"Ano 'yan? Dinner mo na 'yan?" 

I glanced at the glass of milk in front of me. Tinignan 'yon ni Sevi na parang galit siya roon. What did the milk do to him?! Pati ba naman gatas, pag-iinitan niya ng ulo? 

"I usually don't eat dinner na. It's part of my diet," I defended myself. "I just couldn't sleep so kumuha ako ng milk, hoping it would help me a little." 

"Healthy pa ba 'yang diet na 'yan?" He sounded mad. 

"For me," I answered proudly. 

He opened the refrigerator to look for food. I pouted as I watched him take out some leftover food out. Hindi pa yata siya kumakain ah? Gutom ba siya at naglalabas siya ng food? 

"I'll just finish this, and I'll sleep na inside the study room. You can take the bed. It's your turn now." I sipped on my glass of milk. 

"Hindi," he said while putting the food in the bowl. 

"Anong hindi? It's your turn now." I placed the glass back on the table, confused. 

"Hindi ka pa matutulog. Sasabayan mo 'ko kumain," utos niya.

"E-excuse me?!" I scoffed. "Are you giving me commands? Are you my damn boss?" 

He didn't answer. He just turned the microwave on to heat the food. My brows furrowed as I tried to finish my milk, still watching him. He leaned against the countertop and crossed his arms over his chest while waiting for the food. 

"Wala na, nainit ko na. Kung hindi mo kakainin, sayang naman..." He shrugged, making me guilty!

"Who told you to do that?!" reklamo ko. "It's almost three! Let's just sleep! I have work tomorrow!" 

"Ako rin naman," he said, shaking his head a little. 

He placed the food on the table and got us some utensils so we could eat. It was just chicken. Walang rice or anything. Gusto niya lang atang papakin namin. I rolled my eyes and started to eat one piece. Sevi sat in front of me, texting while eating. 

"Ayoko na, I'm full na," I said after eating one piece. "You finish that. I'm already sleepy." 

"Sa kwarto ka na matulog," he said, still busy texting. "Sa study room na 'ko. May gagawin pa 'kong trabaho," he said in a monotone. 

I just rolled my eyes and finished my milk before going inside the bathroom to brush my teeth again. After that, I went to bed and closed my eyes so I could sleep. I dozed off to sleep so easily, maybe because I knew I wasn't alone anymore. I knew Sevi was out there working.

"Hoy, Ledezma." 

My brows furrowed when I heard Sevi trying to wake me up. I faced the other side to ignore him, still closing my eyes. Parang kakatulog ko lang tapos gigisingin na ulit ako?! 

"Gumising ka nga..." He pushed my shoulder lightly. 

"What the fuck, Engineer Camero, ang aga-aga." I placed a pillow on my face so I wouldn't see the harsh light since he turned the lights on. 

"Kanina pa tumutunog cellphone mo. Naiingayan ako." He sounded annoyed. "May tumatawag sa 'yo. Alice pangalan." 

I pushed him away and turned my back against him. I was trying to sleep! Bakit ba nanggugulo siya?

"Eleven na," he said.

Agad akong napaupo sa kama, gulo-gulo pa ang buhok ko at inaantok. I almost fell on the bed when I tried to reach for my phone, which made Sevi laugh. When I looked at the time, my facial expression changed. 

"Fuck you, it's six o'clock!" I threw a pillow in his direction. Nasalo naman niya kaagad at binalik sa akin.

"Sagutin mo 'yan. Ang ingay," he simply said before leaving the room. 

"Ah! So annoying!" I pulled my hair in frustration before answering the phone. "Alice, hey?" Nag-iba ang boses ko bigla.

She just informed me that she will be late this morning kasi nasiraan ang kotse niya. My eyes were still closed, half-asleep. Sana tinext na lang niya ako. Nagising pa tuloy ako. 

I ended the call and went to the bathroom to wash my face. Pagkalabas ko ng kwarto, nakasandal si Sevi sa countertop ng kusina at may kagat na toasted bread habang nagte-text. He was wearing a pair of black jeans and a plain white shirt, nakaangat pa nang kaunti sa may belt niya. He glanced at me and took the bread out of his mouth when he saw me leaving the room. 

I was glaring at him when I went out of the room. Tinaasan naman niya ako ng kilay. "You're welcome ah," he sarcastically said. "May trabaho ka 'di ba? Ginising ka na nga, eh." 

