I sashayed to the executive office of Ferron Enterprises. There's a woman in a cubicle near Creed's office. It must be his secretary.

"Is Creed-" I stopped when I realized something. Siya yung kasama ni Creed bago ito mawala at mapunta sa mga Amherst. Then I remember, unti unting bumilog ang aking mga mata. Its been what? Six years? Oh my God!

"Cerys, you're alive?" Nagtatakang tumingin siya sa akin. She changed a lot.

She smiled. "Pangalawang beses ko na po sasabihin 'to simula ng magtrabaho ako dito. Sorry ma'am but I'm Sela Gomez, Sir Creed's secretary at buhay na buhay po. How can I help you ma'am?" Hindi ako pwedeng magkamali.

I gave her a smile and rolled my eyes on her. "Gosh! Hanggang ngayon stupid ka pa rin. Where's Creed?"

"Do you have an appointment ma'am?"

"Wala, just tell him his wife is here." Her smile fades on what I have said but she still spoke in the intercom.

"Ma'am, wala raw pong asawa si Sir." I shot my brow up on her.

"Oh? Tell him its Mirae Lozano." Agad naman siyang tumalima.

She spoke on the intercom and nodded her head. "Pasok po, ma'am."

"Thanks, Cerys."

"I'm not-"

"Whatever." I gave her a dismissive wave as I entered Creed's office.

Creed's reading some paperworks and he shifted his head on me when I entered.

"What?" I asked when I saw a questioning look on his eyes.

"My wife, huh? Bakit ka nagpakilala na ganoon?" Tanong nito ngunit may ngisi sa kanyang mga labi.

I laughed but I make sure that I still look elegant. "I just want to annoy someone."

Nagtataka siyang tumingin sa akin at nagkibit balikat lang ako. Dumiretso ako sa chair na nasa harap ng table niya at doon umupo. "So what's the name of your secretary?"

"Sela. Sela Gomez. Why?" I don't know but I think I saw something in his eyes when he say his secretary's name. I smirked.

"Hmm, you know her?"

"What do you mean by that?" He frowned and a deep furrow formed in his brow.

"I'm asking if you know her."

"You knew something. From my past, she's part of it." Well it is not a question but a statement.

I raised a brow and smirked.

"Of course, I don't have an amnesia."

"Tell me who is she?" The last time I checked ay ayaw niyang sabihin ko sa kanya ang kahit anong nangyari sa nakaraan niya. But now he's asking me this.

"You said unti-unti ng bumabalik ang ala-ala mo. So tell me, sino ang madalas mong nakikita? Ang sekretarya mo? Nakikita mo ba?" Lalong kumunot ang noo niya dahil sa tanong ko.

"I saw Sela once. Tell me who's Sela?" I smirked.

"Even though I don't like that girl, I don't want her to vanished in your memory kapag may na triggered na something diyan sa brain mo so, no I won't tell you." Creed's amnesia is somehow a blessing in disguise. I just hope na galingan ni Cerys or Sela or whatever her name is ang pangaakit kay Creed bago pa bumalik ang ala-ala niya.

"She's important to me?" He asked, looks like he is not satisfied on my answer.

"The past doesn't matter. Kung ngayon, she's important to you, then she is. I'll give you a clue na lang, her name is not Sela but hey! don't be mad at her for lying 'cause I don't know what happened to her and its not my story to tell....and I like her than Lavinia, thats all I can say."

"Naguguhulan ako, Mirae. There's something I can't explain, I'm thinking if I can feel something on Sela or whatever you call her, because I remember she's pregnant when we got ambushed and maybe I am the father, but I can't feel anything."

I slowly nodded.

"How about Lavinia? What's with her?" Tanong niya na hindi ko alam kung sasagutin ko.

I smiled as I shrugged my shoulders as a response.

Pinagtagpi tagpi ko ang mga pangyayari at maaaring tama ang hinuha ko. For now, I'll just have to wait and see kung ano ang mangyayari. This time, I'll be happy sa kung ano man ang magiging desisyon niya sa huli ngunit nasisiguro ko na may isang masasaktan. Its either Lavinia or Cerys or silang dalawa. That Lavinia, hindi ko alam kung bakit hinahabol pa niya si Creed matapos niyang pagtaksilan ito.

"Bakit ka nga pala napadaan dito?" He asked after a minute of silence between the two of us.

"I'll visit the site in bulacan, you wanna come?" He's my business partner on that project with Vynz as an Engineer. Hindi nagattend ng meeting si Creed last time noong nagbotohan ng company na maghahandle sa project because he's busy. Sabi niya nandon naman ako at kaya ko na 'yon.

