"Stop that. I said I'm okay, Dash," I uttered as I bit my apple.

"I'm just checking your wound, Milady." Aniya at ipinagpatuloy lang ang ginagawa.

"Si Arch kaya icheck mo, hindi pa siya nagigising. Is he going to be okay? Buti at hindi mismo sa dibdib ang tama niya." Bumaling ako kay Archer na hanggang ngayon ay wala pa ring malay.

Everyone's minding their own business. Astrid's sleeping peacefully on the sofa beside my bed while Dame's busy with his phone. Si Creed naman ay nakatitig sa kawalan at tila malalim ang iniisip. May benda ang kanyang braso dahil sa tama ng baril. Kami lang ni Dash ang maingay.

"I'm the doctor, what do you expect?" He said in a proud way.

"Kung ganon hindi na ako magtataka kung hindi na siya gigising." Biro ko sa kanya ay binigyan siya ng isang mapaglarong ngiti. Dash is a good doctor and a good friend.

He gave me an annoyed gaze. "Damn you, Mirae." I chuckled.

"Its now Mirae? Not Milady? And you cursed me, huh?" I asked to annoy him more.

"I hate you." He said after checking my wound then he turned to his medical tools and started arranging it.

"Ate," Dame called me at alam ko na kung ano ang sunod na sasabihin niya.

"No." I gave him a cold stare.

"Wala pa akong sinasabi." Aniya.

"You'll ask me if you can join Cosmos and it's still a no for me." I don't want him to join Cosmos, it's too dangerous for him.

"But I want to be a part of Cosmos." He looks desperate.

"Why don't you let him? Matanda na 'yan, He can handle," Dasher muttered as he turned to Creed. "What do you think?" Mukhang kanina pa siya nakikinig sa usapan namin dahil agad itong napatango.

"Its fine with me as long as he'll not die." Creed shrugged. Nahihiwagaan akong napatingin sa kanila. I can't believe them.

"He's still a kid, he's just seventeen.
He can't even follow a single rule. Ang sabi ko si Vynz ang barilin mo pero hindi mo yon ginawa." Katwiran ko at may biglang naalala kaya naman nanliit ang aking mga mata.

"Paano ka nga pala napunta roon?May dala ka pang baril wala namang bala at ipinagamit mo sa'kin?"

Paano nalang kung may nakalaban siya at walang bala ang baril niya. I can't risk you, Dame. Creed looked at me like he can read my thoughts.

"You're just five years older than me, Ate. Vynz's wearing a bulletproof vest kaya hindi ko siya binaril. Pinilit ko si Kuya Dasher at Kuya Archer kung pwede akong sumama at pumayag din sila. Yung baril naman, hindi ko alam na walang bala yung binigay ko sayo, sorry." Dame explained. Nakita kong patay malisya at dahan-dahang naglakad si Dasher palapit sa pinto.

"Where are you going, Dash." This guy is fucking guilty dahil silang dalawa ni Archer ang nagkunsinti kay Damien.

He smiled but it fades away at nauwi iyon sa pagngiwi. Hindi ito tumuloy na lumabas at bumalik na lang sa ginagawa.

"You should shot Vynz on his head instead of shooting someone on his heart, daplis pa! And you Dash, stop tolerating Damien." Ipapahamak lang ni Dame ang sarili sa ginagawa.

"If I shot Vynz's head then he'll surely die, paano ka na?" I frowned on his answer. "I mean wala ng kalaban ang Cosmos. It will be boring kung wala na ang Devaughne at hindi 'yon daplis! Sinadya ko' yon dahil doon din nila binaril si Kuya Arch." He talked like he's convincing someone. I looked at him sharply. What he said was the most ridiculous thing I ever heard.

I can't believe na iyon ang rason niya, na dahil doon binaril si Archer? I won't even think twice when I'll have a chance to shoot Vynz on his head.

"What's your plan?" Creed asked. The mafia chart for this month says that Devaughne is still the most powerful mafia and Cosmos is still on the second. It fucking frustrates me na kahit anong gawin ko Devaughne pa rin ang nangunguna.

"Dash, can you ask someone to get Devaughne's schedule?" I said while chewing my apple.

"I heard.... Astrid has Devaughne's schedule." His voice was full of hesitation to continue and he seemed uncomfortable, he can't even look directly into my eyes. Tumaas nagkilay ko dahil sa sinabi niya.

I turned to Astrid and her eyes are now half-open. "You have?" I asked her in a cold way.