Padabog ko siyang tinulak paalis sa countertop para kuhanin 'yong tinapay sa likuran niya. He almost stumbled so he glared at me. I rolled my eyes and opened the toaster so I could eat my breakfast. 

"Init ng ulo ah," he commented. 

"I only had three hours of sleep." I was still glaring at him. 

"Bakit galit ka sa 'kin? Kasalanan ko ba kung bakit hindi ka makatulog?" He raised a brow. 

"Yes!" I looked at him. 

My lips parted a little when I realized what I just said. He looked away, pretending that he didn't hear anything. Inubos niya na lang ang tinapay niya at pumunta sa dining para roon kumain. I pursed my lips and inhaled a large amount of air, calming myself. 

He just smirked and took a bite of his bread. I sat in front of him and reached for the chocolate spread. I tried to open it, but I just woke up, so my hands were still weak. 

I looked at Sevi, who was busy drinking his water. He raised a brow when he saw me staring at him. I gave him a cute smile before handing him the jar.

"Can you open it, please?" I asked. 

He placed the glass back on the table before getting the jar out of my hand without saying anything. He opened it with no effort and then slid it over the table until it reached me. 

"Thanks!" That small thing made me happy.

Nang matapos siyang kumain, tumayo na siya at niligpit ang pinagkainan niya. He washed the dishes before going inside the study room to get his things. When he went out, he was already holding a black bag and a hard hat. He was talking to someone on the phone. 

"Ang labo talaga, eh. Hindi talaga gigiba 'yong nasa Cavite nang ganoon lang. Ginagawa naman tayong tanga niyan, eh." He looked stressed out. 

Gumiba? What? I suddenly stopped eating. 

"Hindi mo sure, Ke..." He laughed. "Baka ilaglag ako diyan ni Attorney Martinez kasi may galit siya sa 'kin. 'Di, joke lang." 

"Are you going na?" I asked when he opened the door. 

"Mamaya ka na nga." I thought he said that to me, so my eyes widened for a bit. He ended the call and looked at me. "Alis na 'ko." 

"Okay, take care." I gave him a small smile. 

I looked at my phone calendar when he left. Ilang weeks na lang pala, birthday ko na. I was sure the company would throw a big party to celebrate my birthday, though I just wanted a small gathering if possible. Actually, wala naman akong balak i-celebrate siya since wala naman akong mai-invite na friends. 

Does Sevi know? Can I invite him? Or magiging awkward ba? Baka nga hindi niya pa alam na malapit na ang birthday ko, eh. 

I wore a simple white dress to work, with a belt on my waist so it wouldn't look loose. Naroon na si Alice nang dumating ako. She was just late for fifteen minutes. Nauna pa rin talaga siya sa 'kin. She was the best secretary I ever had. 

She went through my schedule for the whole day. Half-day lang ako ngayon, actually. Mamayang hapon, maglilibot lang ako sa branches namin. I just finished some paperwork the whole morning, and then I ate my lunch. 

I visited two hotels and also went back to our mansion to get some of my things before going home. Pagkabukas ko pa lang ng pinto, may nakaharang na. I got irritated a little, so I pushed it again but stopped when I heard Sevi's shout inside. 

"Aray ko, ah!" reklamo niya, nakahawak sa likod niya. 

"Why are you there?!" I glared at him when I went inside the unit, pulling my luggage with me. 

"Kararating ko lang, 'di ba? Nagtatanggal ako ng sapatos," he sarcastically said like I should know that! Hindi ko nga siya napansin!

He was kneeling on one knee, trying to take off his shoes. Nilagpasan ko siya at sinara ang pinto para dumeretso sa loob ng walk-in closet. I placed my bag and shoes on the shelf. I also opened my luggage so I can organize my things. Hindi pa ito ang lahat ng damit ko at may naiwan pa roon pero hindi ko naman pwedeng dalhin lahat kaagad. 

"Engineer Camero!" I shouted. "Get your ass over here!" 

"Ano?!" He opened the door and went inside, a little irritated by my shout. 

"Can you put your things on your side, please? Wala na 'kong space." I pointed at the shelves. 

"Tatlo ang cabinet ko," he pointed. "Tapos, sige, sa 'yo na 'yang natitira. Okay na, ah?" 

Wow, tatlo na ang shelf or cabinet niya. Mas marami na ang mga damit niya, huh. Tumango na lang ako habang abala siya sa paglipat ng mga gamit niya. I started placing my things too, wondering how it would fit there. 

