"You're the sophomore rep?"

"Yup!" confident na sagot ni George as she sported a wide grin on her face. It took so much inner strength to stop herself from yelling 'Hah!' to his face.

Akala nito she can't be responsible? Well joke's on him 'coz she's here to prove him wrong. Because this brat he's been judging ain't here to play.

"Is this some kind of a joke?" anas nito that made her grin vanish. "You? A student leader?"

"Yes. I won fair and square," she answered back. "What's it to you ba? You really think I'm not capable of being an officer? Excuse you, I'm responsible and dedicated. It's just a bonus that I'm also pretty and smart."

The Dos guy just eyed her from head to toe before raising an eyebrow. That made her unnecessarily self conscious kaya she furrowed her brows.

"What do you think you're doing?!" bulyaw niya dito and automatically crossed her arms over her upper torso.

"Tss."

The guy just turned around and walked towards the desk up front and started to flip through his book. She scoffed before walking in and sitting on the front row. Nakakainis talaga ito. He's so sungit and a bully.

"You can't seat there," mataray na sambit nito. "Para sa mga higher officials 'yan."

She just rolled her eyes before standing back up.

"Sorry," she spat. "I wasn't informed na there's discrimination pala here."

Padabog na lumipat siya sa pinaka huling row. That made that Dos guy raise his eyebrow before breaking into a smirk and turning his attention back to his book.

Again, she rolled her eyes and tumingin sa may bintana. Dos Montecillo is so...nakakirita he's not that great naman nga pero he thinks he's better than everyone. It's like his ego was as big as Jupiter.

Lihim na nagnakaw siya ng tingin dito. Okay, so he's kinda gwapo. But that's it. Kahit good looking siya eh that doesn't mean hindi na siya pwede maging devil. Because he is. Ang sama sama ng ugali niya and he's so nakakainis. He's bossy pa—kahit hindi pa nga nagsstart, and also masungit. Major turn off.

Asan na kaya yung ibang officers? What's taking them so long ba?

"Quit staring," he suddenly said making her immediately look away.

"I-I'm not staring at you kaya!" she immediately denied. "Feelingero ka."

"I didn't say you were staring at me, though," nakangising pang-aasar pa nito sa kanya making her clam up.

Damn him. Nasan na ba kasi yung ibang officers? What's taking them so long?

"Wag ka masyadong magpahalata, Watermelon Girl," the guy teased even more. "Are you sure na sumali ka sa HSSC because you want to lead? Or..."

Hindi niya namalayang nakalapit na pala sa kanya si Mr. President when she suddenly turned to face him. He had his hands propped on both edges of the table and was leaning in really close. Too close.

Grabe. He's so handsome pala. And his skin looked so soft. What skincare kaya ang ginagamit niya? And his lips... She involuntarily gulped.

They were so rosy and red. The smirk pa on his face was super sexy, her heart suddenly doubled in beat. What's happening to her ba? Why does he suddenly look so attractive kahit he's super nakakinis?

So she closed her eyes.

"Pfft."

As she opened her eyes back up, she saw Dos smirking—again. She suddenly felt her face burn out of embarrassment.

"I don't do little girls. Especially spoiled ones," anito. "Kaya kung hindi naman genuine ang pagsali mo sa Student council, I suggest you to just give the position to someone who deserves it."

Isang matalim na tingin ang ibinato niya sa lalaki bago tumayo at tinulak ito ng malakas.

"How dare you!" bulalas niya. "Sino ka ba to tell me that I don't deserve this position? Just because I'm a girl doesn't mean I can't lead better than you. How misogynistic can you be?!"

The guy just stood up straight and ipinasok ang isang kamay sa bulsa. The look on his face was like he's taunting her or something. Mas lalo tuloy siyang naginit at parang gusto niya itong batuhin ng something.

"It's not that you're a girl, Watermelon. It's how you act."

"Stop calling me that because I have a name!" singhal niya dito. "It's Georgina. G-E-O-R-G-I-N-A. In case your narrow mind can't even spell right."

Her hands were clenched tightly on her sides as she fumed. Nafeel niya din yung panumuo ng tears sa eyes niya.

"Ang sama mo!" she yelled.

Ang yabang yabang nito. Ang feeling superior. He's also cruel and... and...

She was about to scream at him pero hindi natuloy dahil biglang pumasok sa room si River with other students following him.

"Uh... anong ganap?" confused na tanong ni River as he walked closer. The students behind him were also curious.

"Nothing," tipid na sagot ni Dos before walking back to his pwesto kanina. River turned to her to ask but she stayed on her position at matalim na nakatingin sa president nila.

"I hate you..." she mumbled pertaining to the super mayabang na student council president.

"George, may problema ba—"

"Let's start," Dos suddenly cut River off. Gone was the teasing smirk he had. Blank na yung expression nito and his brows were furrowed as well.

He's so rude. So he's the one who's galit pa eh he started it. He's so mean.

Aside from their word fight, the meeting went well. There were occasional eye rolls from her part but it wasn't such a big deal. She introduced herself to everyone and so did the other representatives. After that, they were given copies of the student council handbooks and rulebook.

"That would be all. Meeting adjourned."

Without a word, Dos left the room in a hurry. Not even bothering to apologize to her for his rudeness. At least she apologized to him nung natapunan niya ito ng apple juice even though he deserved it for perving under the bleachers.

Gosh she's so mabait talaga.

"Hey, George. Okay ka lang ba?" River asked as the students got out of the room. Sila na lang ang natira sa loob.

She took a deep breath and gave him her warmest smile. Alam niya he's concerned lang pero she didn't want to burden him na with her problems. Saka they're not that close din naman and he's related to the demonyo so baka they'll get into a fight pa kapag nagsumbong siya or something.

