Reason: To get dumped

I was watching her little boy every single day after work. I would come home and she would drop him off. I got off work at 3 and she would drop him off at 4.

She was paying her college debt and saving for his college fund. She was the perfect mom, if only she spent more time with us. Soon she was pulling all nighters and wouldn't come to bed. She would sleep on the couch so she wouldn't wake me. I was basically her babysitter who pays for utilities and rent. Together for 3 years and she never slowed down.

It was a shame really. I've had enough I was lonely. I need a partner who would spend time with me. More than 30 minutes after work and more than an hour before bed. Her little boy would be the only thing I would miss, but it couldn't be helped. I'd stay with her, but I need to look out for my wellbeing as well.

I met and girl named Samantha at the office. Nothing too serious, but I did lie to her. I told her I had a son. I didn't lie when I said I was basically single. She came over from 5-9. Right before Lula got off work she would leave. Coming over 3 times a week. I gave  her the nickname Luna so my "son" wouldn't get confused and say the wrong name. I told her because she was as beautiful as the moon. She said she loved it and agreed.

This went on for 7 months before Lula became suspicious. Good. It's what I wanted. It took her long enough. Not that she deserved any of this. I just knew that if I broke up with her she'd let it eat away at her and soon would blame herself. She needed to be with her son more. This was a wake up call.

I cheated. It made her better. I met her a year later. She had a great guy and got a better paying job with less hours. Even though she hates me, if she knew what I did for her...
would she thank me.