"I can have the bathroom inside our bedroom. 'Yong bathroom near the living room 'yong sa 'yo," I negotiated. 

He nodded without saying anything. After placing my things inside the closet, I went to the bathroom so I could also place my essentials. I took his things out and transferred them to the other bathroom. 

It was around six in the evening when he went to the kitchen to cook something while I was cleaning the bedroom. Hindi ko alam kung pati ako ay kasama sa luto niya pero kung hindi, o-order na lang ako. Nakalabas na 'ko ng shower wearing my sleepwear nang matapos siyang magluto.

"Kumain ka na," he said, placing the food on the table. Kasama nga ako sa luto niya!

"Thank you. I'll wash the dishes," I said, sitting in front of him. 

"Kinain mo ba lunch mo?" He raised a brow while eating. 

I nodded... and we were filled again with silence. I had the urge to open a topic so we could talk but also stopped myself. Okay nang awkward. Less talk, fewer mistakes. 

He stood up and washed his plate, ignoring my offer. Sumimangot ako at binilisan na rin ang kain ko para ako na ang maghugas doon. I placed my plate on the side of the sink and pushed him a little using my body. 

"I can wash the dishes," I said, getting the plate out of his hand. 

"Ako na." He tried to get it again, his other hand holding a sponge. 

"Just give it to me." I started to get annoyed. 

Kinuha ko ulit ang plato at tinaas nang kaunti para hindi niya makuha sa 'kin. He tried to get it but accidentally put soap bubbles on my eye so I winced and closed my eyes. 

"Aw!" I placed the plate back on the sink and held my eye. 

"Shit, sorry." He tried to wash it with his hand, but his hand was also full of soap, so it just got worse. I yelled his name, complaining more. "Sorry!" 

I tried to open my other eye so I could put water on it, then I wiped it using the hem of my shirt. He suddenly stopped when he saw what I did. I opened my eyes again and saw him looking away. 

"Oh, fuck," I whispered when I realized that I had just shown him my black bra. 

"Sige, ikaw na maghugas." He washed his hands before leaving me immediately. 

I pursed my lips, feeling awkward now. After washing the dishes, I went inside the bathroom to do my night care routine. Sa study room ako matutulog ngayon kaya pumasok ako roon. Sevi was playing a game on his computer when I placed a pillow and a blanket on the small bed beside him. 

"I'll sleep here." I laid down on the bed and faced his side. 

"Ikaw bahala," he said, not taking his eyes off the screen. 

I closed my eyes and faced the other side so I could sleep. Nakakatulog na 'ko pero nagigising ako bigla kapag naiinis siya sa kakampi niya. 

"Bobo!" He said. 

I opened my eyes a little and faced him so he could see that I was trying to sleep. He glanced at me before fixing his headset. I closed my eyes again when he turned silent. I heard some noises again, so I opened my eyes and saw him turning off the computer. 

"Quit na nga 'ko. Kayo na lang, p're," I heard him whisper. 

I closed my eyes again. I felt him covering my shoulders with a blanket before turning off the lights and leaving the room. 

I woke up around five o'clock in the morning to go to the gym. Hindi ko alam kung gising si Sevi pero hindi na lang ako pumasok sa kwarto. I tied my hair in a ponytail and brought a bottle of water before leaving the unit. 

Pagkapasok ko sa gym sa may baba ng condo, naroon si Sevi, nakaupo at nagsusuot ng gloves sa kamay. I looked away before getting a mat. 

Wala masyadong tao sa gym. I started stretching before getting on the treadmill. Sevi was already on the lat pulldown machine to work on his back muscles. I tried to stop staring at him, so I wouldn't lose my pace on the treadmill. Muntik pa 'kong mahulog. 

After that, I did my routine. I did some butt workouts using the gym equipment. They said I changed a lot ever since I left the country. I got taller and also became fitter because I had Ida as my gym and diet buddy. 

"I think you should fix your posture a bit." A random guy placed his hand on my back while I was on fours. My brows furrowed, looking at him. 

"Don't touch me." I had to go down the equipment so I could glare at him. 

"Hey, sorry, I was just trying to help." He laughed. "Anyway, I'm Jeric. Ngayon lang kita nakita rito ah." 

"Did I ask for your name?" I raised a brow, wiping my sweat with the towel. 

I rolled my eyes when he was about to talk and turned my back against him, so I could leave, but he suddenly held my arm and pulled me towards him. My eyes widened when he was forced to let go because Sevi pushed him on the chest with one hand, still wearing gloves. 

