A/N: yes I know I've been dead for the past few months but I've been so caught up with school work and writers block but I'm going to try to update my stories once again. I'm more active on my Instagram if anyone cares

"You said you wanted to see me?"

"I guess I did."

"What do you want?"

"I'm not a monster."

"Right."

Rey stepped out from the doorway and moved a few steps into the room, with a quick hand she slicked her loose and tangled hair behind her ears.

"Why don't you believe me?"

"Because. I know what your capable of."

Ren blinked at her and took a deep breath before lifting his frame up from the bed he was sitting on before. His heavy boots shuffled closer towards Rey and she flinched at his sudden movement.

"Am I still the monster you say I am?"

He spoke slowly, his breath heavy and warm by her face. Rey listened to the intake of breath he took and the outtake soon after. Her breath hitched and she became as stiff as a bored.

"Funny how you don't seem to want to answer me now."

"Who said I had to listen to you?"

"Me."

"Right, sure."

Ren only chuckled in response and he positioned his face closer to hers, his lips curved into a slick smirk.

"I can make you listen."

"Yeah right..."

He took that as a sign and swooped in quickly trying to catch her lips with his. Rey found her reflexes to be faster though, for she jerked back slightly, but enough so their lips couldn't touch.

"Nice try...captain."

Rey stepped back slowly from his face and walked out of the room. Before turning the corner and going back to check on BB she turned back to face Ren.

"I'm not that easy."

With a small wink she finally turned the corner and headed out from his sight.

"Where were you?"

"It's no big deal, BB."

"Just tell me please. You're the only person here who has not treated me like crap and I just don't want to feel so alone..."

BB's eyes started to water and Rey gathered the younger girl up in her arms.

"It's going to be okay, I just didn't want to tell you so you won't worry. I just went to see the Captain."

BB roughly pulled away from Rey's embrace and went pale.

"Which Captain? As in Captain Snoke...?"

"No...it was Ren who called me."

Soon enough the color had started to return to BB's cheeks but she still had a general look of fear stricken across her face.

"Don't worry BB, everything will be okay."

"Well I hope so..."

"I thought I established a curfew on this ship and last time I checked you aren't above my rules."

Rey sharply turned around the face him.

"I don't go by your rules last time I checked and anyways I need some air."

"Mind if I join you then?"

In response she only laughed before turning her back towards him.

"Sure if you want," Rey finally replied over her shoulder.

"Where are you going anyways?"

"Up on the deck, like I said before I need fresh air."

Ren nodded and simply followed her as she walked up the steps towards the ships deck. Most people were asleep in their cabins so barely any crewmen were up on the deck.

"Now this feels much better..."

Rey outstretched her arms up to the faded night sky and smiled, breathing in the crisp sea air.

"Nice isn't it?"

"Yeah."

Rey's eyes remained closed as she took in the crisp cool air of the night. Soon enough her eyes shot open in alarm as she felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist from behind her.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?"

"Just relax."

Rey gave a defeated sigh before turning back to face the night sky, she closed her eyes once again, the electric feeling of Ren's arms around her searing through her thoughts.

"Good Night Rey..."

He spoke in a slight whisper, his voice sending chills down her spine. Bending his head down slightly Ren kissed her collarbone gently before walking away into the night and all Rey heard was the sound of his heavy boots fading away.
