TAEHYUNG’S POV.

AT HOSPITAL.

“Sorry for keeping you waiting.” I said as soon I entered my office to see a young man with a small cute kid in his hands.

“It’s ok, it’s just been 10 mins since we were waiting. I understood that you were caught up with some work. So, we both were waiting for you patiently.” I saw that young man being so kind and sweet.

“That’s so kind of you. I’m sorry for being late.” I apologized once again and bowed to him.

“It’s really fine. Please relax. And also, this kid his name is ji-hoon, he is suffering from stomach ache and I tried all possible medicines to relieve him from that pain but it is not working on him. And so, I brought him to the hospital.”

He said as he picked him up and handed him to my hands. I grabbed ji-hoon carefully and made him to sit on my lap. Poor boy he is so tired and weak.

“I’m sorry I didn’t ask your name. What is your name?” I asked him politely.

“It’s Jimin. Park Jimin. And what’s yours?”

“I’m Taehyung. Kim Taehyung.”

“It’s nice to meet you Taehyung Ssi. Please check up on him. He’s been suffering for a long time.” I nodded and with that I took ji-hoon to examining bed and laid him down.

“Hiya little guy. How are you doing now? Are you still feeling the pain?”

Ji-hoon nodded his head showing that he is having terrible pain. He is crying not being able to bear the pain. I applied some pressure on his stomach on his lower abdomen, on his sides, till that he didn’t show any pain when I was applying pressure over those areas. But when I applied pressure on his upper abdomen, ji-hoon cried in pain and that’s when I got to know that he is suffering from acidity.

And then I picked up ji-hoon in my hands from the examining bed and walked over to Jimin and handed ji-hoon to him.

“Ji-hoon is having acidity problems. It’s kind of normal for kids. It’ll be fine over sometime. By the end of this day, he will be doing fine and will be doing things actively. There’s nothing to worry about. You can relax. I will prescribe some medicines for him and you can follow that without skipping it ok.” I saw Jimin nod in relaxation and leaned back in chair along with ji-hoon in his hands.

I quickly wrote down the medicines and handed them to Jimin.

“Your son is so cute.” I said making squishy faces to ji-hoon.

“My son? No, he is not. He is my close friend’s son. I have a daughter and she is working as a fashion designer. My friend was busy with some work, and so he asked me whether I could pick up his son for him. I accepted to help him and after picking him up, I saw that ji-hoon was in pain because of stomach ache and I rushed in here and after medications that didn’t work for him.”

“And what do you do Jimin?”

“I’m working as kindergarten teacher. I just love kids and I love to be with them all the time.”

“We both are in the same field. Our love for kids is a never-ending saga, being surrounded by kids and spending some quality time with them will surely take away all our problems and will make us feel better. Kids are love.”

“Indeed, they are Taehyung. I love kids and that’s why I’m in this field.”

“We are blessed to be with kids Jimin.”

“I really don’t know why taehyung, I feel so connected with you. It’s like I’ve known you for years.”

“Even I do feel like that too Jimin. Why don’t we be friends and start a new bond between us? What do you say?”

“I’d love to do that Taehyung. We would be great friends. Here this is my number.” He gave his number and I noted it down and gave him a missed call and asked him to save it.

“Let’s meet on Saturday evening Taehyung, let’s catch up and get to know each other a lot. You are ok with meeting me on Saturday, right? will you be available?”

“I will be available Jimin. I’ll call you when I’m ready.”

“Ok then, I will be leaving now. Have a great day.” He said picking up ji-hoon who is now asleep in Jimin’s arms with pouty lips.

“I will Jimin. Have a great day too.”

He nodded and with that left my office, waving at me before leaving. I waved at him giving sweetest smile sending him off.

I went to my chair and slumped down on my chair staring at the ceiling, thinking about the events that happened today. The best and the good thing that happened today was meeting Jimin. I can’t wait to meet him.
