CHAPTER THREE -  BLOOD IS THE NEW TURN ON

━━━━━ •:•☾☼☽•:• ━━━━━

JOSEPHINE ROLLED HER EYES out of anger and slammed her phone onto the table that her and Paige were sharing. Right now, they were seated in a local Starbucks since they had been traveling, on airplanes for the last week. Josephine really needed to stretch her legs - and she also needed a coffee to keep up with her hectic schedule.

From the other side of the table, Paige had looked up from her phone with her eyebrow raised over at her and then her gaze went down towards the phone that lit up with a message. "What's the matter, hun?" she questioned before she lifted her straw to her red painted lips.

"My crew back in Los Angeles are unbelievable." She huffed out in response and Paige could only link her words towards her gymnastics gym that Josephine had bought herself. "They either have half a brain, or none at all." She grumbled under her breath. "I have to do everything myself."

It didn't even take a half a second before the British native to reach over the table for Josephine's cellular device and unlock it after entering the pass-code. Jo's icy blue eyes flickered up at her best-friend after stirring her drink with her straw, growing more curious as Paige started to type a message.

She couldn't help but feel a little bit of anxiousness start to build since she didn't know exactly what Paige was typing but she had a couple guesses and none of them were nice. Jo was always careful of how she portrayed herself during work hours - she didn't need her team thinking they could walk all over her and just get a slap on the wrist.

"There--" Paige's words sliced through the silence. "--now those fuck-tards won't bother you for the rest of the week." she informed her.

Josephine grabbed her phone from the table once Paige slid it over and then took a sip of her drink and taking a bite of her last scone. "What did you do?" Jo whined while checking the written message which had been read but no reply from any of her workers.

Paige shrugged her shoulders. "I told them to get their shit together, figure it out, or you'll fire them."

"Paige!" Josephine shrieked. Her eyes bulged through her head while her eyebrows rose on her forehead. "I still need people willing to work for me you know, I don't need you scaring them away."

"Technically, they think it's you who replied back."

"Not the point." Josephine was about to reply to her employee's when she decided to leave it and lock her phone. Her eyes glanced up at the walkway by the bathroom when AJ walked out, putting his hair back into his baseball cap before sitting down at the table.

"Took ya long enough, mate." Josephine took her legs off his seat, only to have AJ grab her feet and put them back on his lap.

AJ glanced over at the blonde after finishing his yawn. "You guys ready to get going?" AJ questioned while he fished through his short pocket for the car keys, then handing them to Josephine whom rolled her eyes. "You signed up for driving when you decided to make this career your life choice."

Another eye roll came from the blonde before she picked up the keys from the small wooden table. "Yeah, yeah." she shrugged him off while pulling her chair back towards the table before leaving with her two friends coming close behind her.

Josephine pulled her sunglasses down from her head and back onto her eyes as the sun hit her upon immediately walking out of the coffee shop.

"HOLY FUCK IS THAT AJ STYLES?!"

Both Josephine and Paige turned around to watch AJ freeze like a deer caught in headlights. Josephine's eyes glanced at the two teenage girls running towards the group with their phones out, ready to stick it in their faces and ask for pictures.

Jo remembered the story AJ told her of how crazy these fan girls could get, and described how he got asked to sign a girl's bra -- the one she was wearing. She couldn't stop crying for hours of laughter after that, and she could feel her cheeks rise up as she thought of it.

AJ looked towards Paige and Josephine before turning around with a smile on his face to greet the two fans, which were totally gushing over him. Josephine could see it on their faces, and how they lit up when he signed one of their phone cases.

"Hey, do you mind taking a photo for us?" The brunette turned her eyes towards Josephine and stuck her phone out for the blonde to grab.

She saw Paige in the corner of her eye give her a look and her red lips turned upwards and then slipped underneath her teeth, trying to control her laugh. Josephine knew that she wouldn't be able to live down this moment of not getting recognized with her best-friend, and for the next five years: this would be the joke told for drunk parties.

"No, of course not." Jo smiled back at the two girls and took the women's phone. She waited for the two girls to get into position while Josephine flipped the camera around to face her, and then took a picture of herself quickly with her tongue out.

After taking several photos for the teenagers. The trio were soon back into their vehicle and driving towards the next city that would house their next televised show in Manchester, thankfully, It was a couple hours away from Starbucks.