"Okay, let's go." Inayos niya ang kanyang table at iginiya ako palabas.

Paglabas namin ay nakita ko si Cerys na nagmamadaling bumalik sa cubicle niya at nagkunwaring nagaayos ng gamit doon. Hindi nakita ni Creed iyon dahil nahuli siyang lumabas.

Creed walked towards his secretary's table at sumunod ako sa likod niya.

I pretend that I'm checking my phone. "Cancel all my appointments for today and come with me." Pinigilan ko ang sarili na mapataas ang kilay dahil sa sinabi ni Creed sa sekretarya.

"Uhmm." I saw from the side of my eye that she glanced on me.

"Mirae, come here."

I walked near them dahil sa sinabi ni Creed. His arms were encircled on his secretary's waist.

"Sela, this is Mirae, she's a friend." Pormal na pakilala nito.

"Mirae, this is Sela, my girlfriend." Girlfriend. I just hope na hindi pagsisihan ni Creed ang mga desisyon niya ngayong wala siyang maalala.

Inilahad ko ang kamay ko kay Cerys at tinanggap naman niya iyon.

"Nice meeting you again, Cerys."

"Uhmm, ma'am my name is Sela." Itinama niya ang sinabi ko but I just shrugged at tinaasan siya ng kilay.

"Mirae." It was a warning from Creed. Inilipat ko ang tingin sa kanya habang nakataas pa rin ang kilay. I rolled my eyes on him at napailing na lang ito.

"Let's go." I said ng maalala ko na marami pa pala akong schedule ngayong araw.

"Gusto mo sumabay sa amin?" Creed asked.

"No thanks, I have my car with me." I don't have a plan to be in one car with them. Ayokong makita ang kalandian ni Creed. Nilagpasan ko sila para dumiretso sa elevator at sumunod  naman sila.

We drove for almost an hour or two before we reached the site. I checked the time on my phone and its already one in the afternoon. I wore my sunglasses bago lumabas ng sasakyan. I saw Creed opening the passenger's door for Cerys.

We entered the site and I saw Vynz wearing a hard hat. He walked towards our direction nang makita niya kami. Hinawakan niya ang aking baywang ng makalapit siya akin at humarap kila Creed na nasa likod ko kanina. Creed glanced on Devaughne's hand on my waist.

"Creed, Cerys, this is Vynz the head engineer for the project. Vynz, this is Creed my partner for this project, and Cerys, his sect- girlfriend."

I saw Vynz giving Creed a cold stare. Walang naglahad ng kamay sa kanila para makipagkamay. I saw Cerys hesitating if she'll offer her hand pero ibinaba iyon ni Creed at siya na ang naglahad para makipagkamay kay Vynz. Sa una ay tinitigan lang iyon ni Vynz ngunit sa huli nakipagkamay pa rin.

Then I remember, Vynz knew that Creed is from Cosmos.

"Sorry, I forgot to tell you that I have a partner on this project." I apologized to Vynz. Nakalimutan ko din kasing sabihin.

"Its okay. I'll tour you around." Iginiya niya kami sa site at binigyan ng hard hat. Siya ang nagsuot noon sa akin. Matapos ay nanatili sa likod ko ang kamay niya na tila nakaalalay habang naglalakad kami.

"Is there something needed for the operation?" Creed asked in a firm voice habang umiikot kami sa site.

"Nothing. I'll tell Mirae if we need something." That was the last conversation of the two. Bakas ang tensyon sa kanilang dalawa kaya pati ako ay tahimik lang.

Vynz leaned on my ear at nakita ko ang pagbaling ng dalawa dahil sa ginawa niya. "Kumain ka na?" He whispered.

"Hindi pa."

"Damn! Mirae, anong oras na! 'Yong dalawa?" Still whispering, referring to Creed and Cerys.

"Nagdrive thru sila kanina." Pinipilit ako kanina nila Creed na magdrive thru rin pero tinangihan ko.

"Bakit ikaw hindi?"

"I don't want to eat while driving."

"Fuck!" He cursed. Tinawagan niya si Engineer Santos at Architect Fernandez para sila ang magtour sa dalawa.

"Where are you going, Mirae?" Creed asked bago pa kami makalayo ni Vynz.

I turned to Vynz dahil wala din akong alam kung saan kami pupunta. "She'll eat." Vynz answered at umalis na kasama ako patungo sa office nila.

When we entered their office ay iginiya niya ako sa isang table na naroon. It must be his table.

"Eat this." I don't know where he got that food. Inabot niya sa akin ang pagkain then his phone suddenly started ringing.

"I'll just answer this." I nodded as I started eating the food he gave me. Lumayo lang siya sa akin at hindi na nagabalang lumabas.