"Problema mo?" Sevi sounded mad. 

"Whoa, whoa, dude..." The guy raised both of his hands. "I'm sorry! I didn't know, pare." 

"Oh, fuck off. How could you have more respect for him than me?" They were so fucking pathetic. "Is it because I'm a woman, huh? Is it?!" I yelled and stepped closer to him.

"You're making it such a big deal, Miss. Chill. You're not all that anyway."

I covered my mouth when Sevi suddenly grabbed the guy on the collar. The guy was trying so hard to get Sevi's hand away from him, but the grip was too strong, so I had to go in between them. 

"Sev," I called as a warning. "Let's go." I just wanted to leave. 

He suddenly let him go, which made the guy stumble until he fell to the floor. Sevi shook his head before walking away to continue his workout. 

"Fucking loser," I told the guy. "I'm not all that, huh? You're not even worth one-fourth of me." 

Uminom muna ako ng tubig bago ko kinuha ang bag ko. I was about to leave but stopped when Sevi placed his bag beside mine. 

"Hintayin mo 'ko," he said in a monotone. I sat on the bench to wait for him. 

He did his cool down before we left the gym together. Walang nagsasalita sa amin hanggang sa makarating kami sa unit. Dumeretso siya sa loob ng bathroom, so I did the same inside the bedroom. I took a cold shower and went out wearing casual clothes.

Sevi went out of the bathroom, only wearing a towel on his waist. I shamelessly surveyed his fine body but stopped when he looked at me. I pretended that I was texting until he went inside the walk-in closet to put something on. Even his back looked sexy. That was unfair. 

"What am I thinking?" I whispered to myself. 

I got up to check the fridge, trying to find something to cook. There was almost nothing. I just sipped on a bottle of juice before getting my wallet, keys, and phone. Sakto lumabas si Sevi sa kwarto wearing casual clothes too. 

"I'm going to buy some groceries. You want to come with me?" I asked, showing my car keys.

"Ayaw ko," he said before opening the fridge.

"Walang pang-breakfast diyan." I crossed my arms over my chest. "That's why I'm asking you to come with me. I can drop you off somewhere so you can buy yourself breakfast." 

He sighed and nodded. Wala siyang choice. He followed me until we reached the parking lot. Hindi pa bukas ang grocery sa baba ng condo, so I had to go somewhere else just to waste some time. Sevi sat on the shotgun seat, looking around my car. 

"You want to connect your phone?" I pointed at the screen. 

"Wow..." He scoffed before turning the Bluetooth on so he could add his phone to the device list. He changed his device name.

'Pogi' 

I started the engine and waited a bit before driving away. He connected his phone and started playing some music. The songs were unfamiliar to me. Hindi ko na lang pinansin. 

Napansin kong kinakabahan pa rin siya dahil ako ang nagda-drive. He was glancing on the sideview mirror from time-to-time. Palagi pa niyang sinasabi sa akin kapag may motor sa gilid o kapag may lilikong sasakyan na para bang hindi ko nakikita.

I told him where we were headed so he could put it on Waze, then we arrived in front of a superstore. Sevi followed me from behind until I told him to get us a cart. I showed the guard my membership card before entering. 

"Ang aga-aga, alak kaagad?" My brows furrowed when Sevi went straight to the liquor section in front. 

"Tinitingnan ko lang," Sevi defended himself. 

I rolled my eyes before pushing the cart away. Inagaw din naman sa 'kin ni Sevi at siya na ang nagtulak habang naghahanap ako ng bibilhin. I put some fruits and vegetables inside the cart, and then some ready-made salad bowls. Sevi also bought some meat before pushing the cart away. 

"Engineer Camero! Wow!" 

My eyes widened when I saw Engineer Lavin in front of us. Sevi and I suddenly stopped walking, hindi na makatakas sa mapang-asar na ngiti ng kaibigan niya. I panicked a little. I thought of running but that would make things even weirder. 

"Ang cute naman. Parang mag-asawa lang." Engineer Lavin laughed, teasing us.

"W-we just saw each other h-here." I tried to find an excuse. 

"Ah, pero isa lang 'yong cart?" He laughed before looking at Sevi. "Ayos ka talaga, master! Ito pala ang libangan mo kapag Sunday! Kaya pala pass ka sa inuman mamaya! Napakagaling mo!" 

"He's just helping me with my groceries." I tried again. 

