After she overslept and knew Caroline would kill her if she didn't show up in time for the party organisation,Elena was running on the street,with her to go coffee in her hands,becoming colder and colder with every step. Unconcious of what or who was passing by or standing in her way,she just uses her reflexes and avoids every single on of them.

Castiel was bored,just coming back from his superior,and with the permission he had to get for Alaric's case. It seems like the angels were really interested in this vampires...He was walking around the town,looking confused at all the buildings and shops around Mystic Falls. He felt a strange aura around the little town and suddenly understood the brief interest the angels had in it. We wasn't paying attention to the usual mortals,and he was very surprised that he bumped into a brunnette that was rushing in his direction. Her coffee spilled on both of their jackets and Elena,clumsy,tries to apologize.

,,Jesus Christ." She says,mumbling after apologizing for the 100th time.

,,No,it's just Castiel." He says,and the girl furrows her eyebrows at him. He was serious? And his name was unusual,who would name their kid Castiel. But in a kind of way,she loved it.

,,I'm Elena.Gosh,I'm so sorry for this mess." She says,analysing his spot and her own,but Castiel just flutters his hand,showing her it's not a big deal.

,,Don't worry about my jacket. I can always replace it. I'm more worried about yours." He says,looking at thr trench Elena was wearing,but Elena looked at it and back at Castiel.

,,Seriously,it's no big deal. It was my fault and my coffee." She says,feeling burn where the coffee touched her skin. Castiel looked at her and smiled.

,,I can't fix your jacket,but I can always buy you a new coffee." He says and Elena rolls her eyes,but still smiling.

,,You don't need to.It was just a coffee. I can always get a new one." She says,but Castiel frowns at her amused.

,,You refuse free beverauge?" He asks and Elena laughs. She forgot about her burns,or the spot on her black jacket.

,,Ok,you got me on that." She says as she and Castiel go to Mystic Grill to buy Elena a new coffee. When they get inside,Matt was cleaning the desk with a towel and as soon as he sees Elena,he smiles. But when Castiel walked in,he furrowed his brows. They both take a place and Castiel asks Elena what she'll get.

,,I believe a latte will work." She says to Matt and he looks at Castiel.

,,Can I get you something?" He asks,but Castiel just shakes his head and Matt leaves.

,,You said you're name was Elena?" He asks and she nods.

,,Yeah,Elena Gillbert." She says and Castiel remembers the name. Dean talked about her.

,,Oh,so you know-" Castiel tried to say,but it's cut off by Stefan,who gets inside and immediately pulls him away from her. Elena gasps,turning her head to Stefan and looking worried at Cass.

,,What are you doing with Elena?" He asks nervous,but Elena steps in.

,,Stefan,if you want something,ask me. If you don't,please don't cause any morr trouble." Elena and Castiel were the single ones in the Mystic Grill at that hour,but it still felt uncomfortable,because she didn't know what Castiel was or he knew about vampires. She couldn't take that risk.

,,No,Elena,we'll talk right here." He says,and Castiel barrly holds inside the urge to hit his face. He turns to face him and looks at him with his serious look. Stefan gives him the same look too,and Elena doesn't know what to do to prevent everything. And then,Stefan makes the first step and shows his fangs,coming closer to Castiel. Cass automatically knew what he was and Elena looked shocked at him,when he looked normal about it. Even Stefan thought it was awkward. But he doesn't hesitate. He throws himself at him, with his vampire speed,but Castiel is faster and puts his hand in the air,in his direction. Elena can't process what's happening,that fast Cas knocked Stefan on the wall. He looks shocked at Elena and then back at Castiel.

,,No one ever taught you how to behave?" Castiel says with his serious voice and he showed his wings. Both Elena and Stefan were baffled. What was he? They thought.

,,What the hell are you?" Stefan asked and Castiel just looked down at him.

,,You got it wrong,vampire. You may try heaven." He says and Elena suddenly understands.

,,Castiel,are you an angel?" She asks and both men turned their heads on him. Stefan was frightened,and Castiel looked more calm than ever.

,,Bingo." He says,making a sign with his hands and Stefan broke his neck immediately. Elena didn't know what to do,to thank him or to be afraid. He was an angel,her mother always taught her how they guard us and everything they sacrifice for humanity. And now,one of them savef her. It looked unreal.

,,What I was trying to say was if you know Dean Winchester?" He says and Elena furrows her brows at his name. Dean knew the guy? Ok,now she was compeltely shocked. Alaric never told her the plan of how they're catching his vampire so she didn't know about Cass.

,,Yeah." She says hesitantly.

,,He speaks about you." He says smiling and Elena gets more confused. Dean speaks about her with an angel?
