"So will Luke be joining us to celebrate Christmas, Y/N?" Lisa teases from across the dining room table as Seokjin places the plates of food on the table. You merely roll your eyes and reach over, using your fork and spoon to gather some food onto your plate.

"Why are you two so caught up on this stupid Luke thing anyways?" you ask before stuffing your face full of Seokjin's signature beef steak. Seokjin glances between the two of you before sitting down in the middle of the two of you with Jimin sitting across from him.

"Because! My baby sister has never been this serious with a guy before!" she states with a wide smile on her face before she realizes what she said. Her smile slowly drops as she gulps. "Except for... um..."

You interrupt her hesitant speaking by pointing your fork in her direction.

"Say his name and I'll have Seokjin starve you for your entire visit here."

"Y/N," Seokjin scolds. "Don't be rude." You lift your eyebrows.

"I'm joking."

"Not too sure about that..." Jimin mumbles under his breath, causing your eyes to dart in his direction. He holds his hands up in defense before going back to silently eating. "What Lisa is trying to say is... what if this Luke guy is different, you know? What if this is the guy you should settle down with."

"If that's the case, then it'll happen when it happens. I'm focused on the present, not the future. I don't even have time to see my nephew, what makes you two think that I'd have the time to settle down with someone?" You state before huffing and stuffing more food in your mouth.

Seokjin merely stares at you, blinking every few seconds with a neutral look on his face. He swallows his food before looking away from you. Jimin continues staring at you, not believing the words coming out of your mouth. Lisa nods her head in understanding.

"That's true..." Lisa drifts off as she uses her fork to push around the little pieces of beef steak on her plate. "Sorry for pushing it then."

"You always put yourself and your needs aside for the company, Y/N. Can you at least just see where this could go?"

"Where's this coming from, Jimin?" you set both your fork and knife down on the table rather roughly, causing the table to shake a little. "You've always helped me with getting rid of one-night stands and you aren't exactly the most monogamous guy out there, Jimin."

"I never said I wasn't monogamous..." he mumbles before continuing to eat. "And I only helped you with those one-night stands because you're my friend, Y/N. Which is why I think you should at least just try getting to know this Luke guy at a level more intimate than just having sex with him."

You look at Seokjin, who's silently eating. He's never been the confrontational type when it comes to things like this. He's also not the most extraverted person out there, and knowing that Luke is actually him isn't helping with his shyness considering that his ears are now red.

"Hey... um... guys?" he suddenly speaks up. "It's Christmas in three days. Don't you think we should be getting along, you know, for the sake of the holiday?"

Lisa suddenly inhales a deep breath and nods her head eagerly.

"Seokjin is right." She locks eyes with you. "Y/N, seeing as I'm the older sibling, I'm going to set a good example right now." You arch an eyebrow.

"Good... example?"

"Yes," she closes her eyes and takes another deep breath before looking into your eyes again. "It was out of line for me to tell you what to do with your romantic life. Just because we have different outlooks on life doesn't mean I should try telling you what to do. I'm sorry." You nod your head before starting to eat once more, ignoring everyone's stares in your direction.

"Y/N, don't you think you should reply?" Seokjin quietly whispers to you. You roll your eyes and look at your sister, who's giving you a 'please, can we get along?' look.

"I forgive you."

"I'm sorry too." Jimin speaks up. Your head snaps in his direction. "I just miss seeing you happy is all..."

"I forgive you too," you state before sighing. "But don't tell me what to do when you're here keeping secrets from me as well."

Dinner is now finished. Jimin and Lisa have been downstairs playing Just Dance for the past hour. Seokjin just finished cleaning dishes. You're in your room, thinking about your situation.

You like Seokjin. You have a crush on him and you like the kind of person that he is. Being around him makes you feel more relaxed regardless of what the two of you do together.

"Knock knock." You hear from the door. You turn your head and see Seokjin standing at your door. You give him a small smile before gesturing for him to come in. "Dinner was intense, huh?"