━━━━━ •:•☾☼☽•:• ━━━━━

WWE was in Manchester for the next two days, and Josephine had six days left to prove herself worthy enough to get onto that Survivor Series Paper-view. She knew it was a long shot, and she didn't want Paige to give her special treatment just because she was her best-friend. That would give her bad rep with the other girls in the locker room and she didn't want that.

She was finding it hard to even get herself an opening match, a match that was seen as a 'warm up' for the matches to come. She saw the other ladies in the locker room, a lot of them were more deserving than her, who was she trying to get herself a place into the paper-view?

Paige wanted her to be the next big thing. But since they were a week away from Survivor Series, the match cards were pretty much filled and if they weren't - had already been planned out. Becky was already set for her match for survivor series with none other than the Baddest Bitch on the Planet, Ronda Rousey, which had been building for weeks since Becky's heel turn.

Vince McMahon planned to have her in the mix after Survivor Series wrapped up since she was sort of floating around right now. But since winning against the Smackdown Women's Champion, Josephine had committed herself to working harder than ever in the gym each morning. Sometimes she even took it farther than that and even went to the gym at nights or when she found herself staring up at the ceiling with sleep not taking a hold of her for hours upon hours.

To say that she was not starting to feel the exhaustion of always traveling would be a lie. She was and her body was already screaming at her to calm the hell down and just take a moment to breathe.

Since she had defeated Becky, she knew that all eyes would be upon her with the Universe, but now she already had women in the locker room talking about how she just walked in here, beat one of the top women in the industry all thanks to the General Manager.

AJ told her that the women would get over it with time and that everyone started somewhere, and even told her 'at-least you never waltzed in here after The all Women's Paper-view'.

After changing into some black high-waisted leather shorts, and the Smackdown's T-shirt cropped with slits at the sides and back. She realized that she might just be in the best shape she has been in since she had been in High School.

"Damn, look who it is. The miniature of myself." Seth Rollins said with admiration, while Jo walked down the empty walkway of the arena. Her eyes watched as the crew members were still doing sound checks before Monday Night Raw will take place.

Josephine pulled her oversize black sweater to her body, her hands hitting every seat on the way down to the barricade. "The one and only." She smiled up at him, maneuvering over the barricade to stand next to Rollins and the group of Wrestlers that stood with him.

"The invasion taking place tonight? I'm seeing a bunch of Smackdown ladies in this buildin'." Finn's arms were crossed over his chest while he scratched his ear, looking around the empty arena, seeing Sonya standing over by the stage with Mandy.

"We aren't supposed to be here until later but most of us can't help it." Josephine shrugged while jumping up onto the barricade to sit and dangle her legs off the side. "I'm just here to annoy people." she said while smiling over at Finn, whom smiled back.

"Is annoying Lynch on your radar as well?" Drew came walking down the ramp to meet up with the group that gathered around the steel pole.

He noticed Becky in the stands sitting down in one of the empty seats while making his way towards them, he also noticed the fact that she had been glaring down at the newest employee.

Josephine caught his glance as he stood next to Finn, slapping his back rather hard for a greeting and leaving a smug smirk on his face when the Irish native turned his head to glance up.

"Why does everyone think that? I've beat her once and proved she's not invincible as she thinks she is."

"Well.. she's up there brewing up a storm inside her head." Drew gestured over towards the fuming red-head in the stands without making it obvious that all of them were currently talking about her.

Josephine turned her head to look over at the ginger in question, immediately making Drew groan out with how obvious she made it. Did this girl not understand the hint of subtlety? Her blue eyes connected with Becky's for a brief moment before Becky turned her head away quickly.

Becky had been caught staring into oblivion, not even noticing that she had been staring back at the blonde until the voice on her phone called out to her. "Lynch, are we clear on it?" Stephanie McMahon called through the phone, unaware that her thoughts had been elsewhere.

"Of course, Steph." Becky grumbled over the phone. She didn't like the answer she had received. She hoped by calling Stephanie about not working well with Josephine, that she would've been paired with Charlotte again.

Stephanie scraped that idea ever since Josephine made her debut, and told expressed that her and Charlotte had been done a million times over and over. It was time for something new and refreshing, and that refreshing was The Mad Hatter, even if Becky hated it.

She was overly pissed off about the fact that Josephine was literally everywhere now and she couldn't get away from her. Becky didn't even need to spot Josephine in the crowd to notice that she was in the same room as her. It was as if she could feel the blonde from a mile away and it was seriously getting old that even though she despised her, she was all she could think about.

