as Taz is.
Taz couldn't be happier about it, she's also turned into somewhat of a small celebrity around town. Since she was able to help my Cherry out like she did, people come to her from miles around, they have been coming to her for help with their own problematic mates.
She says she's owes it all to my Cherry for her amount of fame and notoriety that she currently has, but my Cherry just brushes her off stating that it was all Taz's doing.
That's my Cherry for you, always thinking of others and always putting them first.
We also decided amongst ourselves for us to get into another business. Since ours was putting a heavy strain our relationship with my Cherry.
Now we are all in the tech game. We have published an abundant amount of games for not only some rather big top notch companies but also for the smaller ones that are up and coming in the gaming industry.
We have managed to pull ourselves up to the highest ranking in the industry and ended up being the most profitable business around.
Our billion dollar company known as the Blossom Inc. Gaming, is fast becoming more popular than probably any of our known competitors.
My father and mother has also visited the mansion a few times since that night my father out right just threatened me to take my rightful place on the throne.
On their unplanned visits to our home my father always manages to slip in a comment or two about him still wanting me to take over for him but I always end up refusing him. He hates when I do it but I can't help to love riling his ass up.
Parker and I no longer communicate with each other, not since the night he wrote my Cherry that damning letter.
I have no idea what's happened to his ass since then.
But Rocket did miraculously end up meeting someone else.
To no one's surprise by my Cherrys, Rocket ended up being one of my cousins mate, Gerald, and him and Rocket are the strangest damn couple that I have ever meet though.
Gerald is Pansexual, which confused the hell out of Rocket at the time. I always tend to get a laugh or two about them every time they come around to visit.
Cherry and Gerald absolutely love each other though. But who wouldn't absolutely love my Cherry?
Sauntering into the backyard, with a tray full of hamburger patties to cook up on the grill, I spot the woman of my dreams instantly.
She's sitting down on the swing that I caught Dax and Teagan on the night I was planning on breaking into the mansion to actually kill her.
Which gives me chills whenever I think about it now. How could I have been so damn foolish?
Now she has turned my entire life around, for the better.
She's watching the others play touch football while we are all barbecuing for the Fourth of July holiday.
The beautiful smile that she has on her face as she watches her mates goof off while trying to play the damn game sends my heart rate skyrocketing.
How did I get so damn lucky?
We have been on her consistently about having children with us.
She was adamant when we first broach the subject up to her about wanting to wait to get pregnant, that she just didn't want any children, not just yet anyway.
She thought she was just too damn young to start a family.
To be honest when she turned us down about having kids with us it did break my heart a bit.
I so wanted to start a family with her but she held strong and firm in her convictions on the pregnancy matter.
Now it's been almost a year and half since then and she still hasn't decided if she truly wants to start a family with us or not.
Although, I tell myself that I just need to be patient with her I still at times keep finding myself longing for what I can't have. Not yet anyway.
Sitting the tray of hamburger patties down beside the grill, I let out a long sigh as I start to place the patties on the hot flaming grill, one by one.
"Why are you so glum Des?" Her sweet mesmerizing voice echoes up to me like a soft melody to my ears.
I feel the sparks shoot straight through my arm as she places her tiny hand gently on my bicep.
I close my eyes momentarily just to enjoy the whimsical feel of the tingles that my heart brings to me.
"Just grilling the burgers up love. Who's winning?" I rush to to tell her wanting to change the subject quickly. I don't want to ruin our relaxing day with a load full of my own selfish worries.
"Don't lie to me Des. Why aren't you out there playing football with them?" My Cherry ask me. I can never get away with trying to hide my true feelings from her.
"Someone needed to cook the burgers Cherry. Besides, I really never was much good at it. I always seemed to end up losing my temper whenever I tried to play it." That much is true.
My demon Wrath side would never allow me the patience to deal with the other teams that we were playing up against.
"Just give a try Des. I'll watch the burgers. You're allowed to have some fun today also." Cherry tries to coax me sweetly.
"Nah, I'm fine. If I can remember correctly I don't think you're allowed anywhere near the food. Not since the last time you tried to cook for all of us." I half laugh at that. Cherry is the worst cook imaginable.