"Yeah. Things are always intense with Lisa here." He furrows his eyebrows before plopping onto your bed, staring up at you.

"Why's that?"

"Lisa and I are completely different from each other. I'm a businesswoman. I'm more concerned with my business. She's a family woman, all about family and being around family. She's a stay-at-home mom while I'm always running around town doing different things for my business." You state before shrugging.

"Ah, the different ways of working. Both of those are a type of working in one way or another."

"She doesn't realize the respect I have for her. She thinks that when I talk about my company, I'm bragging about how successful I am. In reality, I know that working on a company is nowhere near as intense as a baby." You state before glancing at the door. "A baby is way worse than a company. I mean, yeah, I have to deal with lawsuits, ingredient lists, paying employees properly, but none of that compares to having another human being depending on you."

"Is she a single mom?"

"No. Hyunjin's her husband." You tilt your head to the side as you speak. "He works full time at a really good paying company. He told her that they could alternate with Christian. He wants Lisa to go back to work but Lisa is a very hands-on person. She used to be an instructor at a dance studio for hip hop dancing but Christian is such an important part of her life that she'd prefer being at home with him until he's old enough for daycare."

"So, she's not doing it alone?" You shake your head. Seokjin nods his head before scratching the back of his neck. "Sounds to me like you two are both hard workers." You nod and grin at him.

"I'm proud of her. I'm terrified at the thought of settling down with someone and having a baby, especially considering what she went through in college." Seokjin's face changes as he turns to face you while you stare straight ahead at your television.

"What happened in college?" you snap out of your mindless speaking and look at Seokjin before shaking your head.

"I'll wait until after the holidays to tell you about that. It'll just ruin the mood." Seokjin nods his head slowly before his eyes lock with yours.

"How come you're scared of settling down and starting a family?"

"There's so many things I want to do before settling down. I'm just getting started with my skincare line and, as I've mentioned, I just don't have the time to give someone the affection and attention they deserve." You bite onto your lower lip. "And I'm still working on trusting others."

"Do you trust me?" he asks.

"If I didn't, you wouldn't be my chef." You state before grinning to yourself as you try to lighten the mood a bit. "Don't take that as an invitation to poison me or anything." You let out a soft laugh. He laughs also before shaking his head quickly.

"If I wanted to poison you, I would've done it already." He laughs before shaking his head. "But that wouldn't really benefit me."

"Oh yeah? Why not?" you tease, gently nudging his leg with yours as you press your knee against the side of his.

"Well if I poison you, I can't have fun with you." You smile softly before looking over at him. You glance at the door to make sure no one's there before pressing your lips onto his for a brief second.

Standing up, you let out a soft sigh and start heading towards the door. You glance behind you and gesture for him to follow. He quickly gets up from your bed and makes his way downstairs with you. The two of you sit on the couch next to each other as you both watch Jimin and Lisa playing Just Dance against each other.

"Do you guys want to play?" Jimin asks while glancing back at you before his eyes go back to the screen as he starts copying the moves on the TV. You shake your head and grin up at the two of them.

"I'll wait until you guys pick an easy song." You state while laughing. Seokjin looks at you, sensing some sort of nervousness or insecurity. It causes him to tilt his head to the side. After a few seconds of staring at you, he blinks and then nods his head.

"I'll dance." He gets up from the couch and makes his way towards Jimin as the three of them pick out another song.

"We'll pick an easy-"

"It's just for fun, right?" Seokjin interrupts. Jimin glances at Lisa before nodding his head slowly. "If it's for fun, don't worry about the difficulty level." Jimin nods before picking a song on the screen.

"It's your embarrassment, Jin-hyung." Jimin teases. Seokjin rolls his eyes before glancing over at you.

"If we put our embarrassment together, it becomes confidence." He states before giving you a small smile. You stare up at him and furrow your eyebrows while smiling, a little confused as you stare up at him.

The song starts and Seokjin takes his attention away from you.

You watch as he purposefully dances badly, making everyone in the room laugh. You can tell he's making himself dance badly on purpose. He starts singing along to the song while dancing and you can't help but notice how beautiful his voice sounds.