"What?" Agad siyang napaayos ng upo.

"You have Devaughne's schedule?" I smirked to suppressed a smile because of her reaction.

"Y-yes but it's becau-" She seemed nervous.

"I don't need your explanation," I said to shut her up.

"Mirae let her explain," Creed said. His voice was firm but I ignored it.

"She surely has a valid reason, Milady." Dash was trying to defend Astrid.

"M-Mirae, it's not what you think." She's now teary-eyed. I bit my lower lip to suppress a smile coming out of my mouth.

"Come here." This is so hard, can't I maintain a blank reaction.

She slowly walked towards my bed. I saw Creed shifted from his seat while Dasher's eyeing me.

"Ate!" Damien's warned me but I didn't even gave him a single glance.

I shifted from my seat. Nakita ko si Dash na papalapit para tulungan ako but I signalled him that I can manage.

She seated on the right side of my bed. "Mirae." I bit my lower lip to stop the smile slowly forming in my lips.

"Can I have his schedule?" I chuckled. Bakas ang pagtataka sa mga mata ni Astrid.

"The fuck! Milady!" Dash said like he can't believe me. I was just kidding. Bakit ba parang kinakabahan sila? They wouldn't betray me. I'm sure of that.

"What?" I asked at hindi ko na napigilan ang pagtawa.

I felt Astrid lightly punched my arm. "I hate you!" She made a grim on her face.

I rolled my eyes. "Hate me all you want." Biro ko sa kanya.

I saw Creed walking towards my bed. Nang makalapit siya at marahan niyang pinitik ang aking noo.

"You little witch." He smirked and walks out of the room.

"I won't give you Devaughne's schedule." sabi ni Astrid.

"Come on Astrid makukuha ko 'yan kahit hindi mo ibigay." I rolled my eyes.

"Fine! I'll send you a copy through your email." She started walking towards her phone while stomping her feet like a kid.

"I'll go to my room." Hindi na nila ako pinigilan. Nagbilin lang si Dash na huwag ako masyado gumalaw dahil sariwa pa ang sugat ko.

As soon as I reached my room I opened my laptop to check if Astrid already sent me Devaughne's schedule.

There, she already did. I opened it and then there's his schedule for a week. There's a note on its last part saying she'll get his upcoming schedule if I still need it.

I scanned Vynz's schedule. Karamihan doon ay meeting sa kanyang kompanya. Napataas ang kilay ko roon. There's also a charity auction on Saturday eight in the afternoon.

I dialled my secretary's number twice pero walang sumasagot. Nang nakita ko ang orasan ay alam ko na ang dahilan ng hindi niya pagsagot. It's already past midnight.

Nilibot ko ang aking paningin. On the right side, I saw the city lights. My room is in a neutral shade of beige and cream, ganoon din ang buong penthouse.

This penthouse is actually a headquarters for the Universe and the underbosses of the Cosmos. There's a headquarter too for the other members of the Cosmos pero medyo malayo iyon dito.

The second floor consists of five rooms. One for the Universe, which is me and the other four is for my underbosses. There's also a secret room on the first floor inside the library.

Inside the secret room, doon namin ginagawa ang mga bagay na may kinalaman sa Cosmos. Katulad nalang ng nangyari kanina. Doon kami ginagamot ni Dash kung may nasugatan sa amin. Doon din kami ni Archer kung may kaylangan na i-hack, trace or something.

Sa baba ng gusaling ito ay naroon ang condo ko. Ganoon din ang kila Astrid. Sa iba't ibang palapag nga lang. We decided to live with the same building for easier communication.

I woke up hearing a loud sound coming from my phone. I answered it immediately without knowing who's the caller.

"Mirae Lozano, speaking." I saw sun rays igniting the colours of my room.

"Good morning Ma'am, you have a meeting with the board members, thirty minutes from now.....or do you want me to move it after lunch? You also have an appointment with Mr. Creed Ferron of Ferron enterprises at eleven o'clock, do I have to move that too ma'am?" I heard the soft voice of my secretary over the phone.

"Yes please move my meeting with the board members. As for my appointment with Creed Ferron, no need to move that, I'm coming and can you get me an invitation of this certain charity auction on Saturday at the Diamond Hotel?" I asked.

Ilang sandali pa bago ito nakasagot. "Actually, Ma'am you received an invitation from that auction you were saying, last week pa pero sabi mo you're busy so you can't attend." I received an invitation? I blinked for a couple of times before I smirked.