The last time that she tried to surprise us with a meal she actually ended up causing a grease fire that we almost wasn't able to get under control fast enough.
Luckily for us, I used my abilities to snuff out the rising fire in the kitchen rather quickly.
"At least I tried and how hard could grilling burgers actually be?" This time I do laugh.
"Cherry it's more complex than it looks alright baby. Just sit back down and enjoy watching the game." I hint to her desperately.
For some strange reason I just feel like spending some time with myself today, just me and the grill, as I try to calm down my inner wavering thoughts that's been haunting me more and more lately.
"Fine but I really think you should join them. It would do you some good Des." She states before she saunters off back to the swing.
I watch her as she goes over my shoulder, very intently.
I can't believe how much I truly do love this woman. She came crashing into my life when I thought that I had nobody left in my life that truly did love me.
I was estranged from my family and I had just lost my girlfriend Juanita whom I thought at the time was the one and only true love in my life.
But Cherry came swooping into my life like a damn savior on a pure white stallion and just stole my heart away from me.
I just don't why it is that here lately all I can seem to concentrate on anything other than starting our own family with her.
Lost up into my own musings I didn't even notice Taz and her chosen mate, Alissa, enter into the backyard that is until I caught a slight glimpse of her chosen one, Alissa step up to me.
"Are the burgers almost done bubba? Because we have a surprise waiting for you and the others if you can manage to drag yourself away from the grill." Alissa taunts.
She has been calling me bubba non stop every since the day she and I first met. Don't ask me why, but for some strange reason she just loves teasing the hell out of me.
"Just a few more minutes to go. What's the surprise anyway? Are you and Taz finally going to buy that house that you two have been scooping out?" I question her as I drag the last set of the burgers off of the grill.
"Nah, we decided to go another route. Come on bubba, I can't wait to show you what we have in store." She states cryptically as she drags me away from the grill by my hand excitedly.
She drops my hand away from hers as soon as we both meet up with the rest of people in the backyard.
My Cherry is standing front and center in the crowd along with Taz standing directly beside her. Alissa strolls over to the two of them as I walk closer over to my brothers and the rest.
With River to my right and Scratch standing just to my left. I stare over at the trio of girls that are before us confusingly.
Brax, Roman, and Micah are on the far side of River waiting patiently for whatever the girls have in stored for us.
"What are we doing Cherry pop?" Brax inquires, he voices my very own thoughts to them.
"Just wait and see big boy. Be patient." Alissa grumbles to him.
My Cherry along with the two of them all huddle up in a mini circle talking lowly to each other mysteriously.
"Do you know what's up?" Scratch questions me.
"No but I wished that I did." I mumble tersely to him.
I start to get anxious at all three of them as my patience starts to wear a bit thin.
I need to get back to grilling up some more burgers for this damn holiday. I don't have the time to waste on whatever the hell this mysterious surprise shit is.
As the time starts to drag on, I begin to bounce on the heels of my feet while my my aggravation starts to spike up slowly.
"Whatever the hell it is? It sure is taking them a long time to show us. They need to hurry this along already. I so need a damn shower." River complains beside me. I just nod my head to him agreeing wholeheartedly with his ass.
"Cherry baby can we maybe speed this thing up? We all have things that we need to get to." I try to hurry her along just a bit.
"Patience Des. This stuff takes time." Taz inserts firmly. I scoff deliberately over at her.
"What takes time?" Roman ask, I can tell immediately that his patience is also starting to wear thin too.
"Okay I think we are all set." Alissa announces gleefully.
"Bout damn time." I complain while scrubbing my hands down my face roughly.
"Alright. I need you Des to step over here." Taz points her finger to where my Cherry is standing. She wants me to get directly right in front of her.
"Now River and Scratch I need you two to get on each side of her." Taz instructs them both. Scratch and River hesitantly get in position, on each side of my Cherry.
"Now the rest of you, if you don't mind can you please get in right behind Des." Taz ask them as she points behind me.
"What are we doing Cherry baby? Is this some type of weird game of musical chairs?" My tolerance is failing me as I stare over at her while folding my arms across my chest. She sprinkles me with one of her dainty laughs.
"No Des this far more better than that. Just wait and see." I groan as I wait for the others to finally get situated behind me.
