Chapter 46| Surprise
Rayyana's POV
I drank my coffee and suddenly felt like throwing up, I quickly rushed to the bathroom and threw up everything I had in me. "Rayyana?" Sabha said and she slowly pulled my hair back. I sighed and leaned back from the toilet.
"Are you okay?" Sabha whispered pulling my baby hair to the side of my forehead, off of my sweaty forehead. I nodded and took deep slow breath's. "Do you want me to call Asad?" I shook my head, he was at a match all the way in California it was his biggest one yet I didn't want to disturb him.
Sabha had came over to help me around the house a little bit since I was feeling a little bit under the weather lately. My phone rang and Sabha put it on speaker "Hi Jaan." Sabha and I quietly chuckled.
"You shouldn't be calling your Best friend's wife Jaan." I could feel Asad's blush all the way from where I am "Sorry Sabha! I didn't know you were on, where's Rayyana? Is she okay?" Sabha and I looked at each other and I shook my head.
"She's taking a shower, I'll tell her you called." Asad agreed and told Sabha that he was on his way home in a few hours. Sabha hung up and she helped me sit down on our sofa. We sat there for a few minutes while I finally quieted down.
Sabha left for the market and came back a few minutes later, I looked inside the bag she has brought and I gasped.
"Sabha....are you sure?" Sabha nodded, I gulped and went into the bathroom. I came out shaking "It's almost done..." Sabha went into the bathroom with me and together we stared at the test.

I was pregnant.
Sabha and I looked at each other and we both screamed and hugged. Someone from next door came to check on us and we assured her that everything was okay. "Oh my god, when are you going to tell Asad?"
Asad's birthday was coming up soon, I still had to plan his gift but now I didn't have to. "His birthday is coming up soon, I'll give to him then."
Sabha and I agreed not to tell anyone yet.
There was a knock at the door while me and Sabha were talking, she walked to the door and opened it. I sat on the sofa waiting for some talking, I heard nothing but quiet mumble.
"Hi Jaan." I turned and jumped up, I hugged Asad so tight that we almost fell down. He laughed in my ear while he spun me around "Why are you acting like we haven't seen each other in years?"
I want to tell you Asad
"No reason." We leaned back and I wiped my tears "I missed you." Asad chuckled and picked me up, I squealed while he took me to a room while Sabha just waved at me from behind Asad. He layed me down on the bed and climbed on top of me kissing my neck.
I gently pushed him away "Asad, I'm sorry but I can't right now." Asad frowned down on me "Are you still not feeling well? We should really go to a doctor." I shook my head "No, It's okay I'll feel better soon."
Asad nodded and promised not to touch me since I say so. That was one thing I admired about Asad, If I told him I didn't want to do anything for month's he still wouldn't touch me till I told him too.
My dad used to do the same thing, It's funny because I've always asked ALLAH to give me a man that treated me just like my dad treated my mom. And he had given me one, even though it started our rough.
I came outside and saw Sabha closing the main door "Oh sorry, I didn't know what was going on in there so I decided to leave." I asked her if she wanted to stay but she said she had to go since it was almost time for Amir to come home.
We both said goodbye and I gently closed the door and bit my lip with excitement.
I can't wait!
Soojin's POV
I groaned and watched as another angry family got up from our sofa and left our house. My dad rubbed his forehead and without another word towards me went to his room.
I don't know how long my dad was going to keep this up, we were both tired. We hadn't talked in liberal day's (Minus the time we talk when people come to see me) I got up from the sofa and sat down on the dining table.
Our maid brought me some tea and I drank it all in one big gulp. My dad came downstairs and sat across from me. We had one of those big fancy dining table's you see in movies, they may seem cool but when it's just you and your dad it's awful.
"I think...It's best if you move out." I slowly put my cup down, I felt the taste in my mouth go sour. "Soojin, clearly no one want's you. And because you aren't muslim anymore you don't have to do all this the...Halal way."
I felt his grimace from where I sat "I'm giving you money, and I'm not blocking anything. You will go wherever you want too, we will not talk or contact each other. Yes, you may borrow some of my things but that's it, we are no long father and daughter okay?"
I didn't know what to say, what do I say to my...ex-dad? I didn't know you could completely remove a child from your life after they were grown. Even though it hurt a little, I felt happy. I could finally go whoever I wanted, no rules or responsibility's just me and myself.
I happily nodded and skipped to my room to pack my things.
World here I come!
