Ethan

You let out a huff as you got out of your car, making your way towards your lawyer's office. Standing tall, you watched as Jimin joined you, standing next to you. He gave you a nervous smile, causing you to place a soothing hand on his shoulder.

It had been a solid month since the incident with Mr. Min, and ever since, he's been harassing you, Seokjin, and Jimin. He kept making poor attempts at blackmailing you into exchanging either Seokjin or Jimin so he could turn them into Kpop stars.

During this time, you had brought home around 9 or 10 men, all of which were not men of importance. Each had tried to make you cum but was unsuccessful in such attempts.

Now, here you are, tired of Mr. Min's blackmail and ready to sue his ass off or get a restraining order. If you could have it your way, you want both.

Strutting into his office, you place the recording of Mr. Min threatening to leak your new product, along with phone records, and emails that he had continued to spam you with.

Your lawyer looks up at you, eyebrows lifted before adjusting his glasses.

"Are these all the records of Mr. Min's harassment and blackmail attempts?" You nod your head, letting out a sigh of frustration as Jimin's work phone starts ringing. Jimin looks over at you and gives you a look of worry. You simply give him a small smile. "And he's still calling?" You and Jimin nod simultaneously before he lets out a laugh. You arch a brow while staring at him.

"What's so funny, Mr. Lee?" He simply smiles at you before standing up, letting out a soft cough as his laughter dies down.

"What's funny is how easy of a case this will be," he says before pointing towards Jimin's phone. Jimin hands him the phone with a curious look on his face. He silences the loud ringing before handing the phone back to him. "He isn't even trying to hide the fact that he's harassing you. You'll have a restraining order within days."

"I'm glad to see that you still exude the confidence that you had the last time I saw you, Mr. Lee," You say with a smile. "But, I do have another favor to ask."

Mr. Lee looks up at you with raised eyebrows.

"A favor?"

"You'll be representing three clients in this case, Mr. Lee," you say as you sit down on the chair across from his at his desk, pulling out information about Seokjin and Jimin. "You see, he's been harassing not only me, but my staff as well. Apparently he has a history with my chef, Mr. Kim Seokjin. He's been trying to recruit him for a Kpop group that Seokjin wants no part of. Since he declined the offer, he's been trying to get Mr. Park Jimin, my right hand man to fill that spot instead."

He furrows his eyebrows as he examines the large pile of emails that have been sent to Seokjin and Jimin. He stacks the pile onto your share of emails and phone call records before coughing.

"I've never represented this many people in one case before," he says with a stern look on his face. "However, I don't want you thinking I'm incapable of representing the three of you. Though I lack experience, I can handle a case with this much evidence against the opposing side." A smile spreads across your lips as you nod your head.

"Mr. Kim Seokjin couldn't make it to the meeting today due to him not seeing the seriousness of this situation. Apparently since Mr. Min has been doing this for a while now, he's grown used to it and no longer sees it as dangerous," You cross your arms and lean back in the chair. "I, however, see this as a very serious situation."

"If you can convince him to come in and accept my willingness to help, I have no problem representing this man," his eyes drift over to the quiet Jimin standing by the door awkwardly. "I'm assuming you're the right hand man? Mr. Park?" Jimin slowly nods his head. You wave him over so he can sit in the seat next to you. He slowly sits down, sitting with his legs pressed together and hands folded in his lap.

"Y-yes, sir. I'm Park Jimin." Jimin says before stretching out his arm, extending his hand towards your lawyer. Mr. Lee gives him a comforting smile before allowing his hand to grab Jimin's, a firm handshake taking place in front of you.

"Tell me, Jimin," He says while leaning back in his seat. "Why do you look so nervous?"

"Mr. Min threatened Y/N telling her to fire me. I'm worried he'll still bother us even after this lawsuit is finished. I can't lose my job with Y/N. I've never had a boss as understanding and kind as her." You smile over at him before gently resting your hand on top of his. His blonde hair falls over his forehead as he glances down at your hand touching his. His wide, innocent eyes meet yours and you give his hand a gentle squeeze.

"Jimin, I promise you, I'm not going to fire you." He looks to the lawyer expectantly with his shiny eyes, a look of hope displayed in his orbs.

"Mr. Park, I promise you, if this man ever comes near you again, I will personally go out of my way to make sure he's locked up for violating the restraining order," he gestures towards you with his hand as he fixes his glasses with his other hand. "Besides, from the sound of it, Ms. Y/N sounds very serious about this. With her line of business, I know she can hire you a bodyguard to keep you safe, if you're worried about him going to you directly."

Jimin looks at you once more, eyes pleading with you as he silently asks if that's true. You nod your head and Jimin's shoulders immediately relax. You've never seen Jimin this worried in his entire time being your assistant. He's usually the one seeing you worry like this, not the other way around and that worries you. You let out a soft sigh before looking back to you lawyer, ready to listen to his instructions to deal with Mr. Min.