"Alright now we can begin. Can each of you do me a small favor? I need to look straight up into the air just right above Cherish's head." Taz instructs once again.
With a ragged sigh I obey her as I raise my head to look up right above my Cherrys head.
While my head is raised skyward, I notice that the stars are starting to come out along with a light half moon shining down upon on all of us with a cloud slightly covering it.
"Is this what we're doing Taz? Looking up at the night sky?" I murmur to her with my head still lulled back.
"No silly just watch." She giggles then starts reciting an incantation that I couldn't even try to translate even if my ass could.
As she goes on speaking those incomprehensible words staggeringly fast, Alissa soon joins in with her, they both are mumbling some mumbo jumbo as I keep looking straight up.
Then not a second later I begin to see right above my Cherrys head a cloud of smoke that's changing colors right before my own eyes.
It started off as a gray and black mass of swirling colors then begin to change to a combination of pink and blue. The swirling colors weave and wave with each other soothingly.
Then little sparkles of the same colors come flashing right out of the swirling mass as a brilliant mixture that's in perfect harmony.
The light show that proceeds the mass of swirling colors fly straight up into the night sky.
As they get to certain destination in the sky they start to explode in dramatic fashion.
The popping sounds that emit out of the fireworks show start to form tiny letters up in the night sky.
I scowl up at them as I try to decipher what they are trying to spell out.
Then my eyes go extremely wide when I read the final word in the sentence that's hanging up highly in the night sky.
It's a boy and a girl!
My head jerks down to my Cherry instantly. The broaden smile that she has on her face as she waits for our reaction to the amazing light show is fucking ethereal.
"Cherry baby are you?" I ask her as I hold my damn breath in with anticipation flooding all through my ass.
I hear everybody yelling happily around me but I block them all out my only focus is on her right now.
"Yes." She stammers out with a light airy giggle.
I stand there in front of here frozen like a damn statue right in my damn boots.
"Really?" I finally find my voice.
"Yes." Damn I love the sound of that.
River reaches her first.
"Hot damn I'm going to be a dad!" He screams as he lifts her up right up off of the ground.
"Put her down man. She's pregnant asshole." Scratch pipes in. River cautiously sets her down back on her feet, "Damn Cherry you're making us parents? How long have you known?" He ask as he places his arm right on top of her shoulders gently.
"I'm two and half's months along, I just found out yesterday morning while I was out with Taz and Alissa." Cherry tells him with a genuine smile planted right on her beautiful face.
"Fuck I can't believe this. Cherry pop you have made me the happiest damn man alive." Brax boasts while he wraps Cherry up into his broad arms. She places her head right down on top of his chest lovingly.
I just keep staring over at her unbelievably.
"Cherry sprite, this mean that we're going to have two little sprites running around the mansion very soon. I can't believe it. Thank you so much baby. It's all that I ever wanted. Well besides you." Rome tosses out while prying Cherry away from Brax.
He also wraps her up into his arms while placing tiny kisses right on the top of her head.
"My turn. Cherry tart this by far is the most amazing news. I can't wait to see my little tarts in your arms. I hope they both look just like you." Micah shyly asserts as he whisks Cherry out of Romes arms and into his own. Micah grazes his lips right on her forehead.
"Go bubba she needs you too." Alissa demands from off to my side.
"I'm nervous Alissa. I wanted this for so long, now that I have it I actually don't know what to do at this point." I admit to her nervously.
Alissa nudges my side to push me a bit closer to my Cherry. "Just go." She demands gruffly.
I edge my way over to my Cherry anxiously.
"Cherry baby?" I almost whisper to her.
Micah releases her so that she can come over to me. As she stands before me, my eyes flick left and right as I peer deeply into those beautiful ice blue eyes of hers lovingly.
"Thank you." I croak out to her. She tilts her off to the side as observes me thoroughly.
"Is this what's been bothering lately Des? Have you changed your mind about having a family with me?" She ask me nervously. Is she kidding me? How could she even think that of me?
"No Cherry baby. It's what I have been dreaming about for almost two years now. I really want a family with you baby. How could you think that I didn't? Cherry baby you are the love of my life. I want to spend the rest of my damn life with you. I also wanted to share our love that we have for each other with our child. I just thought that you wanted to wait a little longer." I explain to her earnestly.
