A week had passed by and I felt better. I spent every minute with Cole and Bethany. Ashton was with me too. Every second. I didn't let him out of my sight.

Cole had told me it was my tiger's instinct to protect him like her own and I didn't mind it. I was being happy.

The brand mark had left my arm. It had disappeared. Today I was going to cover the place it with a tattoo though. Liam said he could do it. He did one for Cole. He said he was okay with making me one too.

I smile as I head downstairs. Cole had taken both of the kids out to the park to play with the others. He said they needed it, especially Ashton. He was getting better at looking in the light now. He didn't start crying.

Come to my office, Cole mindlinks me.

I send an okay back and  turn left instead of heading to the living room. I walk towards the office and smell the scent of others in the room. I enter the room and see Liam, Carter, Mason, Aiden and Jason sat there waiting. They turn to look at me as Cole smiles and tells me to come in.

"Come here," Cole says from his seat. I walk towards him as he stands up and let's me sit down on his chair. Liam grins at me as I look at them.

"What's this about?" I ask as Cole sits on the arm of the chair.

"When you were gone," Mason starts off to say, "we had many leads to find you. They all came to a dead end. It was as if someone was playing with us," Mason says as he looks at them all and they all nod.

"When you told me about Jack and how he knew how to get into this territory, it got me thinking," Cole says sighing, "there's a traitor in this pack and I'm going to kick the fuck out of whoever it is." Cole growls lowly. I place my hand on his leg and he places his hand on top of it.

Where's Ashton and Bethany? I ask him through our mindlink.

They're with Scarlet. He's okay and he's happy. Bethany is going to look after him too. She's happy she's got a brother, he replied back and I nod as I turn back to everyone.

"Any suspects?" I ask them wondering if anyone had done anything suspicious.

Aiden shrugs his shoulders, muttering a no.

I think of all the attacks that have happened. The first time rogues took me, Ashley was there. She could have tied Liam and Cole to the tree too if she is that crazy. She smirked at me when I came back home.

"Ashley," I say quietly.

Liam whips up his head and looks up at me, frowning.

"Why do you think it's her?" He asks confused.

"When I got kidnapped, before I met you," I look at Carter, "she took me to the forest and then left," I explain.

"She came back to tell us," Cole mutters near me.

I sit up straighter.

"It doesn't prove its her," Liam says, "She's been here for a long time. Three years, Cole. She wouldn't do that," Liam says looking at Cole. His eyes pleads with him.

I stare at Liam who ignores us all as he talks to Cole through their mindlink.

"She's your mate," I blurt out blinking as he turns to look at me.

"Was," he mumbles as Jason and everyone whips their heads to look at him frown.

I stand up frowning.

"She broke your heart? It was her? I'm going to kill her," I scoff as I walk around the desk and head towards the wall.

"Skylar!" Cole calls out to me but I ignore him.

She broke Liam's heart. I saw the state he was in. I open the door and head out of the office, everyone else behind me.

"Skylar," Cole grabs my arm gently and stops me from walking away.

Before he can say anything I shake my head at him. He closes his mouth.

I turn to them all behind me. Carter grins at me.

"I promise I'll apologise to her if she's not a traitor," I promise them and Carter nods as he steps closer.

"Scarlet said she's in the park with them. Want me to keep her trapped there? I've been learning some new tricks," he winks at me and I smile but shake my head.

"I only want Liam to go with me," I say as I look at him.

"Yes Luna," he mumbles as he steps closer to me. I wrap my hand around his arm and pull him out of the pack house.

"How come you didn't tell me?" I ask him quietly as we step outside and start walking towards the park a few minutes away.

"I didn't tell anyone other than Cole. She rejected me because she wanted to be with Cole and not me," he shrugs his shoulders.

"And he knows that?" I ask as I look up at him. Liam nods and I frown, "I'm Luna of this pack. I'll get rid of her for you," I say and he chuckles lowly.

"I accepted her rejection so it doesn't hurt as much. I met another girl but don't tell anyone," He grins at me and I grin back.

"Do I know her?" I ask and he shrugs.

"Nataline. She's usually on border patrol. I met her once there," He says and I grin brightly.

"I guess I'm taking a walk around the edge of…"

"On the east side. I met her when we were trying to look for you," He explains and I nod.

"One good thing came out of it, right? I'll suddenly get lost on the east side of our territory. No! Maybe I can scare her and open a mindlink with her!" I laugh at his shocked face and he shakes his head.

"No! I haven't even talked to her yet," he groans but falls silent as we get closer to the park.

"Mummy!" Bethany shouts from the slide. She slides down it and runs towards the gate. She waves at me and I smile.