You've heard Seokjin singing before but never this loudly. Usually when he sings, he's in the kitchen humming to himself quietly as he cooks. This is one of the few instances where he's singing at his full volume.

"Jin, you're a good singer." You exclaim above the music so he can hear you. He laughs before glancing back at you on the couch while he continues dancing.

"Come dance with us, Y/N! It's an odd number of people dancing and we wanted to do some partner dances so all of us could play." Lisa says while gesturing for you to get off the couch.

"Y/N, you're not a bad dancer." Jimin states while looking back at you as well.

Now, it's Seokjin's turn to look at you. His eyes sparkle as he stares down at you. His plump lips move into a smile as he stares down at you, nodding his head.

"If you're embarrassed, your embarrassment combined with mine will make us confident, c'mon." he states. You grin up at all three of them before getting off of the couch and setting up your phone on the game so you can play as well.

The four of you dance together to the song and are laughing the entire time as you all purposefully dance badly. Even Jimin and Lisa.

After the game, you're all sitting on the couch breathing heavily as you all laugh at the dance moves you did.

"Seokjin, I loved this move that you did." You all look up at Jimin who's imitating one of the steps. Everyone nods their heads and laughs along before you step in.

"It wasn't as good as this one that you did." You state while mimicking one of the steps he did. Everyone bursts into a louder roar of laughter at the sight of you being silly.

When Lisa was about to speak, her phone goes off and she glances down at it before pausing as she looks at the three of you.

"I hate to ruin the moment, but I really have to take this call." You all nod your heads and allow her to excuse herself.

While waiting for her to get back, the remaining three of you continue mocking one another, doing silly dance moves while making noises to match.

"I liked this one." You state while sitting on the couch before lifting your right foot off of the floor. "Hmm..." mimicking the sound Jimin made. Jimin laughs before he lifts his left foot and follows you.

"Wow!" he states while laughing. Seokjin laughs, his signature windshield wiper laugh coming out of his mouth as you and Jimin make him laugh so hard that his face starts to turn red.

Lisa comes back into the room with a smile on her face and you look up at her.

"Everything okay?" You ask. She nods her head before gesturing to the kitchen.

"Yeah... can I speak to you in the kitchen for a sec?" you nod your head and get up from the couch, leaving the two men in the living room lifting their feet in the air as they continue making sound effects. Closing the doors behind you, you look up and see Lisa with a wide smile on her face. "I have a question to ask you."

"And what might that question be, Ms. Sunshine?" you ask while arching an eyebrow. Her smile continues to widen as she smiles back at you.

"Can you think of any names that start with an 'a'?" you furrow your eyebrows before nodding your head slowly.

"Um... Alex?" you watch as she shakes her head immediately. "Okay... Austin?" she shakes her head once more.

"No..." you let out an awkward laugh from the way she's behaving.

"Annie?" she shakes her head. "Um... fine... Aron?" you ask. Her eyes light up and a wide smile forms on her face. "Alright, you're creeping me out. What's going on?"

"I've been wanting to get pregnant again, but Hyunjin has been a little too busy at work to handle it lately." You nod your head, not fully understanding yet. "Well, his schedule cleared up since it's the holidays and I'm considering..."

"Having another child?" you question. She nods her head before biting onto her lower lip. "And you're sure he'll be able to help after the holidays? Babies aren't born in a day." Lisa rolls her eyes before nodding her head.

"Yes, I know and yes, he can." You grin at her.

"If it's a boy, you're letting me name the baby?" she nods her head before biting onto her lower lip.

"If that's alright with you? I like Aron." You smile softly before nodding your head.

"That's fine with me." You walk over to her and give her a hug. "Now, you just have to work on the whole getting pregnant and dealing with swollen feet, weird food cravings, and nine months of pregnancy." She nods her head.

"I've done it once, I can do it again." You grin at her and the two of you take a moment to hug each other.

I haven't had time to read the news lately. This week went by far too quickly so I'll make up for it next week when I update!