"I was just scared Des. I didn't think that I was ready to be anyones mother. I just needed time." Cherry implies logically.
"What changed your mind?" I honestly need to know.
"You did. That night when I saw you with Topan in the living room while we were babysitting him for Gage and Edge that's when I knew that I was ready. You changed my mind about being a mother Des. When I saw how great you were with him and how much you loved being with him I just couldn't wait any longer." My heart swells in my chest as I hear those sweet words leave her lips.
I changed her mind? Me? Now I feel a sense of pride engulf within me.
"I'm so glad that I was able to change your mind baby. I can't believe we're actually having two of them. We need to start picking out names and fix up a nursery for them. We also need to go buy some toys and clothes. Oh we also need to stock up on some diapers. And we need to start up a college fund for them too. We have so many things to do. I don't know where to actually start?" I vomit out as I drag her body flush up against me tenderly.
"Whoa there Des, the first thing you need to do is to take a damn breath. We will get all of that for them but there's no rush. Especially for those college funds. They aren't even here yet." River laughingly tells me.
My Cherry lets out a light giggle at that.
I bring her closer to me fully inhaling her sweet scent as I drop my head down to nuzzle my face deeply into her supple neck.
All of my worries that were consuming me earlier just fly away from me like sand in the wind.
I drop to my knees right before her and place both of my hands on her still tiny stomach as I imagine her plumped up pregnant with my babies.
Placing my head against her stomach gently, I angle my ear right up against it, hoping that if I just listen hard enough that I may be able to hear their little heartbeats.
"Des I'm starving maybe we should go ahead and eat now." Cherry mumbles to me.
I yank my head back from her stomach as I throw a light chuckle up to her when I start hearing her stomach rumbling out dramatically.
"I guess we do need to feed the little Destructions." I perk up while I stand back upright before her then I drag her over to the picnic table to hurriedly to feed my little devilish darlings.
As I go to fix her up a full plate of goodies I plant the biggest damn smile right in my face.
I'm finally going to be daddy. It's fucking amazing to say the least.
Cherry has just made my entire life complete. Not only do I have the most perfect woman as my mate and the love of my life, we are also now expecting our first children. Children. We're having two Des, I correct myself. Two little Des's running around.
Life just can't get any better than this right here.
Not ever.
Cherish
After finishing up are little party I trudge my way to my new bedroom while my mates are nicely cleaning up for me downstairs.
Well not exactly mine alone, I also share the new bedroom with all of my mates now.
Sometimes it gets a bit cramped up with all of us in just one bed but I wouldn't have it any other way.
I knew that my mates longed to start up a family with me but at that time I wasn't truly ready. I was far too frightened about the idea of becoming a mother.
Especially, one that was so young.
So I waited even though they were all reluctant for me to wait they eventually just ended up accepting what I wanted. Which was to wait.
Now that I'm pregnant I couldn't be more ecstatic about it. The only problem that I'm having now is how damn tired I have been feeling lately and the endless morning sickness sure doesn't help either.
But regardless of all of that I am actually the happiest that I have ever been in my entire life.
I can't wait to finally meet my two little dumplings.
Entering into our bedroom tiredly, I run into a wayward spirit just as soon as I opened the bedroom door.
The woman standing at my bedside table looks to be about in her sixties and oh so lost.
"Hello my name is Cherish and I'll be your spirit guide. What's your name?" I ask her softly. I can only imagine how this may be for her.
"I'm Ethel, where am I exactly?" Her trembling voice nearly breaks my heart.
"My home. You have passed from this world to move on to the next. I will help guide you there. Are you ready?" I ask her gently. She starts to get a bit more apprehensive.
"I guess." She anxiously tells me as she twiddles her thumbs before her.
I take in a breath then whisper the words to send her off on her unknown journey into the after life.
This never gets any easier. Sometimes I can understand just why my mother made a warlock mute her powers.
Shutting my bedroom door behind me I turn to lean back against the door expelling a long drawn out sigh.
Some people say they can't live with the ghost of their past.
But I live with their ghost everyday single day of my life.
The End!
Hope you enjoyed it. Later peeps.