"Weh?" Engineer Lavin wasn't convinced. "Mamaya live-in na pala kayo, ah!" I almost choked on my own saliva when he said that. 

"Ang ingay mo 'no?" sarkastikong sabi ni Sevi. 

"Bakit hindi ka makakapunta sa inuman mamaya, Engineer? Gusto mo sa condo mo na lang tayo uminom para makasama ka?" Engineer Lavin smiled. 

"Busy nga ako." Sevi cleared his throat. 

"Busy saan?! Bebi time?" Engineer Lavin let out a teasing laugh. 

Tinulak ni Sevi ang cart para sagasaan si Engineer Lavin kaya agad itong tumabi, tumatawa pa rin. I gave him an apologetic smile before walking away. Sevi bought some laundry detergent and other cleaning essentials. I was about to pay for it, but he was quick to give the cashier lady his credit card. 

"Wow," I whispered. "Sugar daddy." 

"Daddy lang, hindi sugar." The side of his lips rose. 

That was a lame joke but that still made me laugh. Hindi lang ako. Natawa rin 'yong cashier lady sa sinabi niya. After paying, he pushed the cart until we reached the car. 

"Speaking of, bakit wala ka pang anak?" I asked while helping him put our groceries inside the compartment. He mentioned something about having kids before,

"Asawa nga, wala, eh," seryosong sabi niya. 

"Bakit wala pa?" I asked, getting more curious now. Not that I wanted him to have a wife, of course. I was also just curious if he had... partners after me. 

"Mahirap." He closed the door. 

"Mahirap 'yong?" I asked again. 

"Mahirap mag-open ulit sa tao. Ikukwento ko na naman lahat. Sasabihin ko na naman mga sikreto ko, mga paborito ko. Ipapakilala ko na naman sarili ko. Parang back to zero. Nakakapagod lang." He pushed his tongue on the insides of his cheek, looking away. 

"Oh..." I whispered, getting the idea. 

"Parang cycle na lang. Kapag iniwan ako, ganoon ulit. Huwag na lang, 'di ba?" He looked at me before getting inside the car. 

Natahimik tuloy ako habang nagda-drive. I felt guilty for leaving him, but I didn't actually regret it because I had to do it for myself. I had to bring back my sanity. I wanted to make peace with myself. I wanted to rest and go far away from everything that happened. 

"Drive-thru tayo? Let's buy breakfast," I suggested while driving. 

He just nodded, listening to music. Like what I said, dumaan kami sa drive-thru. I stopped the car in front of the little speaker, where I could hear the crew. 

"Good day, Ma'am or Sir! May I take your order, please?" the woman said. 

I unconsciously looked back at Sevi. "Babe, what's-" 

I stopped. Sevi blinked twice, surprised and amused at the same time. I looked away and placed my arm over the window so I could say my order. When I looked back at Sevi, he was smirking at me, obviously teasing. 

"W-what's yours?" I couldn't talk properly now.

"Pancakes," he said, still trying to stop himself from laughing.

"And two-piece pancakes, please," sabi ko ulit sa may bintana. "That's all." 

Nag-drive na ulit ako papunta sa counter pagkatapos magbayad para hintayin ang order namin. I was looking in front the whole time, gripping the steering wheel tightly. Sevi put his elbow beside the window and played with his lips a little using his fingers, trying to stifle a chuckle. 

"What's funny?" I glared at him. 

"Wala. Hindi naman ako tumatawa," he defended himself. 

I rolled my eyes before getting the paper bags from the woman. I gave the paper bags to Sevi so he could hold them for me while I was trying to get my wallet. Inabot ko na 'yong bayad at nag-drive na paalis. 

"Can you get my burger right there? I'm hungry," I said while driving. 

Sevi opened the paper bag to find my burger. Inalis niya nang kaunti ang wrapper bago inabot sa 'kin. I stopped the car because of the red light. 

I could see him smirking from my peripheral vision. "Ito na, babe." 

"Thank you, love-" I stopped and hit him lightly on his arm. "Stop it! Damn!" 

I rolled my eyes when I heard him laugh. Padabog kong kinuha ang burger sa kamay niya at nag-drive na ulit. I was cursing myself inside my head. Parang automatic na sa system ko na ganoon ang sabihin sa tagal naming magkasama. I should refresh my brain! He knew about it kaya pinaglaruan niya ang utak ko! He knew my mouth would slip. 

"I'm sorry. Forget what I said, okay?" I said, frustrated. "I wasn't thinking." 