Bethany didn't call me her mom until yesterday. It was weird and different but felt good because she called me it.

I was sat on the bed last night talking to Cole about how we were going to attack Alpha Jack's rogue pack and where to attack from when she had woke up and sat next to me. She said she loved me. I love you mummy.

Cole had frowned and complained that he wasn't going to get the special attention from her anymore. I had smiled and felt happy in that moment. She was warming up to us.

I let go of Liam's arm and walk over to the gate. I push it open as she moves away from it.

She wraps her arms around my legs and grins up at me.

"Hey baby," I smile at her and she grins brightly again.

"Is daddy here?" She asks and I shake my head and she nods running back to the boys playing on the slide.

"Hey," Scarlet walks up to me with Ashton in her arms. He claps his hands at me happily and I grin as I pick him up from her. "She's over there with a few guys," Scarlet whispers to me quietly and I nod.

"Could you take everyone out? I don't want the kids to see this," I ask her and she nods.

She turns around to all the kids, "Who wants ice cream?" She calls loudly and the little kids run towards her along with Bethany.  

I look up and glance at Ashley. She's frowning at me. I smile at her sweetly before I hand Ashton to Scarlet and watch her leave with all the kids.

I walk up to Ashley and she turns to look at me and Liam.  Her friends frown and lower their heads, showing respect to their Luna. I smile.

"Could you give me a few minutes with Ashley?" I say to them and they nod and walk away quickly.

"Hi Liam," Ashley smiles at him sweetly. He looks away from her as he stops next to me.

"I can easily burn you slowly and make it painful if you don't answer my question truthfully," I say to her and she turns to look at me, "I'm not going to beat around the bush. Are you spying on us for Jack?" I ask her.

I concentrate on her breathing and hear her heart skip a beat when I mention Jack.

"Who's Jack?" She asks me, as she lifts her hand up and stares at her nails.

"Ashley, just tell her the truth. You've been asking me about Skylar a lot," Liam mumbles to her.

I frown as I look up at him and he shrugs.

I didn't think anything of it, he says into my mind as I turn back to look at Ashley.

"Can't I be worried about my Luna?" She smiles at me sweetly.

I take a step closer to her as I think about her heels burning slowly.

She looks down and starts to scream as she takes them off. The flame dances around her feet as she whips her head up to look at me and Liam.

"Liam! Tell her to stop!" Ashley screeches as the flames edge closer to her legs.

"Don't hurt her," Liam says to me quietly and Ashley grins at me.

"I won't hurt her," I smile at him as I let the flames crawl closer to her and higher. It starts to surround her slowly.

"Tell me the truth and I'll let you go," I say to Ashley as she glares at me through the fire bubble building around her.

You're going to burn me! ALPHA!" Ashley screams as loud as she can knowing Cole can hear her. An Alpha's instinct to protect his pack.

"Tell me the truth," I say mimicking her bored look. I stare at my nails. Need to paint them.

"I don't know what you're talking about!" She screams as the fire rises higher a little. It reaches her hips and she screams.

"Skylar," Cole says behind me and I shake my as I turn to look at him.

"Stop it Skylar. We can do this the proper way," he says to me as he steps closer.

"I'm doing this my way. The fastest way I know," I say to him and turn back to look at Ashley who's screaming in the fire bubble.  

"I will kill you!" She screams at me and I pout.

"Threatening your Luna?" I say as I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist. I sigh as Cole places a soft kiss on my mark.

"You're going to hurt her. I know you're angry but you're going to hurt her and she's not going to talk," he whispers into my ear.

We look like a couple who's loving PDA. Not him trying to calm me down as his hands draw random patterns on my stomach.

"You're supposed to be mine!" Ashley shrieks as she stares at us.

Liam walks away scoffing.

I stare at Ashley. I smile as I turn around in Cole's arms and stand on my tiptoes.

"I love you," I say to him and he grins at me as I place my lips on him and kiss him as hard and passionately as I can.

"Stop! Stop! He's mine! Jack is going to kill you!" Ashley screeches behind us and I grin against his lips.

"I love you too," Cole mumbles against my lips as he pulls away from me.

I peck his lips with a smile and turn back to look at Ashley. The fire disappears from her legs and she runs.

"Maybe you can use your magic to stop her?" Cole says to me and I laugh.

"Now my way is a good way?" I say and he chuckles nodding as I fist my hands near me and watch as a huge fire wall surrounds Ashley making her freeze inside of it. It won't burn her.

"That's my girl," Cole grins on my neck.

I feel Cole freeze behind me just as I get the warning in my mind.

Rogues! Jason shouts into the minds of every pack member.