"Yeah, how about the Universe?" He asked over the phone kaya napatigil ako sa pagkain at hindi inalis ang tingin doon. They're still after the Universe. Ano ba ang makukuha nila kung malalaman nila kung sino ang Universe? Oh right! Papatayin nila, I'm sure of that.

"I don't care about them, what I need is their Universe." He frowned.

"Good, I need it tomorrow." He said after a long silence, doon na natapos ang tawag at binalingan niya ako.

"Be careful of that Creed Ferron, he's dangerous." He seated on the chair in my front.

"Why? He's a business partner and a friend."

"You don't know him, Mirae." He's warning me because he knew that Creed's one of the underbosses of Cosmos.

"He's a friend so no worries."

Mariin siyang pumikit dahil sa pagpupumilit ko.

"Fuck it, Mirae." His jaw clenched. "Hindi ko alam ang gagawin kung may mangyaring masama sayo dahil sa lalaking 'yon." He whispered pero sapat lang ang lakas para marinig ko ang sinabi niya. Hindi ko na siya pinansin at nagpatuloy sa pagkain.

"Kailan mo gusto na ipagluto kita?"I asked after finishing my food habang  marahang pinunasan ang labi gamit ang tissue. Nawala ang kunot ng noo niya dahil sa tanong ko.

"This sunday?" May mapaglarong ngiti sa mga labi niya.

I nodded. "Okay."

"Labas na tayo? Baka tapos na sila."

"Sabay ka sakin umuwi? I'll just fix something maybe for an hour or half?" He asked but I shook my head and immediately declined.

"I have something to do pa. I have a meeting with a client."

"Alright. Labas na tayo." Iginiya niya ako palabas at naroon na sila Creed sa tapat ng office ng makalabas kami. Creed's talking to Engineer Santos while Cerys was standing beside him.

Creed saw me at nagpaalam na sa Engineer. They walked towards our direction. "Let's go Mirae." Creed said ng makalapit sila sa amin. I nodded at nagsimula ng maglakad palapit sa kotse ko.

Pinatunog ko ang kotse at akmang bubuksan ang pinto ng driver seat ng may maunang magbukas noon para sakin. I saw Vynz smiling as he gestured me to enter the car. I didn't know that he followed us. When I entered, he leaned on me and give me a peck.

"See you soon, Mirae. Take care." Aniya bago isarado ang pinto ng sasakyan. I started the engine and maneuvered the car. Vynz stayed on his place hanggang sa makalayo ako sa site.

Dumiretso ako sa Miche Enterprises. I sashayed to the executive office even though I don't have an appointment with the CEO. I just need to tell my name, I hope that's enough.

I saw his secretary and smiled. "Is Axel Miche inside?"

"Do you have an appointment, Ma'am? "

"Nothing. But can you tell Axel that it's Mirae Lozano?"

Namilog ang kanyang mga mata. "Lozano Empire po?" I nodded. "Right away, ma'am." I smiled and she immediately spoke on the intercom.

"This way, Ma'am." She opened the door at iginiya ako roon.

I entered and saw Axel in his stoic face at may pasa sa kanyang pisngi. He looked like a mess. I sat comfortably in front of his table and crossed my legs.

"What do you want?" He coldly said, different from what I've met last time.

"I have a proposal."

"I don't want any business with you." I raised my brow. Sudden changed of mind, huh?

"I have a proposal and you have no choice but to listen."

"No-" I immediately shut him up.

"Stonesteel Mafia."

His brow rose up and he stilled as I continued. "Ring a bell?" He shifted on his seat.

"How did you know that?"

"Sorry to disappoint you but I won't entertain any questions. Let me speak first."

"Then start."

"I heard that you're a client of Stonesteel. Am I right?"

He nodded.

"I want you to stop being their client." I said and he frowned tila hindi naintindihan ang sinabi ko.

"Cosmos Mafia wants you to be their client." Nakita ko ang gulat sa mga mata niya ng banggitin ko ang Cosmos.

"How did you know that?" I gave him a smirk and ignored his question.

"I told you I won't entertain any questions from you. You better shut up, don't ask questions and just agree." I smirked as I playfully tap on his table.

"Fine. But I need something as a compensation." I raised my brow.

"Alright. Tomorrow, a member of Cosmos would come in here for signing of contract. Tell him your compensation and we'll see if Cosmos will approve."

Axel laughed and it echoed around the room. "There's a contract? Fuck that Cosmos!" I smiled.

Even if I want to wring his neck dahil sa sinabi niya sa Cosmos ay hindi ko ginawa. I won't let my emotions ruin my plan.