He shrugged, walang pakialam sa sinabi ko. He was just staring outside the window. 

When we arrived at the unit, I went straight to the bedroom to place my things while he was fixing the groceries in the kitchen. After that, he stayed inside the study room while I stayed in the living room to watch Netflix. Busog kami pareho dahil sa breakfast, so no one ate lunch. 

I decided to do my laundry since may washing machine naman sa bathroom. I gathered my dirty clothes and put them on the floor so I could split the colors. I placed the colored ones inside the washing machine and added some powder before pushing the button. It was already set. 

I went out to clean the living room using the vacuum while waiting for my clothes. When I heard the alarm, I went back to the bathroom to pick up my clothes. My eyes widened when I saw an unfamiliar polo shirt inside. White siya pero naging medyo blue na bigla. 

"Oh no..." I covered my mouth when I saw the logo of Valeria company on the side. 

I stood up and went outside the bathroom, panicking a little. I stopped in front of the study room, biting my finger. I took a deep breath before knowing. I was so nervous. Paano ko sasabihin?! 

"Uhm..." I couldn't talk when I went inside.

Sevi looked back at me. He was sketching something, but he stopped when he saw me inside. His gaze went down from my face to the shirt I was holding. 

"I... I didn't... notice that... your shirt... Nasama siya sa laundry ko." I looked away. He was just staring at me, which made me even more nervous.

"Akin 'yan?" His brows furrowed. 

"Yeah. You can't recognize it anymore? Maybe because it was white a few hours ago." I nervously laughed. 

"Hala... Pucha," he whispered when he got the shirt out of my hand. "Hala, kailangan ko 'to bukas." 

"Really? Oh no." I wanted to cry. "I'm sorry! I don't know what to do! Should I wash it again? M-maybe it will go back to white?" 

"Hindi 'yan babalik sa puti." He shook his head a little. "Hayaan mo na." 

"I'm sorry..." I pouted.

He went back to his work, ignoring me. Galit ba siya? I bit my lower lip before going back to the bathroom. I placed the rack near the balcony so I could hang my clothes there. I felt so guilty that I couldn't look at him anymore. 

My eyes widened when I heard a doorbell. Napatingin ako sa pinto at dahan-dahang naglakad palapit para sumilip sa peephole. 

"Oh my god," I whispered before walking backwards, panicking. 

I ran inside the study room and closed the door. Sevi looked at me again with his brows furrowed because he had to stop working again. 

"Y-your... Your friends are outside!" I couldn't talk.

"Sinong mga kaibigan?" He stood up. 

"Engineer Lavin, Engineer Castillo, Bianca, and two unfamiliar faces." I bit my finger. "I don't want them to know that we're... we're living together, for heaven's sake!" That would look so wrong!

He told me to go inside the bedroom and let him deal with them so I ran inside the bedroom and locked it, putting my ear on the door, so I could hear their conversation outside. 

"Bakit kayo nandito?" Sevi asked. 

"Inom, 'di ba?! Tara na!" I heard Engineer Castillo's voice inside like they had already gone through the hallway. 

"Bakit, Engineer? May kasama ka ba?" Bianca was already inside too.

"Wala," Sevi casually answered.

"Wala?" Engineer Lavin asked again. "Baka may tinatago ka lang, eh!"

"Wala nga. Umalis na kayo. Susunod na lang ako sa inuman." I could hear Sevi's frustrated voice. 

"Shit, oy, tara na. Umalis na tayo!" Engineer Lavin suddenly changed his mind. "Hoy, tara na! Lumayas na tayo rito!" 

"Engineer Camero, bakit may panty at bra na nakasabit doon?" Another person suddenly asked.

I muttered a curse, realizing that I forgot to take my clothes with me. What will Sevi's excuse be this time?!

"Sa 'kin 'yan." Sevi panicked.

I covered my mouth to stop myself from laughing. I knew it wasn't the moment to laugh, but I couldn't stop it. I imagined Sevi's face while saying that. That sounded so stupid!

"Umalis na kayo." Sevi tried again. "May ginagawa ako."

"Tara na kasi! Engineer Ramos, hoy!" Engineer Lavin called again. "Sa amin na lang tayo mag-inuman!"

"Kanino 'yon, Engineer Camero?" Bianca asked. She sounded hurt. 

"Sa asawa ko," Sevi answered. "Okay na? Umalis na kayo. Ayaw niya ng bisita."