Josephine turned her head back around after staring back at the red-head, secretly hoping that she would look back up at her, but she didn't. "She's just pissed off because I pinned her." she told them. Which wasn't exactly the whole story, but it was some of it.

What was she suppose to tell them? That she and Becky had a hot night after she betrayed Charlotte after Hell in A Cell, and then proceeded to lead her on until she found out that the ginger was engaged? Wouldn't that be something to talk about.

Finn and Seth shared a look, clearly they were thinking the same thing: there was more to this story than what Josephine was telling them. Finn personally knew that Becky was one to not just get extremely pissed of a loss. Upset maybe, but she wouldn't be sitting and staring daggers down at the blonde.

Josephine's eyes flickered between the two men and she felt herself panic for a moment, spitting out her next words. "Anyways, how's your fiancé doing?" she directed her words over towards the Irish man.

Josephine personally didn't even know Logan, but she did hear how she was the RAW Women's Champion before Ronda walked in here and gave her a serious concussion, making her take time off to heal.

"She's doing good. A lot of doctor visits lately though." He informed her. Josephine saw the way his face lit up when he talked about her. It was cute and clearly they were head over heels for one another. "She would've been here today but she's visiting family, or I would've introduced you two."

"That would've been cool." Josephine smiled back at him. "Maybe next time." The group talked among each other until they were all called out of the ring part of the arena since the doors were opening and the show was gonna begin in a quick two minutes.

━━━━━ •:•☾☼☽•:• ━━━━━

JOSEPHINE stood backstage while watching Sasha roll Bayley into the Bank Statement as the Makeup Team was behind her curling the last strand of her half-up ponytail. The whole Smackdown Women's Roster stood beside her. All of them carefully watching the last match of the night wrap up before they were to attack.

"Alright ladies," Paige said while walking down towards them. "This is our time to shine and show RAW that we are the superior brand. Lynch will be leading the invasion into RAW starting with Rousey, and then lead with the distraction while all of you attack them from behind."

Paige finished, receiving a few responses of excitement from around the room. Josephine turned her head when a pair of hands landed on her shoulders, "Alright Ponytail, you ready to square up?" Sonya smiled down at her.

"When am I not ready to put my hair up and square up?" Josephine smiled back at her.

"Without further ado, let's go kick some serious ass." Paige said, raising a hand to appeal for silence while she spoke out. When she did finish her sentence, the whole group exploded out into conversation and roars.

Everyone was lead outside of the backstage area of the arena, and into the concession stands while the Promo cut to Lynch having Ronda locked into her Dis-arm-her, and Ronda screaming her heart out. It brought satisfaction to those who could hear it from back here, echoing through the screens placed around the concessions stands.

Becky had always lived for these invasion angles, and you could tell from the sheer enjoyment plastered on her face during the whole Promo, yelling taunts back at Ronda as her legs thrashed about. It wasn't a secret that Ronda wasn't as loved from the other Women in the locker room, but they did show her some respect to some degree.

When Becky's music hit, it drew an exceptionally loud cheer from the fans, who were already on their feet from witnessing the torture she put Rousey through just mere seconds ago. Josephine watched on the monitor, her blue eyes focused on Becky swaggered down the ramp with a sick and confident smile on her face.

Sasha and Bayley were now on the outside of the ring, merely forgotten from the fact that the ginger was on the RAW brand - the hottest Women on television right now. Becky stared at the team as she reached the ring; she could feel the crowd chanting her name, not even hearing it at this point.

This was their cue as Becky rose her hands up in the air, already triumphant before the real fight had already begun. Josephine was the second women to crash through the doors and start walking towards the ring through the crowd with Naomi and Asuka on her tail.

"THE Man is on RAW," Becky declared, but could be barely heard over the combination of Becky chants and her music. "This is my show now!"

Charlotte was the first who had slid into the ring by the post and then Josephine slid in behind Charlotte, pouncing towards the pink haired woman of The Riott Squad. The rest had been chaos from there, everything was about kicking their ass and showing that Smackdown would come on top.

Josephine was backed into the corner by the three members of The Riott Squad, while she knew going for Liv would have been a risk, and put the two other women on her back - it was a risk she was willing to take. Before she knew it, Sarah Logan had been pushed and thrown out of the corner by Becky, who instinctively went to Jo's side before she remembered that she hated this woman.

The look on the blonde's face was all Becky needed to switch targets, and swerved to Nia Jax, who was being handled by Naomi in the corner. She went in for a punch of her own and it was the last thing she clearly remembered, but Josephine seen it all.