Once you arrived back home, you watched as Jimin started to walk upstairs to his room. You immediately walk into the kitchen, grabbing onto a red apple sitting in the fruit basket. Seokjin is sitting at the dining table, reading a newspaper while eating some cereal.

He glances up at you, his black hair falling over his eyebrows as he stares up at you. His plump lips are coated in his lip balm from last night, causing you to glance down at his lips while he places the spoon into his mouth. He then places the newspaper down, glancing at you as he chews.

"Where were you this morning? I was ready to make you breakfast but you weren't home." Seokjin mumbles with a mouth full of cereal as he leans over the cereal bowl, preventing milk from getting on the table from his mouth. His broad shoulders relax as he sits back once he swallows his cereal.

You stare at the man, pressing your lips together as you hear how loudly he eats. You can hear every slurp of milk, every crunch of the cereal and notice that he sometimes chews with his mouth open.

"I had a meeting with my lawyer." you say. He nods his head at your words before taking another spoonful into his mouth. His mouth makes a slurping noise as he eats the cereal, some milk dripping down his plump lower lip. Your mind drifts off thinking about his words from the previous day, causing you to bite onto your lower lip.

"Craving cereal?" Seokjin asks as he catches you staring at his lips before he leans back, letting out his soft windshield wiper laugh while watching your reaction. "Why'd Jimin go straight to his room? He sent a text saying he wanted me to make him something for breakfast when you two got back."

"He's... going through something," you say, glancing at the kitchen door before turning back to Seokjin. "I think he's really anxious about this situation with Yoongi." Seokjin's eyes slightly widen as his lips part.

"Ah," He says before he places his spoon into the pool of milk with floating bits of cereal. He places both hands flat on the table as he leans in slightly. "Have you ever considered why Jimin is such a good assistant for you?"

"He's organized, understanding, always on time, helps calm down bad situations, and-"

"He's a perfectionist, Y/N," He says before grabbing his spoon and pointing it at the kitchen door before gesturing upstairs in the direction of Jimin's room. "Jimin good at his job because he's a perfectionist. He hates making mistakes and cries over small mistakes, mistakes that even you and I wouldn't notice in the first place. He's worried about Yoongi because he thinks you'll see this as an excuse to fire him for any past mistakes he's made." You furrow your eyebrows as you glance at the door before shaking your head.

"But he's never made any mistakes." You say. Seokjin grins before speaking.

"He has, he's just corrected every mistake faster than you could catch them. He's a perfectionist and enjoys being praised for doing a good job. He'll get over this once he gets some extra praise and told he's doing a good job."

You let out a soft sigh before nodding your head slowly before getting an idea.

You walked with Jimin to the restaurant, eyes covering his face as you walked up to the entrance. His small hands rested on top of yours as he hesitantly kept taking steps forward.

"Keep walking?"

"Yes, keep going. Okay wait watch out, there a curb in one, two, three." You say and Jimin steps carefully onto the curb, still managing to trip as you grip onto him more tightly. "Jeez, I told you there was a curb." Jimin softly laughs before you two step into the restaurant, the cool air hitting both of you.

"Can I look now?" You nod your head before you decide to remove your hands from his eyes and he glances around. He slowly turns to you before smiling widely. "My favorite restaurant? What's this for?"

"Just thought I'd do something nice for everything you do for me," you say before smiling at the waiter walking towards you. "Besides, we haven't hung out as friends in a while, it's been a lot of business lately, which I'm very sorry about."

"Ms. Y/N, your table is ready!"

"Ethan, I know you're supposed to be formal for other guests at the restaurant, but we've known each other for years!" You say before softly nudging Ethan. You let out a soft laugh as he nods his head, slightly rubbing his arm on the spot you gently nudged.

"Okay, Y/N. Your table is this way," He says, gesturing for you and Jimin to follow him as he leads the way. He takes you to a private area of the restaurant.

As you step into the hidden area of the restaurant, Ethan nervously steps aside to let the two of you sit down at the U-shaped booth. He hands you the menus before bringing up a notepad and pen in his hands, ready to take your order.

"Do you already know what you would like, lovebirds?" Ethan asks before his eyes land on you. You lift your eyebrows before looking over at Jimin, who looks equally as shocked. The two of you burst into a fit of laughter while teasingly scooting closet to one another. Jimin eventually scoots directly next to you, wrapping an arm around your shoulder with a wide smile on his face as he speaks.

"Oh, princess? I know something you can eat." He says with a smirk. You let out another loud laugh before slapping your hand softly against his hand as he pretends to grope you. You push him away from you, causing Jimin to roll onto his side as he laughs, lying down on the plush material of the booth.

You look up at Ethan, wiping the tear from your eye as you give him a smile.

