"Spencer?" I said.

Spencer scanned my face, and then Libitina's.

"Oh...hey guys..." He said.

Libitina placed her hand on top of mine and I looked over at her. She looked up at me.

"W-Who is this man?" Libitina asked.

"Spencer was one of the people who invaded camp Sabal. He's also the reason that I went there to begin with."

"So he's the reason that we...met?" She asked.

"Sure is."

I pointed over at Spencer.

"Libitina, meet Spencer. Spencer, this is Libitina." I said.

"Isn't Libitina the girl who was in a coma for a couple months?" Spencer asked.

"C-couple months?" Libitina said shocked.

I forgot that Libitina didn't know how long she was out for.

"You've been in a coma for about 4 months. Don't worry though, I came to see you every opportunity I got." I said.

"W-What's the date today?" Libitina asked.

"February 14th, 2020." Spencer said.

Libitina looked surprised at Spencer's words. She gripped my hand a little tighter.

"Spencer, are you alright?" I asked.

Spencer looked down at the table.

"Cosgrove...is gone..." He said softly.

"Who was Cosgrove, Harmon?" Libitina asked.

"Spencer's best friend..." I said.

Spencer started to stand up and looked down at me and Libitina.

"I apologise sincerely, but I must leave." He said.

"O-Okay...take care of yourself, Spencer." I said.

Spencer walked off without saying anything.

"Wait!" Libitina said.

Spencer looked over his shoulder to look at Libitina.

"T-Thank you..." She said.

That seemed to make Spencer smile a little, however he still walked away sluggishly.

"He'll be alright..." I said softly to Libitina.

"I-I hope so..." Libitina said back.

Me and Libitina started to eat our lunches. I got her a bag of chips with a sandwich cut in half.

I watched as she slowly raised a chip in front of her face.

"W-What are these?" She asked.

"They're chips. Try one, they're pretty good."

Libitina took a small nibble of the chip and her eyes opened really wide.  She shoved the entire chip into her mouth and started to chomp on it.

That's when I really noticed it. Libitina had two sets of fangs in her mouth.

"You might want to slow down. I don't want you to choke again." I said as Libitina grabbed a handful of chips.

Libitina paused and her face turned red. She set the chips down on her tray and faced me.

"Hehe...sorry...just a little hungry." She said.

Yeah, it's like she hadn't eaten for months...oh wait.

Libitina slowed down and slowly ate her chips. I opened my bag and started to eat mine.

I noticed Libitina was staring intently at me as I ate my chips. I saw that all of hers were gone.

"You want to try one of these?" I asked.

"C-Can I?"

"Sure thing."

Hehe, time to mess with Libitina. I grabbed one of my chips and held it in front of Libitina's face.

"Open wiiiide." I said.

Libitina was flustered a little bit, but then opened her mouth. I placed the chip in her mouth and she closed it.

She started to chew on it and I patted her head. She giggled a little bit with her mouth closed.

"You're so cute, Libitina." I said.

Libitina blushed a little but then grabbed her sandwich.

"Nom."

Libitina made a cute noise as she took a bite out of her sandwich.

"Sho...um...what are chu wearwing." Libitina said while she chewed her sandwich.

I looked down at what I was wearing, and realized how much of a slob I looked like.

I was still wearing my black dress pants, however my jacket was missing, exposing my white undershirt. I reaked of alcohol with stains on my white shirt.

I was in a hurry to get to the hospital this morning, so I didn't have enough time to get fully dressed.

"S***." I said.

"Harmon!"

"What?"

"T-That was a curse!"

"S-Sorry..."

Libitina grabbed my ear and pulled down on it. It kinda hurt...

"Whenever I would visit you, I'd wear a suit and tie, just in case you woke up."

"Why would you do that?"

"So you could see me at my best and...not like this..." I said as I looked down at what I was wearing.

"Harmon..."

Libitina grabbed both of my wrists as she looked deeply into my eyes.

"I don't care...w-what you look like. I will still...l-love you no matter what. You're my hero...and I couldn't live without you. T-Thank you for waiting for me."

My heart was racing. It was both cute and romantic how Libitina struggled to express her love.

"I love you too, Libitina." I said.

I wrapped my arms around Libitina and she gave me a hug back. I think she took more of my chips while her arms were behind my back.

I let go of her and noticed she was chewing something.

Yep, she took my chips.

Me and Libitina finished our lunches and I ate what chips were left after Libitina took "her portion."

"S-So do we get...to um...go back to your house?"  Libitina asked shyly.

"Yeah...um Libitina?" I asked.

"Yeah?"

"I'm going to be honest with you, I don't have the nicest house."

"Harmon...I don't care what kind of house you have or how wealthy you are...as long as I'm with you, everything is perfect."

I blushed a little bit as me and Libitina went into the parking garage. Down a couple rows I saw a beautiful black 1996 BMW with chromed rims.

I walked around to the passenger side door and opened it for Libitina. She looked confused.

"W-What is this...thing?" She asked.

"It's a car." I said.

"What's a car?"

"Um...I don't know how to explain it. It's a machine that gets us to different places." I said.

"Like a time machine?"

"No...not really."

Libitina got into the car but she didn't know how to sit in the chair.

I got in, and Libitina matched the way that I sat in my chair.

I turned on the engine and Libitina was surprised by it.

"W-Woah...it sounds like a monster..." She said.

"It's harmless." I said.

I pulled out of the parking space and out of the parking garage.

And made my way home.