Her blue eyes flickered towards the mop of orange hair before it all happened. She watched the huge fist wind backwards and smack Becky square in the eye and then she crashed into the mat, thrashing with pain before barely stumbling back to her feet. Jo saw the blood stained hand that came down after she wiped her nose.

But Josephine couldn't stare for long until she got a boot to the midsection and was forced to look away by the time Becky reached the side of the ring, gripping onto the ropes as her vision blacked out for a few seconds.

Jo launched her elbow into the side of Ruby's face, switching her position and launching Ruby into the corner. There was a power flowing through Josephine's veins that she hadn't felt in a long time. Maybe even ever. Her boot hammered down into Ruby's midsection but her head spun around to see Becky still gathering herself at the bottom rope.

Josephine spun around and threw Ruby over the top rope only to get hit in the back of the head by Dana. Jo swung back an elbow, not even looking where she was hitting and then grabbed Dana's hair and threw her over the rope.

Josephine began to walk backwards until her back hit something firm and hard. Fingers wrapped around her wrist and spun the blonde around to find the ginger staring back at her, face covered and pooling from her face. Josephine couldn't tell where the blood was even coming from, but it was more concentrated on the inside of her left eye.

She knew she was not supposed to break her character during the invasion, but she couldn't help the hint of worry to slip onto her face as Becky's eyes softened for a split second - but it was gone the moment she let her see weakness.

Becky then pushed her shoulders back hard. "What the hell ya think you're doing?" she yelled out.

"What the hell do you think you're doing? I'm on your side!" Josephine countered back after her stumble towards the ropes. She didn't mean to back into Becky, she didn't even know the woman was behind her.

A few glances turned to look at the two women in the center of the ring, slightly confused of the situation that was going on in the middle while chaos surrounded them. This wasn't supposed to happen and it was definitely not in the script that the whole group had received.

Becky let out a slurred laugh even though her head was pounding against her skull. "You were never on my side, Josephine." Becky snarled back at her and pushed the woman back again, this time making her stumble down onto the mat beneath her.

Her large blue eyes widened up at the woman with flames for hair, blood gushing down from her face and covering her hands and up towards her biceps. Some blood even splattered onto Josephine's face when Becky spat back her words.

Becky was sick of the undeniably clear attraction that they felt towards one another. A gravitation that made her come closer and closer towards the blonde and when she backed into her, she had snapped and went off script.

But before any one of them could retaliate on one another, Ronda Rousey's music hit and the Baddest Woman on the Planet came running out full speed with a hand on her injured shoulder.

Becky's eyes snapped towards the woman coming down the ramp like a battering ram, and she slid underneath the ropes to escape the woman's wrath. Ronda took out everyone that was in her path towards Becky. She was angry that she had been humiliated in-front of thousands of people by The Man herself- everyone witnessed her tapping out like her career depended on it.

From beside Josephine, Asuka helped the blonde up while they stood there witnessing Ronda take out both of The Iconics. As her back was turned Becky stood behind her with a chair and then hit her in the stomach as she turned around.

Everyone around them continued their actions against the remaining women of the Raw Roster, Tamina crashed into the steel steps by Naomi and Carmella, and the rest of the Smackdown Women pushed Nia into the ring post and onto the floor below Josephine.

Josephine jumped on to the top rope with her two feet, jumping off to collide her fist with an already groggy Nia Jax. "You okay?" Sonya walked over towards her after the assault on RAW was coming to an end.

Josephine nodded up at her while smiling and took her offered hand while the rest of the Roster walked back towards the barricade, with Becky looking back at the two for a brief second. "Never better." she leaned into Sonya as they walked together towards where the other ladies were crossing the barrier.

Becky stood there with her arms out on either side of her with blood still coming down from her face. "This is my show now!" she yelled out over the deafening crowd that were cheering her name.

As Josephine came towards her their eyes connected for a brief moment, how she was still standing after the hit she took, Jo didn't know but she was impressed. With the blood gushing down her face, Becky looked like a vicious Irish warrior. It seemed like blood was the new turn on, and with everyone cheering around them and completely awe-stuck. They all agreed too.

A/N

Anyone else hear that Becky and Seth are apparently dating? Like whoop there goes my ship sailing in the distance. If there's any spelling mistakes, I'll correct them later - and If I spelled Ronda's name wrong - I don't care, lol.