"I will attend that charity auction, clear my schedule for that," I said with finality.

"Alright, ma'am." She obliged.

I finished my morning routine and I found my self walking down towards the dining room of the penthouse. There was a divider that separates the sala and the dining room, it also functions as a display but still maintaining an open space concept.

I saw Astrid in front of the countertop, preparing something.

"What's that?" I asked, pertaining to the food she's preparing.

"I'm making a bowl of soup for Archer, you want?" She looked at me. Marahan akong umiling.

"Hindi ka papasok?" I asked. I search for the apples and slice it into bite-size. I also got myself a bread for breakfast or brunch, perhaps.

"No, Babantayan ko si Archer. Ikaw? Late ka na. Si Creed maaga umalis at nabanggit din niya na may meeting kayo mamaya?"

"Yeah, Where is Dash? Si Damien, umuwi na ba?"

"May emergency daw sa pasyente niya kaya napilitan pumasok. Si Dame naman, umuwi na at nasabi niya na ayaw mo pa rin siya payagan sumali sa Cosmos? Why don't you give him a chance?" Pati ba naman siya pumapayag na maging parte ng Cosmos si Dame?

"Delikado para sa kanya." I don't want to worry every time na malalaman ko na nasa field si Dame.

"We all know that pero nandito naman tayo para bantayan siya at alam naman nating lahat na kaya na niyang protektahan ang sarili niya." Aniya.

"I'll think about that." Sagot ko para lang matapos ang usapan. But I'll really think about it.

I visited Archer for a while. Pagkatapos ay nagpaalam na ako sa kanila. Dumaan muna ako sa condo ko at doon na nagbihis.

I checked my phone to see kung aabot ba ako sa meeting ko with Creed. I still have thirty minutes, at doon lang naman kami magkikita sa office ko.

I arrived on Lozano Empire at exactly eleven. I entered my building wearing a beige halter jumpsuit paired with a black Chanel purse and Swarovski sunglasses. Binigyan ko ng tipid na ngiti ang mga empleyadong bumati sa akin.

Pagkalabas ng elevator ay sinalubong ako ni Ayesha, my secretary. I took my shades off when I saw her approaching. "Good morning ma'am. Mr. Creed Ferron's already here." She informed.

"Good morning, Let him in."

After five minutes, Creed entered my office. We talked about the partnership of our company. Pwede naman naming pagusapan yon sa penthouse na lang or sa condo but for the sake of formality kaya namin to ginagawa and for a show.

Dahil marami ng nakakaalam na si Creed ay parte ng Cosmos, sigurado ako na maraming sumusunod sa kanya at nasisiguro ko na isa ang Devaughne roon. Lahat ng nakakasalamuha ni Creed ay iimbestigahan nila para malaman kung sino ang iba pang underboss ng Cosmos. We need to put up a show that we're business partners para hindi sila masyadong maghinala na parte ako ng Cosmos kung makikita man nila na magkasama kami. Though we're really a business partner.

"You know what? I don't trust your doctor." I said when we finished talking about business.

"He's our family doctor." He shrugged.

"Come on, Creed! Don't be so stupid. We all know something's wrong. Its been what? Six years? And you still can't remember anything but your family and Cosmos? Kung hindi mo pa kami kababata at parte ng Cosmos ay baka hindi mo rin kami maalala." I gently massaged my temples out of frustration.

"I stopped taking his prescribed medicines weeks ago and I can remember a few things so don't worry. I will also sue that doctor or I'll bring him to the headquarters for questions." He explained. Buti naman at na tauhan na siya.

"How's Crizzy?" Last month ko pa siya huling nakita.

"She's looking for you. She misses you already." That little girl.

"I'll visit her some other time." He nodded.

I saw something on my peripheral vision, parang may tumama na kung ano sa glass walls. I know Creed noticed it too. I looked at my side to see what is happening. Ganoon din ang ginawa ni Creed.

I saw a sniper trying to shoot us or Creed? Bala ng baril ang tumama sa glass kanina but he was unsuccessful because the glass walls were bulletproof. Bumaril ulit siya at ng nakita na hindi pa rin tumagos iyon ay nagmamadali na inayos ang rifle at upang agad na makaalis.

Creed's now on his phone. "Sniper, right building parallel to Lozano Empire. Get him." Creed ordered.

"You're now in danger dahil alam na nilang isa ka sa Cosmos," I said when he put his phone down.

"Just let them." He casually muttered like he's not bothered at all.
