Gabriella
I followed Annabelle down the hallway of Quincella's, pestering her with questions. She was pretending to be annoyed, but I could tell that she secretly liked all the attention.
"What were you doing? Who even was that? What were you laughing about?" I questioned her. Annabelle just laughed, pulled her hair out from behind her ears and continued walking towards our table.
Almost immediately after we sat down, the food came. It enveloped our whole entire table in the aroma of Italian cooking. "This is why Quincella's was made." Annabelle remarked, pointing her fork in the air as if it signified her point.
"Amen!" I replied, digging into my pasta. Mack's plate sat untouched, but not for very long. She saw us eating halfway across the room and made a mad dash for her plate.
"So what's up?" Mack said, grabbing her pizza and putting it in her mouth before she even sat down. "I'm starving." She tried to say through a mouthful of food. I could tell she was hiding something.
"What am I missing?" I asked.
"Nuthin." Mack replied, trying to hide her smile that was pasted on her face with a mouthful of pizza.
"Did you?" Annabelle smirked.
"Yup," Mack said, her everlasting smile returning to her face.
"Are you guys telepathic or something?" I explained, exasperated with being left out.
"Don't worry about it," Annabelle told me, returning to her chicken.
"So what's next?" I asked them.
"I wanted to go to Mogermentry!" Annabelle tried to say through a mouthful of chicken and pasta.
"You just want to see Cam," I teased. Annabelle got really red, and put her head down to look at her chicken.
"No, I said I wanted to go before that, remember?" Annabelle replied, picking at her food.
Then Mack spoke up. "Before Mogermentry Park, can we stop and like get sweatshirts or something? I had no idea it was going to be this cold." Annabelle smiled again, probably remembering Cam's sweatshirt. I looked at her, and she started stuffing her face again.
"Yeah, but we're not going to like Hollister or anything. How 'bout Kroger?" I asked Mack.
"Fine." She said sullenly. I could tell she was hoping for something really nice, but we didn't have the time to go through a really nice store, where she was sure to get enveloped in and want to leave. Buying clothes at Kroger? Please, she'd be in and out before you could even say 'cheap'.