She's so nice talaga.

"Yup!" she answered. "Why wouldn't I be?"

Still, River didn't look convinced. So she smiled even wider.

"I'm really okay," she tried to convinced him. "Promise. I'll get going na kasi baka nasa cafeteria na friends ko for lunch."

She didn't wait for him to answer and just ran out of the room. Dumiretso muna siya to her classroom to get her wallet before heading to the cafeteria where her friends are already at.

"G! Over here!" Addy called raising her hand. She smiled and immediately walked towards her friend. "How's your first meeting? Was it good?"

Tumango siya as she seated next to Lia across Addy. Lia pushed a plate towards her containing salad so she said thank you before answering Addy.

"It's okay naman. Though nakakainis yung president," kwento niya. Addy tilted her head to the side—confused. "It's nothing I can't handle naman. You know me. I never back down from a fight."

"Oh. Okay," nakangiting saad nito. "The audition list for the Preforming Arts club is already up. Will you sign up pa?"

Natigilan siya sa pagsubo ng kinakain. Right. Mag-aaudition pala dapat siya for the Performing Arts club. But with Student Council in the way, will she be able to focus?

"About that... pinagiisipan ko pa," she answered honestly. "I might not be able to rehearse kasi we'll be doing a lot of student council things daw. If you still want to join, Addy, you can. I believe in you and I'm sure you can get in without me naman."

"You think so?" tanong nito. "I'm really scared kasi. Baka I'll get stage fright or something."

Hinawakan niya ang kamay ni Addy and gave it a gentle squeeze.

"You can do it, Addy," she assured her. "You're a great singer. You don't need me or anyone to get in. Saka Lia and I will cheer you on sa audience if ever."

"She's right, you know," segunda naman ni Lia while munching on her lunch. "I might be asleep the whole time but rest assured, kapag ikaw na yung nagpe-perform, magigising ako para mag-cheer."

Addy smiled—a bit teary eyed, and nodded.

"Thank you guys," anito as she tried her best not to be emotional. But failed as she started crying. Sa kanila kasing tatlo, Addy's kinda the crybaby.

"I'm sorry," Addy said as she tried to wipe off her tears with the back of her hand. "It's just... I'm so lucky talaga for having you two as my friends. I don't know what I'll do without you."

"Aww, Addy..."

She tried to look for her hanky pero naiwan niya ata 'yon sa classroom. Wala rin si Lia—as usual, and wala din ata si Addy. So she shot up from her seat para kumuha ng tissue somewhere.

But as she did, bigla na lang may kung anong tumama sa kanya. Her eyes grew in size when she felt that someone who bumped into her remove the plate from her chest. Dahandahan siyang tumingin sa may dibdib niya and saw smashed strawberry shortcake all over her uniform! And worse, nalaglag din ang iba 'non on her shoes!

"Oh my God!" she screamed. For sure ay mahirap tanggalin ang mantsa sa kanyang Chanel cardigan and black pumps. And those two were her current faves!

Pero may magagawa pa ba siya? It was clearly an accident and whoever did that naman eh for sure hindi yon sinasadya. She also got up din kasi too quickly kaya hindi niya napansin na may makakabangga pala siya.

"So—"

"I'm—" Napahinto siya when she recognized the voice. "You!"

She takes it back. Kasalanan na nito ang nangyari. For sure ay sinadya ni Dos Montecillo ang lahat because he's really mean and he wants to embarrass her in front of everyone. Hindi na enough for him that he made her feel really upset with his words kanina but he'd really do this pa. Ugh! He's really a demonyo!

"Sinadya mo 'to!" she screamed. "You ruined my clothes on purpose!"

If kanina ay magulo at maingay yung cafeteria, ngayon ay tumahimik ito. Even Dos was just staring at her. He didn't look like he was going to apologize to her. She saw Lia and Addy getting up para lapitan siya.

"You even ruined my shoes!" she added. "Are you really that low? Past time mo bang mam-bully talaga?"

She heard gasps from the other students who were watching them. Totoo naman kasi. He's bullying her. Simula pa lang nung unintentionally niyang nabuhusan ito ng apple juice.

"What? You won't even apologize?!"

"Hindi ko kasalanan ang nangyari," malamig nitong sambit. His eyes were blank and expressionless. "Bigla ka na lang tumayo and didn't even check kung may mabubunggo ka. So kung tutuusin, it was your fault and not mine."

Napamaang siya and he just walked pass her. He was so rude! And saying it was her fault? The audacity!

That's it! No more Miss Nice Georgina.

She took off her shoes—yup her Chanel black pumps, and threw it towards the guy. Pipigilan pa sana siya ni Lia but she was too late. The shoe already hit Dos' back that made everyone in the cafeteria gasp.

"George!" rinig niyang saway ng kaibigan niya. But she ignored her and looked straight at Dos Montecillo's back. Fuming.

"Ang kapal talaga ng face mo!" she yelled. She was glaring at him and her hands balled into a fist on her sides. "You're rude! You're a bully! And you don't even know how to apologize! Tao ka pa ba!? You're a demonyo! I hate you—"

She wasn't able to continue her rant because Lia immediately pulled her away. Sayang because Dos turned na to face her. He looked quite angry. But she didn't care. She's pissed at him for many reasons din kaya it's only patas. She's not just gonna let him bully her. She's Xaris Georgina Gray. She's won't back down without a fight!

Kaya before Lia could forcibly pull her out of the room, pumihit siya to face the devil and yelled at him.

"Sana... Sana you hit your pinky toe sa table para masakit! I hate you!"
