"Lily, can I just spend the rest of the week here
until the carnival? I don't really feel like staying at home alone." I shyly admitted to her, not wanting to be under constant questioning at home.

"Sure. No problem!"

After a quick phone call to my parents things were all set. I was allowed to stay for the week so we could "work on our huge semester project".

Monday morning

"C'mon Ginger! We're leaving in 10 minutes! Hurry up. Lily is waiting for you downstairs." Jackson said as he knocked on the bathroom door.

"Sorry Im coming." I yelled as I fluffed up my freshly curled hair.

I turned and opened the door to find Jackson standing in the door way with his mouth wide open.

"Wow. Ginger you look-"

"OhmyGod you look Hot!!" Lily said as she walked in behind Jackson, cutting him off.

"Thanks- I'm all finished with everything now so I'm ready to go when you are!"

"Then lets go! Hurry up Jackson! You're driving us!"

Once we got to school, from the second I got out of the car all eyes were on me. People I had never talked to in my life included. I kind of liked the attention, until I started to get self conscience...

I started to notice people whispering to each other and suddenly I felt my face get hot. The next thing I knew I felt someone walk up behind me and throw their arm around my waist.

"Hey sweet pea. How ya doin?"

I'd know that voice anywhere.

"What do you want Jimin?"

I felt his arm tighten around my waist as he led me down an empty hallway.

"I just thought you know... Since Jungkook is gone now...that you and I could get to know each other a little better..."

Then I felt his other hand trying to slide up the back of my shirt.

"Jimin! Leave me alone..."I muttered as I tried to shove him away. But he shoved me against a locker.

"Leave her alone."

"Sorry man, but she's a bit busy with me right now."

"The last time I checked she hates you...so let her go..."

Jimin immediately let me go and started to back down the hallway with his hands in the air.

"Sorry man. I don't want trouble."

"Touch her again and you won't walk away so easily."

"Yes sir!" Jimin yelled as he ran down the hall and around the corner.

I fixed my shirt as the boy walked towards me.

"You okay?"

"Yeah. Thanks Jackson."

"You know now that Jungkook isn't around to protect you guys are going to be jerks like that a lot more. So I was wondering if-"

"Ginger! There you are!" As usual it was Lily interrupting Jackson.

"This is an emergency. We need to have a meeting in the library. now!"

She grabbed my wrist and dragged me behind her as we ran to the library where Jocelyn and Asha were waiting for us.

"What is it?" I asked.

"They're cancelling the Carnival!"