"We're not dating. He's my best friend." You say before Jimin sits up in the booth, his face sporting a shocked expression. You arch a brow as you see the happiness glimmering in his eyes.

"Best friend?" He asks. You nod your head as he smiles widely. "Aw, Y/N. I didn't think you'd dump me this way. Don't tell me you're going to tell me the classic 'it's not you, it's me,' line next?"

"Oh shut up, I'm pretty sure your latest partner wouldn't appreciate you joking around about being my man," You say before pushing him back down onto the seat of the booth. "Besides, I don't even think you could handle me." Jimin laughs once more as you roll your eyes and turn your attention to Ethan, awkwardly standing as he fiddled with his pen.

"S-so... you're single?" He asks. You let a sly smile spread on your face as you nod your head. "You don't mind me asking for your number then?"

"Not at all," you say before grabbing his pen and notepad from him and scribbling your less used phone number on his notepad.

What, you didn't think you'd deal with another guy like Min Yoongi spamming your phone again did you? No, you're far too smart for that.

You smile up at Ethan as he puts the notepad back into his pocket.

"Thanks," he says with a smile at you. "I'll see you around."

Onto what's going on in the world!

So, first off, I saw a study the other day that discussed how some Chinese students who came to the US to study are regretting coming to the US. I'm so sorry that a Cheeto puff made any of these students feel this way. First, they had to deal with the debt that comes with leaving their homes homes to come to the US is already an issue, but the fact that this pandemic is being blamed on people's races is making their experience in the US even worse.

This disease isn't a race problem: it's an ignorance problem. China got rid of a majority of their cases by using smart tactics like keeping everything closed and having people wear face masks. This disease is not a reason to treat people who PAY to attend school here rudely. This stupid "Chinese virus" phrase shouldn't be said, it's racist. This virus would be gone right now if people were smart enough to wear masks. So if anyone's "dirty," "spreading the virus," or any other stupid remark anyone makes about Chinese students or anyone who moved here from China, it's not them, it's the people refusing to wear masks. Quit finding reasons to be racist, spiteful, and rude to other races. It's gross.

Also, speaking of this virus, idk how many times people need to hear LITERAL HEALTH EXPERTS SAY THIS: wearing. A. Mask. Is. Effective. And. Theres. Been. Multiple. Studies. That. Show. It. Just wear a fucking mask and quit being ignorant and racist towards others.

Onto BLM, I saw a study that said that 93% of BLM protests were peaceful. A majority of any protests you see on the news that portray BLM protests in a negative way are usually violent bc white supremacists show up and ruin the peaceful protest. I would say cops too, but as they say, "you match the description," and I include them in the white supremacist group as of rn bc the violence they're doing as well.

I saw on the news that a black man (of course the news never says the black man's name so I had to dig for it) named Daniel Prude was detained by police. However, it's obviously not a normal arrest, bc it never is. He was having a mental health episode and basically freaking out in the middle of the street while naked. A family member called the cops to try to calm him down. What do the cops do? Put a bag over his head (apparently called a spit hood), push him onto the concrete while he's NAKED in really harsh cold weather which could've gotten him sick (and it probably did get him sick), and he died. And guess what? It was in March. When are we just finding out about this? SEPTEMBER. Do you know how sick that makes me feel? Knowing that people HID THIS VIDEO FROM THE PUBLIC????? He deserves justice. I refuse to let his name become a name that everyone forgets about (*cough cough* arrest Breonna Taylor's murderers bc everyone else seemed to have forgotten about this).

A 13-year-old boy named Linden Cameron was having an episode (he's autistic) in Utah. His mom called the cops to get a team who specializes in calming down autistic people. She told them that he was unarmed and that he's a kid. However, the police showed up and shot him 10 times resulting in him getting a lot of injuries including in his stomach, bladder, and other places. This police brutality issue is getting way out of hand. He's 13. He's a child. You could literally have tackled him, there was no need for a fucking gun. I'm sick of this. Cops need to be trained better and we need to stop letting ignorant people become cops.

The California fires are getting out of hand. I hope if any of my readers are from Cali that you all are safe. You're all in my thoughts and I really hope that these fires get tamed soon.

I heard that the president of the Philippines pardoned a US Marine who killed a transgender woman. This is sick. He killed someone. Just bc someone is different than you are doesn't mean it's okay to murder them. I know my readers are open minded and accepting of the LGBTQ+ community but this still needs to be said: TRANSGENDER LIVES MATTER.

I heard that there's a typhoon that hit Japan and is near South Korea now. Please be safe if any of my readers are located here. My thoughts are with you.

I love all of you and hope you're all doing well. Please take care of yourselves, eat well, drink plenty of water, and try to get in some exercise (I've been working out 5 days a week lately and I've found that it makes me more motivated and I wake up less groggy now bc of it).

I purple you 💜

Kim 💗
